Scholarships<br />

• Students with sponsor<strong>in</strong>g agencies are eligible to<br />

receive match<strong>in</strong>g scholarships from the <strong>Bush</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

up to $500 per course.<br />

• Scholarship funds are applied towards the tuition<br />

and fees for courses <strong>of</strong>fered at the United Way facility<br />

<strong>in</strong> Houston, as part <strong>of</strong> the graduate <strong>Certificate</strong> <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Nonpr<strong>of</strong>it</strong> <strong>Management</strong>.<br />

Curriculum<br />

• Students complete 12 credit hours <strong>of</strong> graduate-level<br />

coursework. There are two required courses:<br />

• Foundations <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Nonpr<strong>of</strong>it</strong> Sector (3 credit hours)<br />

• <strong>Management</strong> and Leadership <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nonpr<strong>of</strong>it</strong><br />

Organizations (3 credit hours).<br />

• Students select two elective graduate courses (6 credit<br />

hours) from a variety <strong>of</strong> options.<br />

• Courses are available onl<strong>in</strong>e, or <strong>in</strong> residence at the<br />

College Station campus or the United Way Center <strong>in</strong><br />

Houston.<br />

• Students receive graduate transcript credit from Texas<br />

A&M University for the coursework.<br />

Academic Requirements<br />

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from an<br />

accredited university. Pr<strong>of</strong>essional experience <strong>in</strong> the field <strong>of</strong><br />

nonpr<strong>of</strong>it management is recommended.<br />
