<strong>India</strong> <strong>Trade</strong> <strong>Promotion</strong> Organization (ITPO) is organizing participation of <strong>India</strong>n<br />
Companies at INTERGIFT to be held from September 11-15, 2013 in Madrid (Spain).<br />
The objective of the participation in the event is to showcase <strong>India</strong>’s strength and<br />
supply capabilities in the sector to the European market. ). Imports of giftware and artware<br />
from <strong>India</strong> by the European Union was US$ 9.16 million in 2012 as against the global imports<br />
of giftware and artware by the European Union amounting to US$ 5481.48 million.<br />
Around 800 companies (approx.) from all over the world are expected to take part in the<br />
show. Two events, being organized concurrently with InterGift are Bisutex and Iberjoya with a<br />
display profile of International fashion jewellery and accessories, silverware, watch and<br />
auxiliary industries exhibition. A large number of business buyers from the European Union will<br />
be visiting these events. The January Edition of the three concurrent shows had around 39,500<br />
trade visitors based on the direct participation of 848 companies presenting the most<br />
innovative ideas catering to the spring/summer campaign.<br />
The product profile of the show includes decorative items, bed linen, blankets, curtains,<br />
rugs, table cloth, textiles towels, textile decorative elements, home furnishings, wall coverings,<br />
tableware, glassware, general gifts, travel items, leather accessories, furniture etc.<br />
Application Form of the show containing relevant information is attached, herewith.<br />
Approximate participation charges would be around Rs. 1.40 Lakhs for a booth of 9 Sq. Mtrs.
