Dean, College of Dentistry
The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a Dean, College of Dentistry. Reporting to
the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean is the leader and chief academic
officer of the College and a member of the University’s senior leadership team. S/he is
accountable for strategic planning in the College in the context of the University of
Saskatchewan’s integrated plan and for ensuring the academic quality and integrity of
the College. The ideal candidate will be a dental practitioner, distinguished scholar
and educator, and eligible for tenured appointment at a senior rank. Demonstrated
success in developing a vision and leading people to achieve exemplary performance is
essential. S/he will display the energy and drive necessary to work with the faculty,
staff, and students to continue to build the College’s profile both internally and
externally.
