A Note From The Superintendent
Troy Christian Schools welcome you to this year’s musical,
Oklahoma. We thank the parents, teachers, and community
members who have been so generous with their time, talents
and resources. We are excited about the opportunity this gives
our students to explore the gifts that God has given them. We
believe the arts are a crucial part of our students’ education.
We appreciate the many hours that have been invested learning
songs, getting lines just right, creating sets, and many other
behind-the-scenes activities to make this production possible.
We hope you enjoy your evening with us, and the outstanding
talent at Troy Christian Schools.
His Servant and Yours,
A Note From The Drama Boosters President
Welcome to the TCHS production of Oklahoma! We are so glad
that you are joining us this evening! The students, directors,
parents and other volunteers have all been working hard to be
able to present this musical for you. We are truly blessed to
have the talent, the facilities, and the resources represented at
Troy Christian Schools. It is always amazing to me to watch a
big show come together through the cooperation of so many
individuals. To God be the glory! Now, please sit back and enjoy
the show!
Mrs. Tracy George
“Drama Mama”
Due to the “old west” nature of our musical this year, it is appropriate and necessary
to portray the use of irearms in the context which they are written in
the script. Any irearm portrayed in this production is a non-iring replica and
is completely incapable of iring “real bullets”. Although they portray the likeness
of a pistol or rile, they are merely theatrical props essential to the theme
and nature of the play.
