Sabastian started his career in the beauty business as a former
model turned make up artist and skin care expert with over 25
years of expierience working with celebrities, top Fortune 500
, and individuals world wide who seek his talents . He started
at the world famous Jose Eber salon on Rodeo Drive and the
ultra exclusive Georgette Klinger salon known world wide as the
individual who helped introduce European skin care to Americans
back in 1941.
Sabastian makes the world more beautiful one face at a time , his
scientific anti aging skin care line by DermaQuest is NOT tested on
animals and delivers spectacular results!
I ventured into his space to talk to him and take a look around.
Levvy: Wow, how beautiful this place is! Look what you did! It is really beautiful. Tell
me about this jewelry here.
Sabastian: That is a curiated collection from Lavish, by Laurie Weitz. So they’re
really all one-of-a-kind pieces, some vintage pieces, that she has so graciously
put together for us here at Sabastian Skincare. We also have a wonderful line of
couture handbags from JM Couture who does Fashion Week in LA and New York
as well as the one in El Paseo. And we also have Barry Raccio Yoga. Barry Raccio
specializes in Kundalini Yoga. He does privates here as well.
Levvy: Sabastian products is a wide range of business really. Tell me about that.
Sabastian: It is. We have the DermaQuest Line, that we use for our facials, which is
a really cutting edge, scientific, stem cell based product line for anti-aging. We have
stem-cell facials and oxygen facials.
Levvy: What is an oxygen facial? How does that work?
Sabastian: It is really transforming to the skin. You could be really dehydrated, and
have sun damage and it will transform your skin with one treatment. and it just
brings new life to your skin from the inside out. So it not only treats the outside of
your skin, but the inside as well. And we use hyperbaric infused medical grade pure
oxygen that is infused into your skin.
Levvy: That is so interesting. Do you blow it on?
Sabastian: Yes, it blows high pressure. I will give you a tour of that.
Levvy: OK, can we take a tour of the back room? and you just moved into this space?
Sabastian: We did. about 4 months ago. (entering the back room) Here is the
wonderful skin treatment room. I call it ‘one step short of a plastic sugeon’s office’.
Levvy: This is a spa! How cool!
Sabastian: Yes! It is really anti-aging. If we have the TCA Peels, the glaicotic peels,
sugar peels...
Levvy: And you have quite a few Beverly Hills clientel, I can see?
Sabastian: Yes, I have a great clientel list everywhere.
Levvy: Like, Linda Carter...
Sabastian: FloRida.
Levvy: Oh, I love him!

Sabastian: Yes, she comes here. and she is going to be performing here at the Purple
Levvy: Yes. I am interviewing her in the next few days. I am excited to interview her.
Sabastian: She’s a great girl.
Levvy: So, you have signage on Palm Canyon for people to find you. When they are
driving down Palm Canyon they can see your logo and your sign out front.
Sabastian: We are right at 555 S Palm Canyon Drive. In the next room over here we
have wonderful massage people room.

Levvy: Oh my goodness! It does just go on and on!
Sabastian: Yeah, it’s nice. It is a little hidden joy.

Levvy: What a good job you did with the doors and everything!
Sabastian: Thank you! and then we step out this way and you are on Palm Canyon!
Levvy: So you did all the finish out? The design?
Sabastian: Well, everything here is brand new. I don’t think anyone has ever had this
particular space before. It has been since the early 90’s? So we did everything that’s
in here.
Levvy: I love these glass doors. So Sabastian, what are your plans for the future?

Sabastian: My plans for the future is to come out with my own lip-gloss line, as well
as a body product line. And just really bring high-end skin care to the Desert that is
really anti-aging.

Levvy: That is great, because my lips get really dry. I am a person that forgets to take 9.625 X 7.98
care of myself, but every time I do I think, oh yes! This should be done regularly.
Sabastian: Yes, and it feels so good when you do it! and you see the results! That is
what is important.
Levvy: I think I was reading online, someone had been with you in Beverly Hills and
he said, “OMG! You feel like a whole new person when you leave Sabastian’s place!”
Sabastian: Well, you know, it was funny, I was interviewed by someone there a
couple of years ago and they did an article of the ten favorite things to do in LA and I
came in about 6th or 7th: To get a facial by Sabastian!

Levvy: I love it! That’s a good word out there. And you know Lisa Vanderpump as
well don’t you?
Sabastian: I do! I actually went to her party that we had here when she got her star
[Palm Springs Walk of Fame].
Levvy: I did too! Oh, I saw you there. I was up on the balcony doing some video. That
was a hot morning!
Sabastian: I was melting! Yah, I was melting...She was melting! She is a great girl! she
is a real treasure, a real treasure.
Levvy: Well you are quite a treasure yourself, Sabastian!
Sabastian: Oh, thank you (modestly), well that is mutual; so are you.
Levvy: It is nice to get to know you on a little more personal level, because we see
each other out all the time. Thanks again for your time!
