<strong>Photography</strong> <strong>Competition</strong> <strong>2012</strong><br />
Do you have an eye for a good photo? Capture your happy, magical<br />
moments and memories at the clubhouses based on the following themes:<br />
Tessensohn – Creativity, Bukit Batok - Family, Changi - Nostalgic<br />
Contestants are free to explore the clubhouses to capture the photos<br />
according to the specified themes.<br />
<strong>Competition</strong> Details<br />
Starting Date : Sunday, 8 July <strong>2012</strong><br />
Closing Date : Wednesday, 31 July <strong>2012</strong> before 5.00pm<br />
Entry Fee: Member $20, Public Officer/Student/Guest $30<br />
(inclusive of goodie bag and 1 complimentary <strong>Photography</strong> Talk)<br />
Eligibility: This contest is open to ALL photography enthusiasts<br />
Photo Submission<br />
Participants can submit a maximum of FOUR photo prints in 8R/A4 size<br />
format and must enclose with a CD containing all the images in Jpeg file<br />
format.<br />
Submissions must include: A title for each photo, photographer’s name,<br />
phone, email and place taken for each photo submission. Photos submitted<br />
must be the participant’s original works. The participant must be the<br />
author and owner of the copyright.<br />

Judging Criteria: Angle of composition, photo advantage with human<br />
elements, creativity of angles, lightings, main focus point
Terms & Conditions<br />
No restriction on subject ; Nude photo are prohibited<br />
Participants are responsible for the issue of any required authorizations<br />
concerning the photos, such as relating to the subjects of the images as<br />
well as the authorization of the persons being photographed and sites. This<br />
permission includes the publication, exhibition and distribution as per the<br />
rules and regulations.<br />
By participating in the competition, you are granting <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Service</strong> <strong>Club</strong> /<br />
JMP Academy non-commercial rights to use your photos for advertising,<br />
promotional and publicity purposes.<br />
<strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Service</strong> <strong>Club</strong> and JMP Academy is not responsible for any failure of<br />
receipt, loss or damage to the photographs entered for the competition.<br />
The photographs submitted will not be returned.<br />
All winners will be notified via post or phone. Judges’ decision is final and<br />
no correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.<br />
The organising committee reserves the right to change any of the rules<br />
and regulation without prior notice.<br />
<strong>Photography</strong> Talk<br />
A talk will be conducted by Master Photographer Joseph KS Tan ( Hon.<br />
FMPA) (A PSA) Founder / Principal Trainer JMP Academy. He will share with<br />
all contestants on the guidelines and tips on excellent and dynamic<br />
photography.<br />
