about? 

Q1. What is this book about? 

The Rothschild banking family has been running the world 

from behind the scenes for a few centuries now. In future, 

they want to do it openly, without fear of retribution. To 

that end, their underlings led by the Rockefellers are 

spearheading a movement for a single worldwide 

dictatorship. The goal is a smaller and meeker world 

population under the absolute dictatorship of a chosen 

elite. In this book, you will learn how this dictatorship is 

being put into place with the unwitting support of the 

slaves themselves. 

Too good to be true? Skip over to the Appendix I for the 

full text of the 1924 book Icarus, or The Future Of 

Science by Marxist philosopher Bertrand Russell. It has the 

complete outline for the Rothschild World Dictatorship. 

I fear Bertrand Russell's vision of the future more than the 

one portrayed by George Orwell in his book 1984 because 

it is increasingly clear that future generations will not just 

be ignorant but they will physically incapable of thinking 

for themselves. Slavishness will be part of their genes, as 

foreseen by Russell. The book is notionally targeted at 

those future slaves but I can see that they will not have 

the wherewithal to make sense out of this book. 

I have published this book merely as a personal consolation

over the years. That is also why this is a A5-size 

handbook. I urge the reader to study the references 

mentioned in the bibliography. Otherwise, it will be very 

difficult to realize the enormity of the Rothschild 

conspiracy against humanity.

International aid is not meant for charity. It is imperialism 

masquerading as philanthropy. 

The Rothschilds are still in control of the previously 

imperialist nations and they use foreign aid to keep the 

now-independent former colonies firmly under their 

control. 

Aid is available in two forms – grants and loans. Grants 

need not be paid back. Loans have to be paid back with 

interest. 

To build a school or a hospital, you need to take a loan. 

To buy weapons for the police or the military, aid is 

readily available as a grant. 

Aid is provided to an independent nation to: 

• Make it inextricably indebted in a foreign currency 

– the debt can never be paid back or will not be 

allowed to be paid back 

• Usurp its sovereignty – dispossess natives of control 

over their destiny and to put the dispensers of 

foreign capital in charge 

• Infiltrate its politics, bureaucracy, business, 

academia, media, and non-governmental 


organisations (NGOs)

When there is lack of transparency in government and the 

Press fails do its duty, conspiracy theories try to fill the 

void. When ordinary people make conjectures based on 

circumstantial evidence, it upsets the US government and 

news organisations. United States of America is a Soviet 

Union in disguise. News is carefully filtered and packaged 

so that Americans do not rise up and rebel against their 

government. 

To keep itself in business, the US government is the #1 

manufacturer of conspiracy theories in the world. Its 

agencies employ tens of thousands of propaganda workers 

working overtly and covertly. The budget for spreading 

official propaganda and galvanising public opinion runs into 

hundreds of billions of dollars. On its own, war-mongering 

and “military entertainment” brings in a lot of 

advertisement revenue for private news organisations. So, 

contrarian contributions from the civilian side is considered 

unwelcome competition. Rather than accept dissent or 

confront criticism, the US government and news 

organisations turn the issue on its head and attack the 

very notion of “conspiracy theory.” Years of putting the 

words conspiracy theory inside quotation marks has 

conditioned the American people to adopt a Pavlovian 



attitude (dog, bell, drool) towards the whole concept. 

Conspiracy theories are automatically associated with 

mentally ill people. 

This picture, by VigilantCitizen.com, best summarizes the 

majority attitude of American people. Even then, many 

Americans keep stumbling upon facts and ask 

uncomfortable questions. Some even take it upon 

themselves to inform other Americans about them. 

To neutralise these busybodies, the US government and its 

paymasters on Wall Street clandestinely employ 

professional “conspiracy theorists” working outside 

“mainstream” news organisations. Their main objective is 



to prevent people from digging any facts on their own. 

They want sceptical people to remain passive consumers 

of flawed “conspiracy theories.” (Conspiracy theories are 

conjectures made from circumstantial evidence - meeting 

of minds, acting in concert, suspicious coincidences, etc. 

They cannot be based on bogus evidence.) 

US government-sponsored conspiracy theorists come in 

different shades and each one works on a different 

segment of the American society. They claim to provide 

great value but they liberally mix facts with fiction to 

mislead their audience. It is not unusual to find some of 

them provoking racial hatred, and inciting violence and 

terrorism.* Almost all of them, urge their followers to 

trust them and solicit confidential insider information. Law 

enforcement agencies follow up on those leads.

The sun, wind and ocean waves represent unlimited 

sources of energy. There are very few human habitats 

where one of them does not exist in abundance. We need 

to keep on building their power stations until all 

requirements of stationary consumers of electricity are 

met. For automotive consumers, we need to build 

additional power stations and use the energy produced by 

them extract hydrogen from water. When hydrogen burns 

with oxygen, the output is water vapour. End to end, there 

is no pollution. 

Of course, water is an extremely inert/stable molecule and 

the energy released from the combustion of hydrogen and 

oxygen is more explosive than petrol or diesel. So, what? 

We need to invest in creating a more sophisticated engine! 

That would be cheaper than fighting a war. 

Other alternatives only cause more harm than good. “Biofuels” 

pollute. They will never be available in sufficient 

quantities to replace petroleum products. They can also 

adversely affect food prices when agricultural land is 

diverted to produce “bio-fuel” crops. (Electric cars are 

NOT a source of energy. They will use power from 

conventional energy sources. Their batteries are nonbiodegradable 

and extremely toxic. For disposal, they will 

most likely be dumped in developing countries.)

Also note that I am not making this recommendation 

because we are going to run out of oil or in response to 

the "climate change" paranoia. No, there is an unlimited 

supply of petroleum and natural gas. Contrary to what 

science books teach us, oil does not come from prehistoric 

dinosaurs or vegetation trapped between layers of earth's 

crust. The numbers wouldn't add up if that was the case. 

Oil is just like any another mineral - their origins are 

abiotic* like that of limestone or iron ore.

The Rothschilds. They use a web of debt to control the 

world. They control all petroleum-producing nations and 

also control the currency in which petroleum is paid for 

(US dollar). If countries were not dependent on petroleum, 

they will be able pay for their imports in their own 

currency. If countries had no need for the US dollar, they 

will no longer indebted to the Rothschilds and their phoney 

money. 

The initial capital cost of clean-energy operations are 

artificially marked up by bankers, contractors, equipment 

suppliers, and in most cases the owners themselves. One 

reason is that they can charge more while availing 

subsidies and tax holidays. Another reason is that the 

owners are from the oil industry. It is they who bring their 

pedigree cost-inflation shenanigans that they use when 

signing Production-Sharing Agreement (PSA) with 

governments.

The US dollar is not real money. It is a debt note. It may 

have a counterfeit portrait of a dead American president 

on it. Otherwise, it is nothing more than an I-Owe-You 

note. All US dollars are issued as debt. 

When the US government issues dollars, it has in fact 

“borrowed” the money from a US central bank, known as 

the US Federal Reserve. 

The Federal Reserve is run like a de facto private 

institution. It is run by former bankers, not civil servants. 

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica*: 

It consists of the Board of Governors of the 

Federal Reserve System, the 12 Federal 

Reserve banks, the Federal Open Market 

Committee, the Federal Advisory Council, and, 

since 1976, a Consumer Advisory Council; there 

are several thousand member banks. 

The seven members of the Board of Governors are all 

political appointees of the US President (who is always a 

Rothschild stooge). Once appointed, a Governor serves for 

a long term of 14 years and cannot be removed from that 

post– ostensibly to preserve their “independence.” 

The 12 Federal Reserve banks are openly private 


institutions. The Britannica states: 


A Federal Reserve bank is a privately owned 

corporation established pursuant to the Federal 

Reserve Act to serve the public interest; it is 

governed by a board of nine directors, six of whom 

are elected by the member banks and three of 

whom are appointed by the Board of Governors of 

the Federal Reserve System. 

The Federal Open Market Committee is also dominated by 

the same people. Quoting the Britannica: 

The 12-member Federal Open Market Committee, 

consisting of the seven members of the Board of 

Governors, the president of the Federal 

Reserve Bank of New York, and four members 

elected by the Federal Reserve banks, is responsible 

for the determination of Federal Reserve bank 

policy to encourage long-term objectives of price 

stability (i.e., controlling inflation through the 

adjustment of interest rates) and economic growth. 

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York dominates the 

Federal Reserve System like no other. According to its 

website:

Banks, the New York Fed is the largest Reserve 

Bank in terms of assets and volume of activity... 

In addition to responsibilities the New York Fed 

shares in common with the other Reserve Banks, 

the New York Fed has several unique 

responsibilities, including conducting open market 

operations, intervening in foreign exchange 

markets, and storing monetary gold for foreign 

central banks, governments and international 

agencies. Foremost among its functions is the 

implementation of monetary policy, one of the 

three missions of the New York Fed. The other 

two are supervision and regulation, and 

international operations.... The Fed's 

responsibilities extend to all state-chartered banks 

that are members of the Federal Reserve System, 

all U.S. bank holding companies and many of the 

U.S. operations of foreign banking organizations. 

In addition, the Fed stands ready to provide 

temporary or long-term liquidity to any depository 

institution that meets its criteria for discount 

window borrowing...The New York Fed, 

representing the Federal Reserve System and the 

U.S. Treasury, also is responsible for intervening 

in foreign exchange markets to achieve dollar 

exchange rate policy objectives and to counter 

disorderly conditions in foreign exchange 



markets...Another responsibility of the New York 

Fed is to serve as fiscal agent in the United States 

for foreign central banks and official international 

financial organizations. It acts as the primary 

contact with other foreign central banks. The 

services provided for these institutions include the 

receipt and payment of funds in U.S. dollars; 



purchase and sale of foreign exchange and 

Treasury securities; and the storage of monetary 

gold.* 

The shareholding pattern of the New York Fed, like other 

federal reserve banks, is not publicly known as it is a 

private corporation. A look at the directors over the years 

representing by Class A stock (representing banks) gives a 

rough idea who the owners might be – all known 

Rothschild fronts – JP Morgan, Citibank, and Chase 

Manhattan. 

A partial “audit” (probably the only one ever) of the 

Federal Reserve in 2011* revealed that the US central 

bank had outsourced many of its functions to a select 

group of favoured private banks and that they gave 

themselves trillions of dollars of secret loans at near-zero 

interest rates.* Also, in response to a suit filed under 

Freedom Of Information Act by the the Bloomberg news 

agency in 2009, the Board of Governors argued that the 

New York Fed was not a public institution and does not 

have to release “proprietary information” or “trade 

secrets.”* 

Thus, the Federal Reserve maintains a façade of being a 

public institution to legitimize its control of the US 

financial system. At the same time, it uses its private facet 

to let its foreign owners to control and conducts its 

operations in secret. 



Prior to the Federal Reserve, US government borrowed 

debt notes from private bankers (again, agents of the 

Rothschilds). American states had their own banks with 

their own currencies. (Clearing houses solved the problem 

of settlement and exchange.) The Rothschilds made two 

attempts at central banking in the United States but the 

charters of those central banks were not renewed. In the 

intervening years, JP Morgan and others, acting for the 

Rothschilds, engineered financial panics that created a 



climate favourable for the establishment of a central bank 

in 1913. 

The name “Federal” was chosen because the term “central 

bank” was immediately associated with the Rothschilds. 

(The Rothschilds were the pioneers of central banking and 

their name was treated with great suspicion in the United 

States.) Several safeguards that were used to sell the 

Federal Reserve idea were later dismantled in subsequent 

years. For example, the Banking Act of 1935 removed 

the Secretary of Treasury and the Comptroller of Currency 

from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. 

In many conspiracy theories floating on the Internet, two 

US presidents – Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy - 

are routinely cited as having stood up to the Rothschild 

attempts to control the American banking system and as a 

consequence were gruesomely assassinated in public. It is 

quite likely that both assassinations were staged.* 

The establishment of a central bank in the United States 

was long in the making. As the original American colonies 

lacked a Royal mint, there was an inadequate supply of 

coins. The colonies started issuing their own interest-free 

currencies 85 years before the American Revolution. 

Massachusetts issuing its first Colonial paper in 1690. 

When that experiment worked, other colonies followed 

suit. Colonial paper was revolutionary because it was 

issued in proportion of the needs of trade and commerce, 



and required no stocks of gold or silver. Britain found this 

to be against its interest and encouraged massive 

counterfeiting of Colonial paper. The Currency Act of 

1751 and 1764 effectively banned all Colonial paper. To 

prevent a return to these independent debt-free currencies, 

prominent American Freemasons were tasked with ending 

the independence of the colonies, formation of a single 

country in its place under a centralized government - that 

would then authorize the use of an interest-bearing 

currency controlled by the Rothschilds. Work on a central 

bank started immediately after the American Revolution.* 

A Bank of United States was formed in 1791, on the 

lines of the Bank of England, three years after George 

Washington was inaugurated as the first US president.* 

By the time its charter was up for renewal, more than 

70% of its stock was owned by foreigners, who received 

8.4% dividend – resulting in depletion of considerable gold 

and silver. There was also conflicts of interest as this 

“central bank” set rules for banking and at the same time 

competed with other banks. The bank's charter ended in 

1811 and was not renewed. A second Bank of United 

States was chartered in 1816. It began disastrously with 

allegations of outright fraud dominating it. There was 

much debate about the constitutional legality of the 

central bank. Although the Supreme Court deemed it 

constitutional, President Andrew Jackson refused to renew 

its charter, who was driven to do it in a game of oneupmanship 

with the Whig Party (its most ardent 


supporter). 


All of this history and information is unnecessary if you 

just take a cursory look at the symbolism that the Federal 

Reserve uses. The one-dollar bill is the best example for 

this. The Franklin committee which worked on the Great 

Seal of the United States chose the words, positions, 

and the images to pay tribute to Freemasonry (a secret 

organization that seems to have originated in ancient 

Palestine* and which the Rothschilds now control). 



When the Masonic pentagram is drawn on the reverse side 

of the seal, it will connect the letters that make up the 

word M-A-S-O-N. For laymen, the “all-seeing eye” on the 

seal is supposed to represent “providence” but there is no 

such thing in Christianity. In Freemasonic iconography, it 

represents the Sun God, Lucifer, or Satan depending on 

whom you ask. The half-finished pyramid could mean the 

half-finished work of America or it could mean that of the 

Freemasons. (If you observe closely, you will see the 

pyramid, the all-seeing eye and other Freemasonic symbols 

in a lot more places.) 

The Latin “Novus Ordo Seclorum” translates to “A New 

Order of the Ages.” This motto, composed by poet Virgil, 

has been used by many Rothschild protégés such as Adolf 

Hitler and George W Bush to mean “New World Order” or 

the future world dictatorship. 

Considering the amount of effort that the Rothschilds 

have put in establishing the US central bank, one might be 

forgiven to the think that the US Federal Reserve as the 

culmination of their efforts. This is wrong. Their next goal 

is a global central bank with a single currency. If it requires 

the collapse of the Federal Reserve, then the Rothschilds 

would not mind destroying the American financial system 

to achieve it.

� The revolution was started on the bogus issue of excessive taxation and lack 

of representation. Americans now pay several times more tax. Their political 

system is hostile to non-establishment parties and the electoral voting machines 

always seem to elect Rothschild candidates. 

� Freemasons claim that their beliefs originated in Egypt in the times of the 

Pharaohs and they mystery schools. This is very unlikely. Ancient Jews were an 

uncultured people and lived beyond the pale of civilization when the Egyptian 

mystery schools flourished. All evidence suggests that Freemasonry originated in 

Palestine around the fall of Jerusalem to the Romans. Ancient Jews had killed 

Jesus Christ, usurped his message, and started a new religion called Christianity 

under Paul. The Vatican was the conduit with which Freemasonry spread and 

flourished. 

� The famed “founding fathers” of the American Constitution left Article II with 

blanks so that Washington could fill it with whatever executive powers that he 

saw fit.

Two US presidents, Abraham Lincoln and John F 

Kennedy, are routinely cited as having been gruesomely 

assassinated in public for threatening Rothschild control of 

US money system. Andrew Jackson is also cited as 

someone who resisted and survived. The truth is that all of 

them were Rothschild agents. 

Abraham Lincoln, in his time, was well known as a 

Rothschild agent. He worked all his life to establish a 

“national bank” and increase the power of the federal 

government. He was a member of the Whig Party (which 

shared the same goal) for a longer time than he was a 

member of the Republican Party. After his death, Lincoln 

has been portrayed as a great champion against slavery. 

(His original plan was to simply transport all blacks back 

to Africa.) Truth is that the American Civil War was 

precipitated by the sly attempt to usurp the power of 

states using slaveryas a ruse. Acting on Rothschild orders, 

Lincoln unleashed a brutal civil war in which civilians in the 

South, not just their combatants, were deliberately 

targeted and murdered and their property pillaged and 

destroyed. This was the first time Americans fought fellow 

Americans in this manner. The Rothschild plan was to 



make the war last as long as possible. Union side was 

supported by the French side of the Rothschild family 

while the Confederate side was financed by the English 

side. (Not knowing all this, the Russian Tsar intervened on 

the side of the North and earned the wrath of the 

Rothschilds. The Rothschilds would then unleash 

Communist revolutionaries into Russia as revenge.) During 

the war, Lincoln did issue the so-called “debt-free 

greenbacks” but this currency was backed by long-term 

debt and gold bonds. This provided the Rothschilds an 

opportunity to test-market a “specie” currency (one that 

was not backed by solid value such as gold or silver) in the 

United States. Lincoln's assassination, real or unreal, 

helped in dissipating the simmering tension in the South 

following their defeat in the civil war. 

In April 1961, the then US President John F Kennedy 

made a speech where he darkly cited the existence of a 

global conspiracy. 

… we are opposed around the world by a 

monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on 

covert means for expanding its sphere of influence 

- on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion 

instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free 

choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by 

day. It is a system which has conscripted vast 

human and material resources into the building of 



a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that 

combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, 

economic, scientific and political operations. Its 

preparations are concealed, not published. Its 

mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters 

are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is 

questioned, no rumour is printed, no secret is 

revealed... 

While most newspapers thought he was referring to 

Communism, others thought he was pointing in the 

direction of Freemasonry and the Rothschild network. 

Kennedy lived a good two years after giving this 

speech. Interestingly enough, Kennedy came from an 

illustrious line of Rothschild loyal stooges, many of whom 

were top honchos in Freemasonry.* Kennedy himself was a 

member of Knights of Malta, which is allied to the 

Catholic Church and is notionally is opposed to 

Freemasonry.* According to lurid accounts published in 

mainstream news publications, Kennedy's appetite for 

women was greatly aggravated by an astonishing cocktail 

of medicines that he was prescribed for a chronic medial 

condition. He allegedly started having sex in public as a 

result.* In June 1963, Kennedy issued Executive Order 

#1110, which authorized the Secretary of the Treasury to 

issue silver certificates, against the bullion in stock. 

Contrary to many theories floating around, this order did 

not pose a challenge to the power of the Federal Reserve. 



In effect, it relieved the Office of the President the power 

to issue bullion-backed currency. After he was 

assassinated, Kennedy most likely lived a quiet life with his 

mistress Marilyn Monroe. 

Andrew Jackson was the winner in the “Nullification

Finding heroes who stood up to the Rothschild conspiracy 

is a pointless exercise. Opposition to the Rothschild’s 

global reign has mostly been weak and disorganized. And, 

the Rothschilds know the value of patience, which is a 

great virtue. At worst, they would just have to wait it out 

- for their opposition to run out of energy.

In traditional banking, a bank offers loans at a higher rate 

than it pays for deposits from the public. It makes a profit 

(after accounting for expenses, tax, and reserves) using 

the margin between loans and deposits. But American 

banks operated under a system called fractional reserve 

banking. Banks could make loans for $100 even if they 

have only $10 as deposits. So, from where does the new 

money come for these loans? Out of thin air, of course. 

Yes. All of that loan money need not be printed. Nobody 

takes the entire loan amount out as cash! The new money 

remains in the banking system as book entries. 

In 1913, Rothschild agents in the US Congress established 

a permanent US central bank cunningly named as the the 

Federal Reserve. From then on, the Federal Reserve has 

issued debt notes as currency on behalf of the US 

government. 

When the US government issues currency (that is, pays its 

debts), it has in effect “borrowed” the money from the 

Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve also issues currency 

to American banks when someone takes a loan. All money 

that comes into the American financial system is via loans. 

A few favoured big banks can borrow money from the 

Federal Reserve at low interest rates and lend them to 

consumers at high rates. 



Being at the front of the line, the bankers have an 

insurmountable advantage over all others. They can buy 

stock in other companies and those companies can beat 

competitors out of business. This is how top banks in 

America have become the top asset holders and 

shareholders in America. They own almost everything. 

When the bank's customer repays the loan, he has to do 

so at a far higher interest rate. If it is a credit card loan, 

then the customer has to suffer exponential interest rate. 

Late payment? Interest hike and penalty fees are in order. 

American banks as a matter of policy gouge their 

customers. All money that goes into circulation HAS to be 

borrowed. The problem with this system of banking is that 

the money borrowed from the Federal Reserve can never 

be paid back. To pay the interest, more “money” needs to 

be borrowed from the Federal Reserve. Thus, money owed 

to bankers rises exponentially. 

Ironically, this mad system was based on some “logic” 

behind it. If the money was not based on debt and was 

issued whenever the king wanted to pay for something, 

then a spineless central banker would issue so much 

currency that it would debase it own value. On the 

contrary, a debt-based currency would cause the monarch 

to be careful with money and prevent him from incurring 

wasteful expenditure such as war or luxury. But, the 

Federal Reserve issued an unbelievable amount of currency 



anyway. In the aftermath of the 2008 financial meltdown, 

the Federal Reserve issued $16 trillion in secret loans to 

American and foreign financial institutions.* To put in 

perspective, the total GDP of the United States in 2011 

was just above $15 trillion.

Energy tapped from sun and wind can be used to 

split hydrogen and oxygen from water (another 

inexhaustible source) so that automobiles could use

petroleum did not come compressed dinosaur and

carbon fuels have high energy density, which is in 

their favour. Alternative energy technologies, say 

hydrogen fuel cells, are extremely heavy, making

vehicles pose serious waste disposal problems. 

Hydrogen-oxygen combustion holds a lot of promise. 

As water is an extremely inert molecule, a lot of 

energy is required to separate hydrogen and oxygen 

from water. (Solar and wind power can provide this 

energy.) After they are separated, hydrogen and

populated areas from coast to coast as well as US 

territories were blanketed with various organisms 

during tests designed to measure patterns of 

dissemination in the air, weather effects, dosages, 

optimum placement of the source, and other 

factors. Testing over such areas was supposedly 



suspended after 1969 but there is no way to be 

certain of this. 

In 1994, the US General Accountability Office confirmed 

that these programs have not been stopped! 



This proves that governments (even democratically elected 

ones) are not averse to spreading diseases among its own 

citizens under some cover. 

One of the biggest impediments of a Rothschild worldwide 

dictatorship is the huge size of the world population. The 

United Nations Organization (UN), its sister outfit the 

World Health Organization (WHO), and agencies of 

developed countries (such as IMF, World Bank, USAID) 

are at the forefront of efforts aimed at reducing the world 

population. It is in this context that their vaccination 



programmes look suspicious. It can become even more 

uncomfortable when you read the last paragraph of the 

Report of the Rockefeller Commission on Population and 

American Future* (submitted to US President Richard 

Nixon in 1969): 

... For our part, it is enough to make population, 

and all that it means, explicit on the national 

agenda, to signal its impact on our national life, to 

sort out the issues, and to propose how to start 

toward a better state of affairs. By its very nature, 

population is a continuing concern and should 

receive continuing attention. Later generations, 

and later commissions, will be able to see the right 

path further into the future. In any case, no 

generation needs to know the ultimate goal 

or the final means, only the direction in 

which they will be found. 

The World Health Organization mandates the use of 

mercury aluminium, and formaldehyde in vaccines as safe 

preservatives.* Earlier, vaccines contained only dead cells. 

Now, many vaccines contain live cells. These vaccines can 

turn deadly or cause serious harm if the microbes have not 

been weakened. The presence of live cells in vaccines also 

ensures that the microbe remains endemic within the 

human population instead of getting eliminated. 

Vaccinated individuals, even if they gain any immunity, 



become carriers of the disease-causing organism. Nonvaccinated 

siblings and family members are also in danger 

of getting infected by those who get vaccinated. 

Apart from causing the very diseases they are supposed to 

eliminate, vaccinations also have numerous adverse side 

effects – from gangrene* and narcolepsy* to death. In 

some countries, vaccines were found to contain chemicals 

that caused miscarriages in pregnant mothers. William 

Engdahl* writes: 

… The WHO oversaw massive vaccination 

campaigns against tetanus in Nicaragua, Mexico 

and the Philippines. Comite Pro Vida de Mexico, 

a Roman Catholic lay organization, became 

suspicious of the motives behind the WHO program 

and decided to test numerous vials of the vaccine 

and found them to contain human Chorionic 



Gonadotrophin, or hCG. That was a curious 

component for a vaccine designed to protect people 

against lock-jaw arising from infection with rusty 

nail wounds or other contact with certain bacteria 

found in soil. The tetanus disease was indeed, also 

rather rare. It was also curious because hCG was a 

natural hormone needed to maintain a pregnancy. 

However, when combined with a tetanus toxoid 

carrier, it stimulated formation of 

antibodies against hCG, rendering a 

woman incapable of maintaining a 

pregnancy, a form of concealed abortion . 

Similar reports of vaccines laced with hCG 

hormones came from the Philippines and 

Nicaragua. 

In 2011, polio surveillance data collected by the Indian 

government showed that over 60,000 kids had developed 

polio symptoms within 15 days of receiving the vaccine. 

Even the WHO had accept that the vaccine can cause 

polio, the government refused vaccine can cause polio, the 

government refused to halt the program and “discarded” 

almost all of the acute flaccid paralysis cases as not 

caused by vaccine 







In the same year in Finland, the government came to 

conclusion that the influence vaccine resulted in narcolepsy 

in children. Flu vaccines were given after WHO raised an 

alarm of a global pandemic. The pandemic failed to 

materialize but by then Western governments had bought 

huge stocks of vaccines from drug companies (who 

miraculously supplied at short notice). These stocks were 

then dumped on developing countries. 

Considering the side effects and their unproven 



effectiveness, vaccines should have been relegated 

as medical quackery. Instead, drug companies 

rake in phenomenal profits from sales of vaccines 

as the prices are artificially marked up. They do 

not have to prove that the vaccine works, as 

vaccines are no longer independently tested by 

government agencies. There is also no risk 

involved, as they have been very successful in 

getting laws enacted to give them complete 

immunity from lawsuits. They have also signed 

contracts that make governments pay for all 

compensation demands. 

Vaccine outfits use unethical means to sell vaccines. WHO 

also pushes a lot of vaccines on hospitals. In most cases, 



the diseases against which these vaccines are supposed to 

work are not a big concern. Yet, doctors prescribe them 

anyway. Women going for any reason will get pitch for 



HPV. If you go for dressing a cut, you will be asked to 

take a tetanus vaccine. 

Drug companies provide doctors, health workers, and 

pharmacists huge monetary benefits for moving stocks of 

vaccines. Doctors are also paid for any articles or letters 



they get published or any favourable interviews that get 

broadcast. Drug companies also bankroll the election funds 

and charities of politician in return for support for 

government measures that mandate vaccination. Vaccine 

companies have also been heavily involved in some very 

questionable vaccine trials in developing countries with the 

ultimate aim of getting their expensive vaccines made 

mandatory and state-funded in developed countries. 

Under the pressure of the Rockefellers (that is the UN and 

aid agencies), government regulation of drugs and vaccines 

the world over has also become very lax. There is little or 

no government oversight. Drug companies self-certify all 

test data. Regulatory bodies act like glorified rubber 

stamps. Officials in charge of policy/approvals retire and 

take up well-paying jobs in the same companies they once 

regulated. In the US and UK, politicians have been under 

so much pressure that they have legalized vaccination 

without parents' consent.* The vaccines were originally 

recommended for prostitutes but became mandated for all 

young girls. After the girls were found with adverse effects, 

the drug company started recommending vaccines for boys 

and even adult men too! There have also been some kiteflying 

to make vaccine trials mandatory*, that is, forced 

injections of experimental vaccines. 

Apart from vaccination, Rockefellers have also employed 

social engineering techniques. They bankrolled Margaret 

Sanger's Planned Parenthood, which pioneered abortions 



and family planning. Rockefellers also started the 

Feminist Movement. The Rockefellers appointed the 

American CIA* as the lead government agency to infiltrate 

news organizations, educational institutions and popular 

culture with Feminist ideas. While most people think that 

the Feminist movement was meant to empower women, 

its real purpose was to convince women that motherhood 

was a burden and something that stifled their freedom. 

(By then, almost all women had stopped something they 

have been doing for millions of years - giving birth at 

home. As if pregnancy was a disease, women got admitted 

to hospitals for delivery.) The Feminist movement also 

succeeded in making many women delay/avoid marriage

Codex Alimentarius is Latin for “food book.” It was 

established by the UN (United Nations) arms - WHO

Agricultural Organization). The Codex uses a numbering 

system known as the International Numbering System 

(INS) for additives used in processed food products. One 

of the real 

objectives of 

Codex 

Alimentarius 

is to

page, you will see an excerpt from an interview with a 

timber expert that seems to be made from saw dust. 

In the actual list of ingredients published by McDonald's 

on their website,* it is identified as “cellulose gum.” 

Cellulose gum is synthesized or artificially produced by 

treating “wood flour” with chloroacetic acid. By calling it 

“cellulose gum,” the fact that the ingredient is made from 

saw dust can be hidden.

The Codex Alimentarius takes this even further. Using the 

International Numbering System (INS) of the Codex, saw 

dust+chloroacetic acid a.k.a. “cellulose gum” needs to be 

identified only as “anti-caking agent (E500)” or worse just 

“E500.” Thus, consumers will not be able to identify the 

real source of the ingredients used in processed foods. The 

numbers mentioned on the packaging tell no stories. 

Another advantage of the Codex is waste disposal. 

Previously, many of the ingredients and their 

intermediaries were considered as waste and cost money 

to dispose safely. Now, the slaves will be disposing it for 

them by actually consuming it. If the slaves bought fresh 

foods and the basic ingredients from a grocery store to 

cook their meals, then they would not be exposing their 

bodies to such chemicals. So, the processed food industry 

makes a deceptive claim that their ingredients are 

chemically equivalent to natural ones. This is simply not 

true. 

Many artificial ingredients are never found in traditional 

home-cooked meals. Even otherwise, an ingredient made 

by a plant naturally (by photosynthesis and cell division) 

cannot be compared with a by-product of an industrial 

process. 

All artificial ingredients used in processed foods have a 

designated “purity level.” This means that there still 

remains a percentage of intermediates and impurities that 



have not been eliminated. Still, the Codex allows 

companies to designate them as “food grade.” The 

possibility that these foods can cause a variety of health 

problems is almost always ignored, as everyone from the 

local government authorities to the United Nations are 

complicit in this mass poisoning.

Governments say war is policy by other means. Terrorists 

think theirs is a war by other means. However it may be, 

waging war requires a great deal of resources - money, 

logistics, planning, manpower, training, infrastructure, and 

most importantly technical expertise. All of that can only 

be provided by a government. Without a state actor, a 

terrorist organization cannot exist for long. Quiet often, 

terrorist organisations are supported by intelligence 

agencies of the very governments that they are supposedly 

fighting against.* 

Security agencies put a protective cover on terrorists so 

that busybodies from the local police do not make any 

arrests. Government agents overtly or covertly help 

terrorist organisations do liaison work, deliver arms and 

ammunition, secure hideouts, and conceal their identities. 

Arms merchants do not take credit. Everything has to be 

paid for in cash. Terrorists do not carry cash in suitcases 

or hide it in their sofa. Islamic terrorists move money all 

around the world with the help of Jewish-owned or Jewishrun 

banks. Indian Maoists extort thousands of crores of 

rupees each year and keep it in government-owned banks. 

No accounts are ever frozen. Money is stolen from these 

accounts inevitably but nobody complains. Everyone wins! 



The foot soldiers of terrorist movements themselves come 

from very poor backgrounds. Almost all of them work for 

money or for the promise of money. In many cases, the 

terrorist organisation is the only good employer around. 

Terrorist organizations do raise some of their finances 

through front organizations acting as charities. Their 

accounts too are “protected.” Governments act only after 

a “terrorist act” has been committed. They then arrest 

some low-ranking operatives or blame it on some innocent 

suspects. In India, if a top-level terrorist is arrested (share 

disputes lead to betrayal), government immediately starts 

“peace negotiations.” Many terrorists have become Chief 

Ministers of states. 

Sometimes, government agencies themselves commit 

terrorist acts and then plant evidence so that it can be 

blamed on terrorists. 

� When the Purulia arms drop became public, it was revealed that operatives of 

nearly half-dozen countries were involved. A British arms merchant who was 

caught revealed that British intelligence agencies were in the know. British 

government then claimed that they had informed the Indian spy agency R&AW. 

R&AW claimed that they had indeed passed on the information to concerned 

authorities but the mail got delayed! Many of those arrested were pardoned and 

allowed to go back. The main kingpin was allowed to escape from the airport 

after the plan was grounded by the Indian Air Force. 

� In the investigation of the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Bombay, it was revealed 

that an American spy of Pakistani origin, working as an agent for Drug 

Enforcement Agency of the US and also for the Pakistani ISI, had staked out in 

the city and selected the sites for the attack. His wife had informed the 

authorities of his involvement but the US authorities took no action. The US 

government has also refused to hand him over to Indian authorities. Also, it took 



Indian special forces nearly two days to materialize at the attack site. They 

blamed unavailability of aircraft as the reason for the delay. Making it even more 

sinister was the kidnapping/secret flight of a woman who claimed that she had 

witnessed the terrorist embarking at the beach. She claimed that a bunch of 

American officials showed up at her door, took her to the airport, and flew her 

directly to the US. There, she was completely debriefed and then flown back to 

India. She also claimed that neither the Americans nor her had to pass through 

customs. To top it all, the Supreme Court ruled that special forces who took 

part in that belatedly killed the terrorists could not be investigated.

models are not practising science but are dabbling 

pseudo-scientific quackery. 

3. Many of the remedies suggested for “rolling back” 

Climate Change will have zero impact on climate. 



The proponents of these measures have OTHER 

MOTIVES and they cannot explain how the changes 

they are suggesting will roll back climate change. 

4. Climate change is overwhelmingly influenced by 

celestial bodies such as the Sun and the Moon, and 

more importantly time spanning billions of years. 

It is not that Man's activities do not have a global 

impact - man-made pesticides have been found in 

body tissues of animals living in the Antarctic. The 

destruction of our environment does threaten the 

future of humans and many other species BUT IT 

DOES NOT AFFECT CLIMATE. Climate is much 

bigger and it takes thousands of years to notice 



change. Landscapes may change much faster than 

climate. To cite that as evidence is outright lying, 

meant solely to deceive the naïve and gullible.

businesses, particularly Big Oil, were being harassed 

by environmentalists and responsible citizens about 

the dangers of pollution and environmental damage. 

“Climate Change” allows them to turn the tables on 

the slaves. Climate Change distracts the debate and 

keeps the busybodies with with something that will 

only increase corporate profits. 

4. Fascist State: This is the wet dream of many 

proponents of the Rothschild World Government. 

Climate Change propaganda makes people think that 

they are the guilty party and that each one of them 



needs to make personal sacrifices to remedy the 

situation. Without the slaves realising it, they can 

sneak in a police state and an eventual Fascist-style 

dictatorship without resorting to force. The people 

themselves will demand that it be imposed on them. 

They will voluntarily give up their rights and

Although the power of propaganda has been realized for 

centuries, it was in America that its full potential was 



realized and put to test. In 1938, Orson Welles unleashed 

a propaganda campaign about a “mass hysteria” caused by 

radio broadcasts of HG Wells' novel "War Of The 

Worlds." People who heard the broadcast knew that it 

was from the novel. Although some rumours spread 

quickly and frantic calls were made to news organizations, 

there was really no mass hysteria. Even the Press learned 

about the hysteria from Orson Welles at his press 

conference. And, the hoax transformed itself as fact and 

now it is part of "history." 

Orson Welles' stunt was not the first of its kind nor the 

last. There are countless myths big and small that have 

been embedded into our collective consciousness. In fact, 

we are being buffeted by myths every day. 

In his 1928 book Icarus or the Fall of Science, Bertrand 

Russell (a Rothschild apologist for totalitarianism) noted 

that: 

… The effects of psychology on practical life may 

in time become very great. Already advertisers in 



America employ eminent psychologists to instruct 

them in the technique of producing irrational 

belief; such men may, when they have grown more 

proficient, be very useful in persuading the 

democracy that governments are wise and good... 

In 1938, Adolf Hitler, who was financed by Wall Street 

bankers, explains exactly how propaganda works in his 

book in Mein Kampf : 

… in the big lie there is always a certain force of 

credibility; because the broad masses of a nation 

are always more easily corrupted in the deeper 

strata of their emotional nature than consciously 

or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive 

simplicity of their minds they more readily 

fall victims to the big lie than the small 

lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in 

little matters but would be ashamed to resort to 

large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into 

their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they 

would not believe that others could have the 

impudence to distort the truth so infamously.

seasons, or exchange it with other farmers. GMO 

seeds sold to farmers are not GMO mother seeds 

but hybrid seeds (made by crossing GMO mother 

seeds and regular seeds). These hybrid seeds lose 

their vigor if carried over several generations. 

Worse, the seeds are designed to fail to 

germinate after a few generations. This means 

that the farmers has to go back to the GMO 

seed company each planting season for a fresh 

set of “expensive” seeds. When farmers lose their 

stocks of regular germinating heirloom seeds, 

they become “hooked.” 

3. GMO seeds threatens the availability of 

traditional seeds (“heirloom” seeds) that have 

been in the custody of farmers for millenia. Non- 

GMO fields are at risk of unintentional cross- 



fertilization from nearby GMO fields. Amazingly, 

instead of getting sued for threatening the stocks 

of heirloom seeds, GMO companies sue farmers 

whose fields had become cross-pollinated, 

accusing them of being “freeloaders.” Farmers 

whose crop has been contaminated by GMO can 

be accused of fraud by traders and trade 

authorities. 

4. Some GMO crops are specifically derived to 

survive the effect of proprietary weedicides* sold 

by the same GMO company. Thus, the farmer 

has limited options in the choice of seeds or 

weedicides. 

5. Weedicides supplied by GMO companies are 

known to be toxic to humans. Yet, regulatory 

agencies and lawmakers have refused to take any 

action. 

6. Weedicides supplied by GMO companies have 

caused the appearance of “super-weeds.” So, 

more toxic weedicides are in the offing. 

7. Even before GMO, merger and acquisitions in the 

seed industry had concentrated the control of the 

market in the hands of a few companies. With 

GMO, their stranglehold on human food supply 

has grown even more stronger. They are now 

able to literally shove their “Franken” foods 



products down the throats of farmers and 

consumers. 

8. GMO, by their very nature, are unnatural. Many 

GMO foods have genetic material borrowed from 

other organisms, often crossing several 

taxonomical boundaries. For example, genetical 

material from round worm is being inserted into 

lamb meant for human consumption. Human 

genes are being inserted in rice. Many GMO 

varieties have genetic material designed to 

produce toxins. Although these toxins are 

targeted at traditional pests affecting the plants, 

humans will also have to consume these toxins. 

9. Toxological effects of GMO foods are either not 

performed or glossed over by manufacturers and 

regulatory agencies. Front companies † are used as 

special-purpose vechicles to test safety of GMO 

varieties. These companies are almost always 

funded by governments. If a scandal breaks out, 

governments are left to fight the battle. If 

nothing negative leaks out, the front company 

and the IP is bought over by a GMO giant. 

10. GMO companies bribe/threaten lawmakers. They 

also threaten/sue farmers who are not playing by 

their rules. 



11. Despite all the “great benefits” touted for GMO, 

no GMO varieties are allowed to be stored in the 

inaccessible seed vaults that the Rothschilds and 

their stooges have built using their private 

foundations. 

12. Even the Rothschilds' stooges in China* will not

From ancient times, ordinary Jews have done exactly what

For example, when the Rothschilds decided that Palestine 

would be the new home of Jews,* most Jews living in 

Europe refused to take the bait. Enraged, the Rothschilds 

financed the political takeover of Germany by a part-Jew 

named Hitler.* Hitler made life extremely difficult for Jews 

living in Germany. Many German Jews wanted to emigrate 

to America and other European countries. Unfortunately, 

all of these countries closed their borders, thanks to 

lobbying by overactive Jewish organizations. When German 

Jews left on foot and took refuge in other European 

countries, Hitler started World War II and occupied many 

of these countries. Jews were caught and brought back to 

Germany. The best among them – fit and young – were 

shipped to Israel. The rest toiled away in concentration 

camps. In the fag end of the war, the continuous aerial 

bombardment of Germany for days on end left the 

concentration camps devoid of food, water, medicine and 

other necessities. Hunger and disease took its toll. 

Although a high number of 4 million Jewish casualties was 

revised downwards, it is undeniable that Jews also suffered 

in the war sponsored by the top leaders of their 


community. 


In Communist Russia under Stalin, the top leadership was 

almost entirely made up of Jews. Their reign of terror left 

almost 60 million ethnic Christians dead. To make things 

even, large numbers of Jews were also shipped to the 

Russian gulags and worked to death. 

Jews have been sacrificed when there is a blowback or in 

anticipation of it. Most often, the blowback is sponsored 

by the same Jewish criminal elite, for they have a freakish 

determination to control both sides of a conflict. 

Inevitably, surviving Jews nurse a strong grudge against 

non-Jews. And, this sequence repeats itself in an endless 

pitiless self-reinforcing cycle. 

To really understand what puts people in trouble with the 

Jews, one must study the history of the Jewish people. 

As history is written by the victors, most of it is false. It is 

only by reading between the lines and from multiple 

sources that one can surmise a bare notion of what really 

happened. 

Upon their return from the Babylonian captivity, Jews 

began the long process of finishing up their holy books – 

the Torah and the Talmud. (While the Torah is 

considered as scripture by both Jews and Christians, the 

Talmud is used exclusively by the Jews.) The Talmud 

would prove most damaging to both Jews and non-Jews, 



as it put the interests of one in conflict with the other. 

Talmud divides humanity into two - Jews and non-Jews. 

Everything on earth is supposed to belong to Jews and 

non-Jews own nothing. Non-Jews are supposed to be 

worse than animals* and are meant to be exploited as 

slaves. Killing or harming non-Jews is condoned. Talmud 

also saw the practical side of things. It accepted that fact 

that non-Jews were in a majority and Jews did not hold 

the titles to everything. For this reason, it codified that if 

a Jew coveted the property of a non-Jew, then other Jews 

should not compete with him or go to the aid of the non- 

Jew. 

While this world-view fit perfectly with the original Jewish 

businesses of brigandry, kidnapping, slave trade and 

prostitution, it put them in direct conflict with non-Jews 

who were numerically superior, particularly when Jews 

moved out of Palestine and settled all over Mediterranean. 

While most Jews followed the Torah, Jewish priests or 

rabbis follow the Talmud. (It is Talmudism, not Judaism, 

that is the bane of humanity.) Wherever Jews live, the 

Jewish rabbis form an underground organization that 

controlled Jewish life. In Russia, it was supposed to be 

called as the kahal.* Under the orders of the kahal, Jews 

are forced to conspire with other Jews. Jewish 

businessmen would band together to eliminate non-Jewish 

competitors from all profitable trades. Jews would also be 



the first ones to introduce the native population to all 

kinds of vices such as the alcohol, prostitution, gambling, 

and usury. Jewish tended to follow a law unto themselves. 

Using bribery and intrigue, Jewish businessmen would 

extract special privileges that would exempt them from 

duties that would otherwise be extracted from ordinary 

citizens. In many places, governments tried to reform Jews 

and integrate them more closely with the rest. This did 

not work as the measures did not target the underground 

kahals. So, tougher measures followed. Jews would be 

prohibited from carrying out certain trades. When that 

failed, they would be evicted. 

Usually, the eviction was the immediate fallout of the 

discovery of a human sacrifice conducted by a handful 

Jews. Sometimes Jews in an entire country would be 

evicted. This was almost always welcomed by the local 

population because there was absolutely no sympathy left 

for the Jews. 

� After oil was discovered in the Middle East, the Rothschilds decided that they 

needed a solid military base nearby. They felt that a Jewish colony masquerading 

as a country would fit that purpose. 

� Even in the New Testament, Jews call non-Jews by various unsavoury names. 

� The existence of the Kahal as a state within a state was revealed by a Jewish 

convert to Christianity named Jacob Branfmann. His book in Russian is lost to 

history but it was extensively reviewed The Century magazine in 1881. The kahal 

was also mentioned in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Jewish organisations 

claim that the Protocols are a forgery by the Russian Tsarist police. Forgery or 

not, the accusations in the Protocols have proven to be not far from truth.

This book was written by Bertrand Russell in 1924 in 

response to a book by another Marxist, JBS Haldane. 

Anyone who wishes to understand the threat that the 

Rothschilds pose to humanity needs to read this, maybe 

several times to get its full meaning. 

I. Introduction 

Mr. Haldane's Daedalus has set forth an attractive 

picture of the future as it may become through the 

use of scientific discoveries to promote human 

happiness. Much as I should like to agree with his 

forecast, a long experience of statesmen and 

government has made me somewhat sceptical. I am 

compelled to fear that science will be used to 

promote the power of dominant groups, rather 

than to make men happy. Icarus, having been 

taught to fly by his father Daedalus, was destroyed 

by his rashness. I fear that the same fate may 

overtake the populations whom modern men of 

science have taught to fly. Some of the dangers 

inherent in the progress of science while we retain 

our present political and economic institutions are 

set forth in the following pages. This subject is so 

vast that it is 



impossible, within a limited space, to do more than 

outline some of its aspects. The world in which we 

live differs profoundly from that of Queen Anne's 

time, and this difference is mainly attributable to 

science. That is to say, the difference would be 

very much less than it is but for various scientific 

discoveries, but resulted from those discoveries by 

the operation of ordinary human nature. The 

changes that have been brought about have been 

partly good, partly bad; whether, in the end, 

science will prove to have been a blessing or a 

curse to mankind, is to my mind, still a doubtful 

question. 

A science may affect human life in two different 

ways. On the one hand, without altering men's 

passions or their general outlook, it may increase 

their power of gratifying their desires. On the 

other hand, it may operate through an effect upon 

the imaginative conception of the world, the 

theology or philosophy which is accepted in 

practice by energetic men. The latter is a 

fascinating study, but I shall almost wholly ignore 

it, in order to bring my subject within a 

manageable compass. I shall confine myself almost 

wholly to the effect of science in enabling us to 

gratify our passions more freely, which has 



hitherto been far the more important of the two. 

From our point of view, we may divide the 

sciences into three groups: physical, biological, and 

anthropological. In the physical group I include 

chemistry, and broadly speaking any science 

concerned with the properties of matter apart from 

life. In the anthropological group I include all 

studies especially concerned with man: human 

physiology and psychology (between which no sharp 

line can be drawn), anthropology, history, 

sociology, and economics. All these studies can be 

illuminated by considerations drawn from biology; 

for instance, Rivers threw a new light on parts of 

economics by adducing facts about landed property 

among birds during the breeding season. But in 

spite of their connection with biology --- a 

connection which is likely to grow closer as time 

goes on --- they are broadly distinguished from 

biology by their methods and data, and deserve to 

be grouped apart, at any rate in a sociological 

inquiry. 

The effect of the biological sciences, so far, has 

been very small. No doubt Darwinism and the idea 

of evolution affected men's imaginative outlook; 

arguments were derived in favour of free 

competition, and also of nationalism. But these 

effects were of the sort that I propose not to 



consider. It is probable that great effects will come 

from these sciences sooner or later. Mendelism 

might have revolutionized agriculture, and no 

doubt some similar theory will do so sooner or 

later. Bacteriology may enable us to exterminate 

our enemies by disease. The study of heredity may 

in time make eugenics an exact science, and 

perhaps we shall in a later age be able to determine 

at will the sex of our children. This would probably 

lead to an excess of males, involving a complete 

change in family institutions. But these 

speculations belong to the future. I do not propose 

to deal with the possible future effects of biology, 

both because my knowledge of biology is very 

limited, and because the subject has been 

admirably treated by Mr. Haldane. 

The anthropological sciences are those from which, 

a priori, we might have expected the greatest social 

effects, but hitherto this has not proved to be the 

case, partly because these sciences are mostly still 

at an early stage of development. Even economics 

has not so far had much effect. Where it has 

seemed to have, this is because it advocated what 

was independently desired. Hitherto, the most 

effective of the anthropological sciences has been 

medicine, through its influence on sanitation and 



public health, and through the fact that it has 

discovered how to deal with malaria and yellow 

fever. Birth-control is also a very important social 

fact which comes into this category. But although 

the future effect of the anthropological sciences (to 

which I shall return presently) is illimitable, the 

effect up to the present has been confined within 

fairly narrow limits. One general observation to 

begin with. Science has increased man's control 

over nature, and might therefore be supposed likely 

to increase his happiness and well-being. This 

would be the case if men were rational, but in fact 

they are bundles of passions and instincts. An 

animal species in a stable environment, if it does 

not die out, acquires an equilibrium between its 

passions and the conditions of its life. If the 

conditions are suddenly altered, the equilibrium is 

upset. Wolves in a state of nature have difficulty in 

getting food, and therefore need the stimulus of a 

very insistent hunger. The result is that their 

descendants, domestic dogs, over-eat if they are 

allowed to do so. When a certain amount of 

something is useful, and the difficulty of obtaining 

it is diminished, instinct will usually lead an 

animal to excess in the new circumstances. The 

sudden change produced by science has upset the 

balance between our instincts and our 



circumstances, but in directions not sufficiently 

noted. Over-eating is not a serious danger, but 

over-fighting is. The human instincts of power and 

rivalry, like the dog's wolfish appetite will need to 

be artificially curbed, if industrialism is to succeed 

II. Effects of the Physical Sciences 

Much the greatest part of the changes which 

science has made in social life is due to the 

physical sciences, as is evident when we consider 

that they brought about the industrial revolution. 

This is a trite topic, about which I shall say as 

little as my subject permits. There are, however, 

some points which must be made. 

First, industrialism still has great parts of the 

earth's surface to conquer. Russia and India are 

very imperfectly industrialized; China hardly at all. 

In South America there is room for immense 

development. One of the effects of industrialism is 

to make the world an economic unit: its ultimate 

consequences will be very largely due to this fact. 

But before the world can be effectively organized as 

a unit, it will probably be necessary to develop 

industrially all the regions capable of development 

that are at present backward. The effects of 

industrialism change as it becomes more widespread; 

this must be remembered in any attempt to 


argue from its past to its future. 


The second point about industrialism is that it 

increases the productivity of labour, and thus 

makes more luxuries possible. At first, in England, 

the chief luxury achieved was a larger population 

with an actual lowering of the standard of life. 

Then came a golden age when wages increased, 

hours of labour diminished, and simultaneously the 

middle-class grew more prosperous. That was while 

Great Britain was still supreme. With the growth 

of foreign industrialism, a new epoch began. 

Industrial organizations have seldom succeeded in 

becoming world-wide, and have consequently 

become national. Competition, formerly between 

individual firms, is now mainly between nations, 

and is therefore conducted by methods quite 

different from those contemplated by the classical 

economists. Modern industrialism is a struggle 

between nations for two things, markets and raw 

materials, as well as for the sheer pleasure of 

domination. The labour which is set free from 

providing the necessaries of life tends to be more 

and more absorbed by national rivalry. There are 

first the armed forces of the State; then those who 

provide munitions of war, from the raw minerals 

up to the finished product; then the diplomatic and 

consular services; then the teachers of patriotism 



in schools; then the Press. All of these perform 

other functions as well, but the chief purpose is to 

minister to international competition. As another 

class whose labours are devoted to the same end, 

we must add a considerable proportion of the men 

of science. These men invent continually more 

elaborate methods of attack and defence. The net 

result of their labours is to diminish the proportion 

of the population that can be put into the fighting 

line, since more are required for munitions. This 

might seem a boon, but in fact war is now-a-days 

primarily against the civilian population, and in a 

defeated country they are liable to suffer just as 

much as the soldiers. 

It is science above all that has determined the 

importance of raw materials in international 

competition. Coal and iron and oil, especially, are 

the bases of power, and thence of wealth. The 

nation which possesses them, and has the 

industrial skill required to utilize them in war, can 

acquire markets by armed force, and levy tribute 

upon less fortunate nations. Economists have 

underestimated the part played by military prowess 

in the acquisition of wealth. The landed 

aristocracies of Europe were, in origin, warlike 

invaders. Their defeat by the bourgeoisie in the 



French Revolution, and the fear which this 

generated in the Duke of Wellington, facilitated the 

rise of the middle class. 

The wars of the eighteenth century decided that 

England was to be richer than France. The 

traditional economist's rules for the distribution of 

wealth hold only when men's actions are governed 

by law, i. e. when most people think the issue 

unimportant. The issues that people have 

considered vital have been decided by civil war or 

wars between nations. And for the present, owing 

to science, the art of war consists in possessing 

coal, iron, oil, and the industrial skill to work 

them. For the sake of simplicity, I omit other raw 

materials, since they do not affect the essence of 

our problem. 

We may say, therefore, speaking very generally, 

that men have used the increased productivity 

which they owe to science for three chief purposes 

in succession: first, to increase the population; 

then, to raise the standard of comfort; and, finally, 

to provide more energy to war. This last result has 

been chiefly brought about by competition for 

markets, which led to competition for raw 

materials, especially the raw materials of 

munitions. 



III. The Increase of Organization 

The stimulation of nationalism which has taken 

place in modern times is, however, due very largely 

to another factor, namely the increase of 

organization, which is of the very essence of 

industrialism. Wherever expensive fixed capital is 

required, organization, on a large scale is of 

course necessary. In view of the economies of large 

scale production, organization in marketing also 

becomes of great importance. For some purposes, 

if not for all, many industries come to be 

organized nationally, so as to be in effect one 

business in each nation. 

Science has not only brought about the need for 

large organizations, but also the technical 

possibility of their existence. Without railways, 

telegraphs and telephones, control from a centre is 

very difficult. In ancient empires, and in China 

down to modern times, provinces were governed by 

practically independent satraps or proconsuls, who 

were appointed by the central government, but 

decided almost all questions on their own 

initiative. If they displeased the sovereign, they 

could only be controlled by civil war, of which the 

issue was doubtful. Until the invention of the 

telegraph, ambassadors had a great measure of 



independence, since it was often necessary to act 

without waiting for orders from home. What 

applied in politics applied also in business: an 

organization controlled from the centre had to be 

very loosely knit, and to allow much autonomy to 

subordinates. Opinion as well as action was 

difficult to mould from a centre, and local 

variations marred the uniformity of party creeds. 

Now-a-days all this is changed. Telegraph, 

telephone, and wireless make it easy to transmit 

orders from a centre: railways and steamers make 

it easy to transport troops in case the orders are 

disobeyed. Modern methods of printing and 

advertising make it enormously cheaper to produce 

and distribute one newspaper with a large 

circulation than many with small circulations; 

consequently, in so far as the Press controls 

opinion, there is uniformity, and, in particular, 

there is uniformity of news. Elementary education, 

except in so far as religious denominations 

introduce variety, is conducted on a uniform 

pattern decided by the State, by means of teachers 

whom the State has trained, as far as possible, to 

imitate the regularity and mutual similarity of 

machines produced to standard. Thus the material 

and psychological conditions for a great intensity 

of organization have increased pari passu, but the 



basis of the whole development is scientific 

invention in the purely physical realm. Increased 

productivity has played its part, by making it 

possible to set apart more labour for propaganda, 

under which head are to be included advertisement, 

the cinema, the Press, education, politics, and 

religion. Broadcasting is a new method likely to 

acquire great potency as soon as people are 

satisfied that it is not a method of propaganda. 

Political controversies, as Mr. Graham Wallas has 

pointed out, ought to be conducted in quantitative 

terms. If sociology were one of the sciences that 

had affected social institutions (which it is not), 

this would be the case. The dispute between 

anarchism and bureaucracy at present tends to 

take the form of one side maintain that we want 

no organization, while the other maintains that we 

want as much as possible. A person imbued with 

the scientific spirit would hardly even examine 

these extreme positions. Some people think that we 

keep our rooms too hot for health, others that we 

keep them too cold. If this were a political 

question, one party would maintain that the best 

temperature is the absolute zero, the other that it 

is the melting point of iron. Those who maintained 

any intermediate position would be abused as 



timorous time-servers, concealed agents of the 

other side, men who ruined the enthusiasm of a 

sacred cause by tepid appeals to mere reason. Any 

man who had the courage to say that our rooms 

ought to be neither very hot nor very cold would be 

abused by both parties, and probably shot in No 

Man's Land. Possibly some day politics may 

become more rational, but so far there is not the 

faintest indication of a change in this direction. 

To a rational mind, the question is not: Do we 

want organization or do we not? The question is: 

How much organization do we want, and where 

and when and of what kind? In spite of a 

temperamental leaning to anarchism, I am 

persuaded that an industrial world cannot 

maintain itself against internal disruptive forces 

without a great deal more organization than we 

have at present. It is not the amount of 

organization, buts its kind and its purpose, that 

causes our troubles. But before tackling this 

question, let us pause for a moment to ask 

ourselves what is the measure of the intensity of 

organization in a given community. A man's acts 

are partly determined by spontaneous impulse, 

partly by the conscious or unconscious effects of 

the various groups to which he belongs. A man who 

works (say) on a railway or in a mine, is, in his 



working hours almost entirely determined in his 

actions by those who direct the collective labour of 

which he forms part. If he decides to strike, his 

action is again not individual, but determined by 

his Union. When he votes for Parliament, party 

caucuses have limited his choice to one of two or 

three men, and party propaganda has induced him 

to accept in toto one of two or three blocks of 

opinions which form the rival party programmes. 

His choice between the parties may be individual, 

but it may also be determined by the action of 

some group, such as a trade union, which 

collectively supports one party. His newspaperreading 

exposes him to great organized forces; so 

does the cinema, if he goes to it. His choice of a 

wife is probably spontaneous, except that he must 

choose a woman of his own class. But in the 

education of his children he is almost entirely 

powerless: they must have the education which is 

provided. Organization thus determines many vital 

things in his life. Compare him to a 

handicraftsman or peasant-proprietor who cannot 

read and does not have his children educated, and 

it becomes clear what is meant by saying that 

industrialism has increased the intensity of 

organization. To defines this term we must, I 

think, exclude the unconscious effects of groups, 



except as causes facilitating the conscious effects. 

We may define the intensity of organization to 

which a given individual is subject as the 

proportion of his acts which is determined by the 

orders or advice of some group, expressed through 

democratic decisions or executive officers. The 

intensity of organization in a community may then 

be defined as the average intensity for its several 

members. The intensity of organization is 

increased not only when a man belongs to more 

organizations, but also when the organizations to 

which he already belongs play a larger part in his 

life, as, for example, the State plays a larger part 

in war than in peace. 

Another matter which needs to be treated 

quantitatively is the degree of democracy, 

oligarchy, or monarchy in an organization. No 

organization belongs completely to any one of the 

three types. There must be executive officers, who 

will often in practice be able to decide policy, even 

if in theory they cannot do so. And even if their 

power depends upon persuasion, they may so 

completely control the relevant publicity that they 

can always rely upon a majority. The directors of 

a railway company, for instance, are to all intents 

and purposes uncontrolled by the shareholders, who 

have no adequate means of organizing an 



opposition if they should wish to do so. In 

America, a railroad president is almost a 

monarch. In party politics, the power of leaders, 

although it depends upon persuasion, continually 

increases as printed propaganda becomes more 

important. For these reasons, even where formal 

democracy increases, the real degree of democratic 

control tends to diminish, except on a few 

questions which rouse strong popular passions. The 

result of these causes is that, in consequence of 

scientific inventions which facilitate centralization 

and propaganda, groups become more organized, 

more disciplined, more group-conscious and more 

docile to leaders. The effect of leaders on followers 

is increased, and the control of events by a few 

prominent personalities becomes more marked. 

In all this there would be nothing very tragic, but 

for the fact, with which science has nothing to do, 

that organization is almost wholly national. If men 

were actuated by the love of gain, as the older 

economists supposed, this would not be the case; 

the same causes which have led to national trusts 

would have led to international trusts. This has 

happened in a few instances, but not on a 

sufficiently wide scale to affect politics or 

economics very vitally. Rivalry is, with most well- 



to-do energetic people, a stronger motive than love 

of money. Successful rivalry requires organization 

of rival forces; the tendency is for a business such 

as oil, for example, to organize itself into two rival 

groups, between them covering the world. They 

might, of course, combine, and they would no 

doubt increase their wealth if they did so. But 

combination would take the zest out of life. The 

object of a football team, one might say, is to kick 

goals. If two rival teams combined, and kicked the 

ball alternately over the two goals, many more 

goals would be scored. Nevertheless no one suggest 

that this should be done, the object of a football 

team being not to kick goals but to win. So the 

object of a big business is not to make money, but 

to win in the contest with some other business. If 

there were no other business to be defeated, the 

whole thing would become uninteresting. This 

rivalry has attached itself to nationalism, and 

enlisted the support of the ordinary citizens of the 

countries concerned; they seldom know what it is 

that they are supporting, but, like the spectators at 

a football-match, they grow enthusiastic for their 

own side. The harm that is being done by science 

and industrialism is almost wholly due to the fact 

that, while they have proved strong enough to 

produce a national organization of economic 



forces, they have not proved strong enough to 

produce an international organization. It is clear 

that political internationalism such as the League 

of Nations was supposed to inaugurate, will never 

be successful until we have economic 

internationalism, which would require, as a 

minimum, an agreement between various national 

organizations dividing among them the raw 

material and markets of the world. This, however, 

can hardly be brought about while big business is 

controlled by men who are so rich as to have 

grown indifferent to money, and to be willing to 

risk enormous losses for the pleasure of rivalry. 

The increase of organization in the modern world 

has made the ideals of liberalism wholly 

inapplicable. Liberalism, from Monteqsuieu to 

President Wilson, was based upon the assumption 

of a number of more or less equal individuals or 

groups, with no differences so vital that they were 

willing to die sooner than compromise. It was 

supposed that there was to be free competition 

between individuals and between ideas. Experience 

has shown, however, that the existing economic 

system is incompatible with all forms of free 

competition except between States by means of 

armaments. I should wish, for my part, to preserve 



free competition between ideas, though not between 

individuals and groups, but this is only possible by 

means of what an old-fashioned liberal would 

regard as interferences with personal liberty. So 

long as the sources of economic power remain in 

private hands, there will be no liberty except for 

the few who control those sources. Such liberal 

ideals as free trade, free press, unbiased educated, 

either already belong to the past or soon will do so. 

One of the triumphs of early liberalism in England 

was the establishment of parliamentary control of 

the army; this was the casus belli in the Civil War, 

and was decided by the Revolution of 1688. It was 

effective so long as Parliament represented the 

same class from which army officers were drawn. 

This was still the case with the late Parliament, 

but may cease to be the case with the advent of a 

Labour Government. Russia, Hungary, Italy, Spain 

and Bavaria have shown in recent years how frail 

democracy has become; east of the Rhine it lingers 

only in outlying regions. Constitutional control 

over armaments must, therefore, be regarded as 

another liberal principle which is rapidly becoming 

obsolete. It would seem probable that, in the next 

fifty years or so, we shall see a still further 

increase in the power of governments, and a 

tendency for governments to be such as are desired 



by the men who control armaments and raw 

materials. The forms of democracy may survive in 

western countries, since those who possess military 

and economic power can control education and the 

press, and therefore can usually secure a 

subservient democracy. Rival economic groups will 

presumably remain associated with rival nations, 

and will foster nationalism in order to recruit their 

football teams. 

There is, however, a hopeful element in the 

problem. The planet is of finite size, but the most 

efficient size for an organization is continually 

increased by new scientific inventions. The world 

becomes more and more of an economic unity. 

Before very long the technical conditions will exist 

for organizing the whole world as one producing 

and consuming unit. If, when that time comes, two 

rival groups contend for mastery, the victor may 

be able to introduce that single world-wide 

organization that is needed to prevent the mutual 

extermination of civilized nations. The world which 

would result would be, at first, very different from 

the dreams of either liberals or socialists; but it 

might grow less different with the lapse of time. 

There would be at first economic and political 

tyranny of the victors, a dread of renewed 



upheavals, and therefore a drastic suppression of 

liberty. But if the first half-dozen revolts were 

successfully repressed, the vanquished would give 

up hope, and accept the subordinate place assigned 

to them by the victors in the great world-trust. As 

soon as the holders of power felt secure, they 

would grow less tyrannical and less energetic. The 

motive of rivalry being removed, they would not 

work so hard as they do now, and would soon 

cease to exact such hard work from their 

subordinates. Life at first might be unpleasant, but 

it would at least be possible, which would be 

enough to recommend the system after a long 

period of warfare. Given a stable worldorganization, 

economic and political, even if, at 

first, it rested upon nothing but armed force, the 

evils which now threaten civilization would 

gradually diminish, and a more thorough 

democracy than that which now exists might 

become possible. I believe that, owing to men's 

folly, a world-government will only be established 

by force, and therefore be at first cruel and 

despotic. But I believe that it is necessary for the 

preservation of a scientific civilization, and that, if 

once realized, it will gradually give rise to the 

other conditions of a tolerable existence. 

What Bertrand Russell fails to mention that nations go 



to war because of the Rothschilds. Without the 

Rothschilds, there would be no wars and there would be 

no need for world government. He also does not provide 

any reason why the dictatorship will become less cruel 

and despotic after it gets established.

Cells are the fundamental components of living organisms. 

In other words, all living organisms are made up of cells - 

plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, seeds and pollens – 

anything living. 

All parts of our body are made up of cells. Even what 

appears rock hard like our bones and totally dead like our 

hair are made up of cells. Bone cells have a cell wall made 

up of calcium- and phosphorus-based compounds, which 

makes bones hard. Hair is the dead end of a stream of 

cells produced by the hair follicle cells. 

Some cells in the air passage secrete mucus to catch dust. 



Others in the food pipe do the same to let food material 

move smoothly down the gullet. Salivary gland cells in the 

mouth secrete saliva. Liver cells secrete bile. Nerve cells 

(neurons) manufacture neurotransmitters that conduct 

electrical signals. 

In plants, cells perform similar functions – absorb water 

and nutrients from the soil, synthesize chlorophyll, trap 

sunlight and create food in seeds and spores. Walls of 

plant cells may be made up of cellulose fibres, which adds 

to their bulk and strength. 

All cells have a basic structure. A typical cell is made up 

of: 

1. Cell wall – encloses the cell; provides it a shape; 

separates it from other cells and the environment 

2. Plasma membrane – layer below the cell wall; acts 

as a gateway to material transport in and out of the 

cell 

3. Cytoplasm – jelly-like semi-fluid containing other cell 

components or organelles, namely: 

a) Nucleus – contains hereditary code of life in 

the form of chromosomes or bundles of 

extremely long intertwined strands of 

dioxyribonucleic acid (DNA) 

b) Mitochondria – acts as the power house of a 



cell - processes food and synthesizes adenine 

triphosphate (ATP), the energy molecule; also 

carries genetic material known as 

mitochondrial DNA 

c) Endoplasmic reticulum – contains free strands 

of genetic material known as RNA, which 

synthesizes proteins (building block) and lipids 

(energy stores) 

d) Golgi apparatus – packages proteins and lipids 

synthesized by endoplasmic reticulum and 

dispatches them to other organelles 

e) Lysosome – recycles various substances to 

very basic basic components; also exports 

waste products to outside the cell; also 

involved in cell death in some special cases. 

The nucleus is the main part of a cell. It contains long 

strands of DNA, organised as chromosomes. Each cell 

has a full set of chromosomes required for the function 

of any cell in the organism. However, only those 

functions that are relevant for the cell will be expressed 

or activated in a cell. For example, in a plant, the DNA 

function for photosynthesis would be inhibited in root 

cells in the roots but expressed in leaf cells. 

At the beginning of life, an organism starts from a single 

cell. As it divides into several cells (within that 



organism), cells undergo a process known as cell 

differentiation. This allows the organism to grow 

specialized organs or tissues. 

� Cells are not the same as atoms and molecules. Atoms are the fundamental 

units of all matter, living and non-living. There are many different types of 

atoms. In the “Periodic Table,” atoms are classified by their “atomic weight” into 

several “elements.” All elements in this table (except for those in the last 

column) are by nature unstable. As nature abhors unstable forms, atoms 

combine with other atoms to form more stable forms – known as molecules. 

Molecules may in turn react with other unstable atoms and molecules to create 

more molecules and unstable atoms.... For example, two unstable hydrogen 

atoms or ions (H + ) can combine to form a stable hydrogen molecule (H2). Two 

hydrogen ions (H + ) can combine with a single oxygen ion (O 2- ) to form a single 

stable water molecule (H20). A common salt molecule (NaCl) is made up of a 

sodium ion (Na + ) and a chlorine ion (Cl - ). A common alcohol molecule (ethanol) 

is created by the combination of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen ions - C2H5OH. 

And, that means cells are also made up of atoms and molecules. A cell of a 

living organism is made up of hundreds of thousands of molecules of different 

types. Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and sulphur 

represent the majority of elements that make up cells. 

Cell size can range from very small to very big. The TB bacterium is around 2 to 

4 micrometers in size. (As 1 micrometer is 1/10,000 th of a centimetre, you could 

theoretically fit 5000 bacterium end-to-end in 1 cm.) And, there are nerve cells 

in body that start from the brain, run down the spine and branch all across our 

body. These cells can be measured in feet. In sharp contrast, atoms are 

measured in pico meters (pm). The water molecule is over 232 pm. A rough 

calculation indicates that you could fit nearly 4300 million water molecules endto-end 

in 1 cm. 

Some cells are characterized by the presence of certain elements. For example, 

central atom of a food-synthesizing molecule is magnesium. Magnesium is 

naturally green in colour and that is why plants have a green colour. Red blood 

cells carry haemoglobin molecule. Iron is the main atom in the haemoglobin 

molecule. Bones are hard because bone cells have a cell wall made up of calcium 

and phosphorus compounds. 



Certain molecules such as those of water, carbohydrate, fatty acids, and amino 

acids are required to sustain life. Carbohydrates and fatty acids are energy-giving 

compounds are are mostly carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Amino acids or 

proteins have nitrogen and sulphur in addition to carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. 

Although proteins are mostly building-block compounds, some proteins perform 

specialized functions in the form of enzymes (catalysts in biochemical reactions), 

hormones, vitamins, etc.

When reading history, keep in mind these three maxims:

• History is written by the victors. (Now, you know 

why.) 

There was a cartoon several years ago (I forget where I 

saw it) in which a team of archaeologists (in the future) 

find a buried office floor (from the present) filled with 

cubicles and computers. They come to the conclusion that 

it “looks like an underground prison complex.” The cartoon 

typifies the incredulous stupidity with which historians see 

the past. Maybe it is deliberate. 

Western historians theorise that Aryans were Europeans 

who had settled in India. Indians find this theory 

preposterous and counter-claim that Westerners were still 

swinging from tree branches like monkeys millennia after 

Indian subcontinent became a flourishing civilization. 

After reading a lot of books and making my own 



deductions, I have come to believe that human civilizations 

are much older than what historians would give credit for. 

I also believe that Western civilizations were just as old as 

Indian civilizations. I also believe that civilizations were not 

isolated but where in confluence with each other. Idol 

worship and popular Indian deities where not just limited 

to India but were found in many civilizations all over the 

world. Indians worshipped the sun, the moon, and so did 

many others. The Indian pantheon was headed a creator, 

protector, and destroyer, as did many others. The story of 

Krishna, in its early stages, resembles that of Jesus Christ 

and many other deities in the Levant. The druids of Celtic 

Europe seem to have a strange kinship with Brahmins of 

India. Rome had temples with idols attended by men 

explicitly identified as “Brahmins!” A man who led a mob 

of Christians to demolish these temples had been made a 



saint. Just take a look at the photographs of the Egyptian 

Ra god and the Indian Vishnu avtar of Varaha....

Outside the Roman empire, Europe was populated by 

Germanic tribes, who were identified by the Germanic 

languages they used. Germanic tribes were supposed to 

have originated in lower Scandinavia and northern-most 

Germany between 1700 and 1200 BCE. From there, they 

spread all around Europe, from the Portugal to Russia. 

Germanic tribes clashed with Roman empire in 2 nd century 

BCE. Germanic soldiers eventually entered the the Roman 

army in large numbers. Germanic tribes such as Anglo- 

Saxons, Burgundians, Goths, Vandals, Visigoths, and 

Franks fought and divided Europe including what was left 

of the Roman empire (whose decline started in the 4 th 

century) among themselves. Germanic tribes were 

polytheistic and worshipped many pan-Germanic and local 

gods and goddesses. Odin, Thor, and Loki were among 

prominent Germanic deities. All Germanic people were 

eventually converted to Christianity. Christianity also 

ended the use of the Runic alphabet that the Germanic 

people used. In some places, Germanic languages gave way 

for Latin and Slavic dialects.

The Jewish People 

Jews today trace their history to the Palestinian settlers 

from Antiquity. They base this history from the dramatic 

tales narrated in the Hebrew Bible. Historians do not see 

the Hebrew Bible as reliable record. 

Early Jews in Palestine were an illiterate and primitive 

people, living far way from the the edges of civilizations. 

As the land was either hilly or desert, these people lived 

mostly by herding sheep and donkeys. They did not call 

themselves as Jews at the time. Racially, their stock was 

beefed up slaves and low-class folk coming from all over 

eastern Mediterranean, mostly from Egypt. In times of 

extreme drought, they moved closer to the Nile. Contrary 

to claims made in the books of the Bible, early Jews were 

not monotheistic. They had a mix of beliefs and traditions, 

mostly borrowed from their neighbours. Early Jews 

polytheistic idol-worshippers, just like the rest of the world 

at that time. They were also heavily into questionable 

sexual practices, human sacrifices and blood rituals. 

(Biblical references to burnt offerings, circumcision and 

vengeful gods relate back to those early beliefs.) A 

significant segment of the population lived on brigandry.* 

The Biblical tales of shepherds becoming military leaders 

are just rehashed versions of the exploits of highway 

robbers and kidnappers.* 



Located at the crossroads of great empires in Asia, Africa 

and Europe, Palestine found itself in the path of armies of 

great empires marching across to invade a neighbouring 

kingdoms. Enterprising Jews would follow these armies to 

pick up prisons of war. Thus, the economy of Jews was 

overwhelming based on assassination, robbery, slave 

trading and prostitution. This put early them in conflict 

with other settlers (such as the Philistines after whom 

Palestine is named) and neighbouring kingdoms. 

The Hebrew Bible considers this period as one of great 

glory and accomplishment. Religious scholars have dated 

various events in this period. Sometime in the 13 th century 

BCE, Jews were herded by the two-horned prophet Moses 

from Egypt en route to Palestine. Once in Palestine, they 

came into conflict with their predecessors. (Jews called 

these peoples as Canaanites and Philistines. Palestinian 

Arabs today say Canaanites/Philistines were their 

ancestors. 

Before Canaanites, the Akkadian empire flourished in this 

region.) The Jews were supposed to have been organised 

as 12 independent tribes who came together under King 

Saul. Saul and David after him defeated the 

Canaanites/Philistines in 1000 BCE. Solomon, originally a 

shepherd, became a king and presided over a period of 

great wealth and splendour. In 950 BCE, he built his 

namesake temple in Jerusalem. It was in Solomon's time 

that the oral traditions of the Jews involving Moses and 



the patriarchs (Saul, David, Solomon, etc.) were written 

down. (These writings have not survived – probably 

because Jews were still illiterate and the first five books of 

the Christian Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible or the 

Torah or the Pentateuch were written much later and 

backdated to claim an older origin.) Inscriptions dating 

back to 10 th century BCE have been claimed to support 

the theory that early Jews were literate. Some of these 

inscriptions are in Phoenician script ‡ . The few that are 

supposed to be in Hebrew are undecipherable for most 

Hebrew scholars. Some fanatics have found 3000-year-old 

Hebrew inscriptions even in the United States! † ) In 922 

BCE, ten tribes to the north rebelled and Jewish 

settlements were divided into two - Israel in the north and 

Judea in the south. In 721 BCE, the neighbouring 

Assyrian kingdom (Upper Tigris or northern Iraq), on their 

way to invade Egypt, destroyed Israel. Some Assyrian 

documents claim that 27,290 Israelis were carried off by 

the conquerors. These Jews eventually got assimilated 

among the inhabitants of Mesopotamia (eastern Syria, 

south-eastern Turkey, and most of Iraq). Jewish tradition 

claims these people as the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel. In 612 

BCE, Judah was destroyed by Babylonia (central and 

southern Iraq) as part of King Nebuchadnezzar takeover of 

Assyria. The Babylonians destroyed the (mythical/humble) 

Temple of Solomon and took prominent residents of 

Judah in chains to Babylonia. (In Babylonia, Jews came in 



contact with civilization proper for the first time. Although 

in captivity, many of them were given positions of 

importance and allowed to flourish. They also learned to 

write. They picked up religious beliefs and traditions of 

their hosts, which eventually found their way into the 

Hebrew Bible and into the other Jewish holy book - the 

Talmud. Monotheism started at this point but was 

backdated for convenience. Despite the emotional tales 

ruing their captivity (lasting just 48 years from 586 to 538 

BC), not all of them returned to Palestine when the 

Persian emperor Cyrus defeated the Babylonians in 539 

BCE and freed the Jews. Even as late as 5 th century, many 

of them were still “returning” to their homeland – led by 

Ezrah and Nehemiah. By then, the early returnees had 

built/rebuilt the Temple of Solomon (in 515 BC). For the 

next five centuries, the Jewish state remained unharmed 

by big-power machinations. 

Jews were still working on the their holy books – the 

Torah and the Talmud. Of the two, the Talmud would 

prove most damaging to all humanity. While both Jews 

and Christians consider the books of the Hebrew Bible as 

scripture, the Talmud is used exclusively by the Jews. The 

reason is that Talmud divides humanity into two – Jews 

and non-Jews. 

The Talmud decreed that Jews were the rightful 

owners of everything on earth and that non-Jews 



were in illegal possession of Jewish property. 

Thus, it absolved a Jew of any criminality if 

sought to “take back” possession of the property 

of non-Jews by cheating or by force. The Talmud 

also considers that non-Jews are worse than 

animals* and that they are meant to be exploited 

as slaves. It condones and even sanctifies 

killing/harming non-Jews. The Talmud saw the 

practical side of things too. It accepted the fact 

that Jews were a minority and did not hold real- 

world titles to others' property. For this reason, it 

codified that if a Jew coveted the property of a 

non-Jew, then other Jews should not compete 

with him or go to the aid of the non-Jew. (The 

Talmud also has many unsavoury things to say about 

Jesus Christ and rejects him as a prophet. Modern 

historians have spent a great deal of effort to show 

that Jesus Christ did not exist. They cite the lack of 

first-person accounts and the obvious forgeries made 

by the early leaders of the Catholic Church. The very 

fact that the Talmud mentions him in such terms is 

proof that he did exist and had a mass following. 

And, that is probably why they saw him as a threat 

and conspired to kill him.) 



In 332 BCE, Alexander and his army passed through 

Palestine, an event that goes unmentioned by the Jews. In 

323 BCE, Alexander died in Babylonia. His empire 

stretching from Greece to Afghanistan was divided up by 

his generals. Ptolemy I took control of Egypt and brought 

Palestine under his control in 301 BCE. Under Ptolemy 

and his Greek successors, the Hellenisation of Jews began. 

Greeks settled all over the Mediterranean including 

Palestine. At the same time Jews began moving out of 

Palestine and settled among Greek cities around the 

Mediterranean. As an expatriate community developed 

outside, priests at the Temple of Solomon grew rich by 

charging fees from the pilgrims. In 198 BCE, the Greek 

Selucids took over Palestine from Egypt. The Selucids 

attempts at rapid Hellenisation caused the Maccabean 

revolt and in 142 BCE Jews gained independence from the 

Selucids. 

In 63 BCE, Roman general Pompey, who was preparing to 

attack the Persians, sacked Jerusalem and claimed 

Palestine for Rome. In this attack, Pompey overcame the 

defences of the city and barged into the Temple of 

Solomon. In the sanctum santorum, accessible only once a 

year to the high priest, Pompey found only empty walls. 

There was nothing there. His curiousity satisfied, Pompey 

left. He also packed off thousands of Jews to Rome, 

where they joined an expatriate colony of Jews. Palestine 

would remain a Roman colony for the next 



four centuries. In 40 BC, the Romans put Herod as king of 

Judea. Herod ran into conflict with the Temple and the 

Sanhedrin (a governing body composed of priests, wealthy 

landowners and brigands). Herod had captured a band of 

thieves and executed its leader. This was the immediate 

provocation. Then in 40 BCE, Parthians (from Persia or 

Iran) invaded Judea. Herod, with Rome's help, retook 

Judea the next year and took Jerusalem in 37 BCE. Herod 

executed most of his enemies and confiscated their wealth. 

Under Herod, Palestine economy grew by leaps and 

bounds. Herod built numerous forts and palaces. His 

astute business dealings (what else – loans to 

neighbouring kingdoms) made Palestine phenomenally rich. 

In 20 BCE, Herod undertook rebuild the Temple of 

Solomon. Palestine was set on the road to becoming a 

true Roman province in Greek style. 

� Modern-day Bedouins are descendants of an ancient group of nomadic people 

who also supplemented their lifestyle with brigandry. However, they were 

nowhere near notorious as the Jews. Like early Jews, Bedouins practised sexual 

hospitality. Adoption of Islam greatly improved their morals. 

� Phoenicians were the first ones to invent the alphabet in the West. It had no 

vowels and was used mainly to record lists and figures. Jews adopted the 

Phoenician script for Hebrew.
