My Editorial 

This is our issue No. 44 and I keep feeling the same excitement as we made the specials 

of Shakira or Wilfrido Vargas. To see the impeccable work of photographers, models, 

image consultants, designers, finally a team that makes it possible to bring these special 

editions. 

As ever I’m grateful for the support of my good friend Andres A. Reina, who has become a 

fundamental part of our team, exceptional talent, exquisite and unique. Thanks to Pedro 

Rodríguez as always with beautiful and stunning models who also is part of this big 

family. To Camilo Arango, Christian Hard, Chalo Garcia for being present in this edition. 

To Mauricio Hilb who is with us for the first time with an excellent work, very beautiful 

models, a special touch in style; for us it is a pleasure to have him in this issue and we

Venezuelan and 

Belgian-American. I 

moved to the U.S. 

when I was only 8 

years old. Although I 

occasionally lived in 

South Florida, I have 

lived in Belgium, 

France and 

Venezuela. As a 

result, I speak English 

and Spanish fluently 

and I can 

communicate in 

French. My interest 

in modeling came 

out when I was 

contacted by a 

photographer. -I 

have prepared 

enough 

academically in the 

process of getting 

my second degree. 


My plans are to 

continue my 

education in a 

master's program 

and eventually 

obtain my 

doctorate. I 

currently work for 

a law firm. - 

Exercise and 

outdoor activities 

are a big part of 

my life. I am 

engaged in all 

kinds of activities, 

and I especially 

enjoy 

comprehensive 

training, including 

circuit training, 

plyometrics, 

weightlifting, and 

Bikram yoga.

years in the modeling, the Colombian girl was modelled 

as cover girl in catalogs for jeans, underwear, belts and 

wedding dresses.

Two hundred thirty-three 

fashion and photography of 

the most recognized models 

in the world is the number of 

the collection that this 

photographer has been 

doing since his 19 years. 

His pleasure for 

photography began in 2000 

when he lived in Berlin and 

toured some European cities 

like Paris, Madrid, 

Amsterdam, among others, 

and discovered the world 

that amalgamates fashion 

with the most beautiful 

models. On that trip was 

where he started collecting 

magazines to train his eyes 

to exalt feminine beauty. 

In 2007 he graduated as 

social communicator with 

emphasis on journalism and 

audiovisual production. He 

began to pursue his career 

in 2008 when he joined the 

most important printed 

newspaper of Colombia, El 

Tiempo. 

In El Tiempo Casa Editorial was a 

key element in the video 

realization of different products 

that were beginning to have a 

presence in video on the web. 

So in 2010 he became the video 

producer of the fashion 

magazines, celebrity and 

entertainment of this 

distinguished editorial house. 

The Elenco magazine, Don Juan 

and Carrusel elected him to do 

the whole video content that 

appeared in their printed 

version. 

During these productions he 

met Top Models and the most 

important people in the country 

which whom by the way were 

established a good friendship. 

He took photos with each of the 

Top Models or recognized 

characters which they 

uploaded to Facebook. 


Esta red social empezó a darle distinción privilege in the media 

and therefore he decided to risk doing editorial photography of 

fashion and models. In 2012 he began to build his dream called 

Di Puppe. 

Di Puppe, which means doll in German, is the name that he had 

always dreamed to give his business, which now comes true, 

built day by day together with his best friend and partner 

Andres Acosta. He met Andres at El Tiempo, and under the 

same banner of stylish productivity that marks the difference, 

and an exclusive lifestyle, they founded Di Puppe, an editorial 

photo agency, producing videos and managing models. 

Since then the country's 

top models like to pose in 

front of their lens, the 

most reputable 

companies wish to do 

videos with Di Puppe and 

the amateur models 

want to be part of his 

agency to get to be 

known in the media and 

with the most 

distinguished designers.

This beautiful 24 years 

young paisa-girl 

shoots a career as a 

model and presenter 

in an extraordinary 

way. She studied 

Social 

Communication and 

Journalism at the 

University of 

Antioquia, alternating 

she studies with her 

modeling career 

doing catwalk and 

photos for some 

clothing brands. 

To finish her studies 

she traveled to the 

Dominican Republic 

where she settled for 2 

years and where she 

made her first steps as 

a presenter of a TV 

magazine. 


The modeling and television portfolio includes productions 

with artists such as the rapper Akon and Alex Wayne, where 

she starred in the video clip "Ladrón de amor", a video 

which took the first place in the music channel HTV. She has 

already worked with some of the most renowned 

photographers of Colombia, but admits, without

Entertainment and long-time associate of Santana,

I come from the Departamento del Caquetá, the Puerta de 

Oro (Golden Gate) of the Colombian Amazonia. It is the land 

of my birth and where I grew up, raised as a person with 

values and principles. I am currently in the second semester of 

psychology. This is my passion and I will do my best to finish my 

studies successfully. So I can help people by sharing my 

knowledge with those who need help. 


My passion for the modeling runs since ever in my blood. It’s 

my greatest desire to become a nationally and internationally 

recognized model. I have already achieved some successes. 

In 2005, I invariably had the desire to grow in this medium. I 

signed up for a competition of the company Comfaca in the 

city of Florence, called Miss Cola, and I took the first prize as 

reward for my efforts.

THE NUN 

SYNOPSIS 

France, in the 1760s. Born to a 

bourgeois family, Suzanne 

(Pauline Etienne) is a beautiful 

young girl with a natural talent 

for music. Despite her faith, 

she is dismayed when her 

parents send her off to a 

convent, expecting her to 

become a nun. Suzanne first 

resists the rules of the 

convent, but soon finds out 

that she is an illegitimate child, 

leaving her no other option 

than to pronounce her vows 

and suffer the consequences 

of her mother’s sin. 


She soon wants to escape the religious 

path and is trying to revoke her vows 

when the Mother Superior, who had 

brought her comfort and solace, dies. Her 

successor, Sister Christine (Louise 

Bourgoin), turns out to be a sadistic and 

cruel Mother Superior, inflicting the worst 

forms of humiliation upon Suzanne, such 

as depriving her of food and clothing. 

Suzanne is finally transferred to another 

convent, where she discovers another 

kind of Mother Superior (Isabelle 

Huppert), who develops an inappropriate 

affectionate bond with her… 

Adapted from Diderot’s eponymous 

novel, The Nun tells the story of a woman 

trying to resist imposed religious values, 

revealing the dehumanizing effect of 

cloistered life. 


PAULINE ÉTIENNE 

I’d never seen a film made by Guillaume Nicloux when I met 

him two years ago. I think it was thanks to Brigitte Moidon, 

who’d seen me in Joachim Lafosse’s PRIVATE LESSONS, who 

told him about me. We spoke and it was very easy after that. 

To get into the role, firstly I had to work on the musical part – the 

singing and the spinet. 

I did four years of piano but I don’t know how to read music. I 

took four months of singing lessons with a teacher to be able to 

sing a piece by Bach and another piece specially composed 

for the film by Max Richter. In Diderot’s book, Suzanne Simonin is 

described as having a magnificent voice. But I was so nervous 

having those real singers all around me that I wasn’t as good as 

I’d hoped. If I’d worked a bit more, I would have gotten over 

my fear. I get like that when I’m asked to do things that aren’t 

part of my normal repertoire. I need reassurance. And 

Guillaume Nicloux wanted it to be recorded live, in the church 

where the sound is terrific. 


I also did some research to try and understand the vocation ; 

how people behave in those orders, how you get to be in a 

convent, and the stages involved in becoming a nun, with all 

the ceremonies. I even entered a convent to see what it was like 

but I couldn’t manage more than 48 hours. I soon escaped. I 

spent two days participating in their prayers. It wasn’t possible 

to be in contact with the nuns because they were reclusive and, 

as such, separated from visitors. 

It was more about feeling the character than about reflecting on 

her. Religion is something quite remote for me. I don’t have faith, 

but I was touched by Suzanne’s. Despite her love for God, she 

feels that the monastic life is not for her, and she does everything 

she can to escape it. She never plays the victim in her trials. I was 

impressed by the pride and dignity she maintains. Suzanne 

taught me a great deal. 

There are many scenes where I felt like I wasn’t acting. Guillaume 

is a real actors’ director. Nobody has ever worked with me like 

that before, except Joachim Lafosse. I was nervous before the 

shoot because I understood the importance of the role. On the 

first day, I couldn’t get anything out. Guillaume had to start over 

and give me a shove.

There are some scenes that are extremely hardcore 

and which have really stayed with me. The ones in 

the dungeon for example. They were very tough to 

film, on an emotional as well as physical level. I came

Tcherassi, Carolina Herrera. 

At national level I could 

numerate much more, the 

list is a bit longer, but more 

important is, that this 

wonderful walking opened 

the doors for me and now I 

have achieved what I have 

always dreamed of.

and beauty, I am not a 

slave of vanity. I’m a 

physiotherapist and thanks 

to my profession, I could 

learn to understand that the 

body is wise and our media 

to exist and to create. We 

must take care of it with 

exercise and good nutrition, 

without excess. Since five 

years, I don’t eat red meat; 

water is your best ally. Drink 

at least 6 glasses a day, use 

sunscreen and moisturizers, 

and always remove your 

make-up before you go to 

bed.

we talk about fashion, 

technology, music, 

models and health. 

It’s a really super

and it’s presented by the

very exclusive magazine

I've always been like a 

photo model, even 

though I already made 

my start in modeling, I do 

it as a hobby; when I 

turned 29 years, I started 

working professionally and 

what was a hobby 

before, is now a job and a 

passion for me. I like 

everything what has to do 

with art; therefore, the 

movie also belongs to the 

likes in my career. And in 

fact, I have worked both 

as an actress as well as an 

image. Since I acted in 

several short films for some 

film festivals, I also had the 

opportunity to play in 

several well-known

The Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele, the "Angel 

of Death" of Auschwitz, flees from the international 

judiciary to Patagonia. There he joins a caravan trying 

to forget his past until he meets Lilith, a teenager with 

a too-small body. 


Arrived in Bariloche, they settle in an inn. Despite the 

concerns of the owners, they enjoyed prestige with their 

distinguish kind. Soon the hosts discover that they have 

housed a monster among them.

"The German doctor (Wakolda)" is a historical drama 

based on the book "Wakolda" written by Lucia Puenzo. It 

depicts the life of one of the most notorious criminals in 

history, Josef Mengele, in the 50s in southern Argentina.

It is known that the SS doctor 

Mengele found refuge during 

his flight at the end of World 

War II in Bariloche and lived 

there as a veterinarian. 

However, it seems, according 

to statements of witness, that 

he has continued with the 

experimentation on humans to 

find answers to his inquiries. 

Due to the success of the 

book, the author Lucía Puenzo 

(XXY, The Fish Child) 

got the idea that it can also 

be a good story for a film, 

and so she eagerly wrote the 

script and later directed the 

film. The Uruguayan actress 

and singer Natalia Oreiro, we 

recently could see her in "My 

First Wedding", plays Eve, 

who lives together with Enzo 

(Diego Peretti) in the 

company of Josef Mengele 

(Alex Brendemühl).

I hope that you have already 

read a lot about food, about its 

components and properties and 

how they help our bodies. 

Gradually, we will discuss fully 

every detail. 

We are clear on that we have a 

balanced and varied diet for 

not suffering a nutritional 

deficiency or excess, which can 

cause us health problems. 


As already mentioned, we are 

concerned with healthy eating 

and drinking habits. It causes 

along with a good physical 

fitness an awareness of better 

health, more energy and 

ultimately a better figure... I 

can’t find the right words to 

describe the benefits, when 

we learn to feed ourselves and 

improve our lives. I want to talk 

about fruits and vegetables, 

which provides us with 

vitamins, minerals and fiber. I 

recommend you to prepare 

the fruits and vegetables 

properly and carefully, so that 

the important ingredients are 

neither destroyed

nor lose their properties. It 

is very important to wash 

the fruits and vegetables 

properly to eliminate the 

microorganisms that can 

be harmful to health. 

When cooking, make sure 

that the fruits and 

vegetables are not 

cooked too long, so that it 

remains crisp and al 

dente, and / or you eat it 

raw, which is also a very 

good option. 

This way, we can transfer 

all cooking methods. This 

means, so that it not shall 

be boring just to eat the 

products, I give you an 

example of a delicious 

use of vegetables. Cut 

into halves a few 

tomatoes, cut some 

carrots in thick slices (an 

inch thick), some beans 

and eggplant into slices,

use vegetables. Each of 

you can prepare 

accordingly his meal being 

innovative and enjoy it. I

100g Trout diced 1cm x 1cm 

25g purple Onion 

15g red paprika cut into 

julienne strips 

25g sweet corn 

50g lemon juice 

40g orange juice 

25g coriander 

30g ketchup 

Chipotle Sauce to taste 

Salt and pepper to taste 

Preparation Time 15 min 

Preparation: 

• Cut the fish into cubes about 1cm 

x 1cm, do it in a bowl with lemon 

juice, orange juice, salt and 

pepper and let it rest for 10 

minutes. 

• Cut the onion and the paprika 

into strips approx. 2 cm long and 2 

mm. 

• Mix the onion and the paprika 

with the sweet corn and the fish 

and add the chopped coriander 

and the tomato sauce. 

• Finally add the chipotle sauce to 

taste and serve in a glass and 

decorate it.

The surreal and poetic tale of Colin, an idealistic and inventive 

young man, and Chloé, a young woman who seems like the 

physical embodiment of the eponymous Duke Ellington tune. 

Their idyllic marriage is turned on its head when Chloé falls sick 

with a water lily growing in her lung. To pay for her medical bills in 

this fantasy version of Paris, 

Colin must go out to work in a series of increasingly absurd jobs, 

while around them, their apartment disintegrates and their 

friends, including the talented Nicolas, and Chick – a huge fan of 

the philosopher Jean-Sol Partre – go to pieces. 


ABOUT THE FILM 

Éditions Fayard is reprinting a large-format edition of the novel 

with a new preface written by Frédéric Beigbeder. Here is an 

extract: 

[...] It is his best book, by far. The reason we discuss Vian now 

because he dashed off this undisputed masterpiece: a 

cosmetic lotion, an elixir of youth. Reading “L’Écume des Jours” 

makes one grow younger. It does, however, mean different 

things to different ages. Reading “L’Écume des Jours” at 14 can 

be considered a rite of passage. At 40, the sadness is no longer 

the same – it is his sham naivety, his fake innocence that is 

striking. One almost suspects its author of cynicism in 

transforming his own cardiac dyspnea into the water lily on 

Chloé’s lung, herself named thus in homage to a melody by 

Duke Ellington. The more one goes through life, the more this 

novel becomes like a [Proustian] madeleine. When I return to it 

at 60, 70, 80 or 90 years old, it will make me 14 again. Some 

authors age quickly. Others prevent us from doing just that. 


But Vian’s seriousness must be underlined, because he 

neglected to do so himself. The dreadful André Breton called 

“L’Écume des Jours” a “masterpiece of playfulness and poetry.” 

That is key. Remember that the same tyrant said in 1924 in the 

first Surrealist Manifesto that “the marvelous alone is capable of 

making fertile those works which belong to a lesser genre such 

as the novel.” Vian’s approach makes Breton right and Sartre 

wrong in opposing the novel with poetry (the novel alone is 

capable of facing up to the world, poetry is about escaping it): 

Boris Vian is the man who, in the 20th century, brought the two 

together. Let us take a random phrase from the novel, “The 

kitchen mice liked to dance to the sound of sunbeams striking 

the faucets, and run after the little bubbles the rays created as 

they struck the floor, like splashes of yellow mercury.” The fun 

prose of a centrist joker? The beauty of Beaudelairian 

synaesthesia? An absurd humor worthy of Lewis Caroll? The 

silliness of a nitwit schoolboy? It is none of that. The sentence 

merely describes the sun’s rays reflecting on a kitchen sink, and 

animals playing with light reflecting on the floor. 

We’ve all seen a cat trying to catch a 

reflection from a window, but Vian turns that 

into a dance and adds the chemical 

metaphor of “yellow mercury.” His surrealism is 

also a hyperrealism.

Vallenato musicians, starts the 

second part of the biggest 

project of his career. On Sin 

Fronteras 2 play great 

exponents of Latin American 

music, who are convinced of 

the quality of this project and 

want to make their 

contribution to it. This time, 

Alex Campos, Joan Sebastian, 

Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor 

Manuelle, Axel, 

Chocquibtown, Juan 

Fernando Velazco, Luis Silva, 

Alberto Plaza, Eddy Herrera, 

Willy Chirino and Marcos Witt 

are the artists who are part of 

this second volume. In 

addition, Jorge Celedón 

pays tribute to the great 

Spanish rock legend Gustavo
