Was there something inparticular that drew youto Rotorua?I had visited Rotorua on my firstvisit and knew it would be a mustseeplace to share with someonevisiting New Zealand for the firsttime. As we planned our travelsof the north island, we includedRotorua on our list of interestingplaces to visit.We only wished that we hadspent more time there!The history, the natural wondersand the exposure to the Maoriculture first hand are just a few ofthe things that we were able toexperience. Having a place suchas <strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay made it all themore enjoyable.Tell us a bit about yourtime spent staying at<strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay<strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay was comfortable,like home. A great base to stayand explore the local attractions.We visit the Maori village of Ohinemutu during a walk around Rotorua City.Three’s company! A photo opportunity in front of the beautiful Rotorua Museum.We live a naturist lifestyle backhome in Switzerland so beingable to go on holidays and enjoythe same comfort with other likemindedindividuals is somethingwe always look for. Hosts Mikeand Peter were attentive, full ofsuggestions and accommodating.Joining us on some of the localattractions and sharing theirknowledge of the local historyadded a much appreciatedpersonal touch to our stay at<strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay.What were some of theattractions you did whilein Rotorua and what wasthe highlight?We enjoyed the RotoruaMuseum and a walk aroundthe city. In the evening wevisited Te Puia for the Maoricultural show, the PohutuGeyser and indigenoushangi dinner. We got tosee geothermal activityhappening within the city aswell as at Wai-O-Tapu ThermalWonderland. We enjoyedeverything, but the ‘off thebeaten path’ adventure withour hosts Mike and Peter wasthe highlight for us.Would like to return toRotorua someday?Yes, we definitely will returnto New Zealand and includevisiting Rotorua again. Thereare things we did not get toexperience or explore thistime.
