REPS Experienced Teachers
REPS Experienced Teachers
Teacher Amy (IGCSE English Teacher)
Teacher Amy was born in Guyana but grew up in the USA. She has
taught at REPS for 7 years and she teaches English to the upper
secondary students. When she was a young girl, T. Amy’s mom told
her that she would become a teacher – mothers know everything.
Teacher Amy has a Master’s Degree in Education, a Cambridge
Delta 3 specializing in teaching Exam Classes, and she is about to
complete her Education Specialist Degree. T. Amy has a thirst for
knowledge and a strong desire to continuously challenge herself,
so in her free time when she’s not cooking, baking, or spending
time with her two lovely sons, she studies. It is also her reason for
continuing to teach at REPS. T. Amy loves working with her
students and sharing knowledge with them. She has a passion for
teaching and could not see herself doing any other job.
Kru Noot has been teaching at REPS since the beginning. Currently,
kru Noot teaches IGCSE First Language Thai. She has a master’s
degree in Thai Language and received 2 nd place honour, bachelor’s
degree in Education Administration from Suan Dusit University. Now
she is studying for a PhD in Education Administration at Burapha
University. Before coming to REPS she was a teacher at Thamasiri
School in Sattahip. Ever since she was young she wanted to become a
teacher. Kru Noot has been teaching at REPS for so long because she
enjoys the welfare at REPS compared to other schools. Also, she likes
the experience of working with a variety of different cultures from
around the globe. She claims that her favourite thing about REPS is
the students because she says that the students at REPS are much
better behaved than the students she has met in previous schools;
they are friendly to each other, teachers and the staff.
Teacher P (Secondary Chinese Teacher)
Teacher P is our Chinese teacher, born in the South of China.
We commonly call him ‘Laoshi’ which means teacher in
Chinese. He has been a teacher here at REPS since 2011. REPS is
the first school Laoshi has taught in. He has always wanted to
be a teacher since he was a child because his father was also a
teacher. Laoshi says he decided to continue to work at REPS
because he enjoys how friendly and hardworking the students
are. Despite being a Chinese teacher, Laoshi has a bachelor
degree in Thai Language. When he’s not teaching he enjoys
going to the beach and his favourite thing to eat is durian, the
king of fruit .
