between Germany, Austria and Switzerland and can be reached from
north via Munich and the motorway A95 and B2 in appr. 1 hour or by
train in appr. 1 hour 30. From South take the Austrian motorway to
Innsbruch and then the B2 / E533 via Mittenwald.
Various bus routes and an excellent road network connect Garmisch-
Partenkirchen wih Tyrol, the Southern parts of Germany and the
Eastern Alps.
The airports Munich (125 km / 75 miles) , Innsbruck (55 km / 33 miles)
and Memmingen (128 km / 77 miles) can all be reached within 1 hour
to 1 hour 30 minutes drive.
