(AASA) Professional Development Committee will host the
first part of its two-part Career Development Workshop
Series called “Career Anchors” from 4-6 p.m.at VASCIC
(west area, second floor behind the elevator). For more

9/17: The African American Shipbuilders Association
(AASA) will host its annual “BBQ at the Park” at Newport
News Park (shelter 3) from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more

9/10: AMSEC and Newport News Shipbuilding employees
will participate in a WHRO Membership Drive from 5

Annual Tailgate Party at the Apprentice Athletic Field
prior to the Apprentice School’s Homecoming game vs.
