Bond’s big boom
Deceuninck NV, the parent of
Deceuninck UK, has issued aretail
bond to raise funds for working capital,
capital expenditure, organic growth,
growth by means of takeovers and
repayment and further reduction of
credit agreements.
According to Deceuninck CEO Tom
Debusschere itisaresounding success.
He says: “We are delighted with the
major interest and confidence of
investors in Deceuninck. After just one
day the issue was subscribed at 175%.”
Roy Frost, Deceuninck MD for the
UK, says: “Investors like what
Deceuninck is doing. In the UK we’ve
invested in innovative, pretty products
that give customers the edge,incolour,
quality, service and support for
customers to help them build their
business.”
Menwhile the company has anounced
arcord performance for September and
October.
Deceuninck’s customers’ September
sales were the best since 2005 despite a
softer than expected UK window
market and Deceuninck has declared its
best October since 2005.
Singling out Deceuninck UK as one of
the top performers in Deceuninck plc’s
first half 2015 report, the group
attributed the UK’s strong performance
to investment in new products.

Deceuninck UK’s latest product, the
new sliding patio Slider24, achieves
ClassA4 air permeability with arating of
600Pa, Class E8A water permeability
with arating of 450Pa and ClassA3 wind
resistance with a rating of 1200Pa. It
achievesPAS24 security and an A+ door
set energy rating, and deceuninck keeps
26 colourways in stock with all matching
trims, cills and ancillaries. ❐

to honour the top
achievers in the
G15 awards and
gala dinner on
November 27,
everyone agreed
it was one of the
best years yet.
An audience of
more than 600 applauded the winners for anarray of products and
initiatives.
OrganiserTony Higgin says:“It was the best year to date for so
many reasons. Every single winner showed what amilestone 2015
really has been for the industry –and the buzz in the hall
throughout the event left no doubt that everyone agreed.”
Among those with most the celebrate were two double winners –
Saint-Gobain Glass UK taking home the trophy for glass company
of the year as well as the Derek BonnardAward for excellence
marking Saint-Gobain’s 350th anniversary, andThermoseal Group
winning both for training and development and component
supplier of the year. ❐
PVC-U there!
More than a dozen PVC-U and
aluminium systems producers are
showing at The FIT Show when it
opens on April 12th, 13th and 14th
next year,the biggest gathering of such
companies for adecade.
With many of the industry’s
established stalwarts exhibiting there
are also one or two newer names
joining the throng and all are claiming
something new on offer, including
brand new systems. However, all are
keeping their big items under wraps for
the time being.
FIT Show managing director Paul
Godwin says: “This is the most
impressive gathering of such companies
for probably 10years.There has been a
significant rationalisation of the systems
companies since the ‘80s and ‘90s but
the dozen plus systems companies
exhibiting at next year’s FIT Show isthe
best turnout for adecade
“That these companies are investing
millions of pounds in design,
development, new machinery and
tooling at this time is great news for all
of us. It shows great faith in the futureof
the industry.
“Many of these companies are
showing brand new systems so
fabricators and installers looking at
additional or alternative systems can
use the opportunity to compare most
of the major brands, under the same
roof.”
