An honour to play on the Bradman Oval
Individual trophies of each Rally entrants car and names!
caterers made it a memorable and enjoyable day as well
as all the Rally attendees. But, like all good things, it had
to come to an end just as the weather was changing with
dark clouds and rain imminent.
My thanks to fellow club members who were involved
and supported not only our Bowral day but the entire
event. It was a great team effort and we can be proud
to have hosted a great Rally with so many attendees and
seeing great photos of these events on the Club Facebook
page.
Rally kit - Eros Lazzaro
The Rally kit was modelled on tradition, practicality
and value. The kit ultimately consisted of: “Hero”
item, Rally program, grille badge, calendar, Continental
cap, pen, windscreen sun visor, water, sun screen,
Mercedes-Benz museum lanyard, name badge & tickets,
Sydney city map, Kiama bag of tourism brochures, latest
club magazine and a discount voucher.
Hero Item - Vince Thompson, Simon Strauss, Ben
de Boer
Part of the registration process included members
providing the details of their car. From this database
a list of 76 Hero items was derived including the names
of the Rally entrants and their nominated vehicle. From
there, Ben searched the web for suitable quality pictures
of each car and this data was shared with Trophyland who
generated line art of each vehicle and finished art for each
of the items.
After multiple artwork checks and the production of a
sample, then further rounds of artwork, the finished items
were produced and delivered.
glass trophy of 100 x 60 x 60mm with each Rally
A entrant’s car and name etched into it along with the
Rally logo was individually produced. The reaction of
each Rally entrant when they realised that they had their
own car etched into a glass trophy was superb!
Program - Lionel Smith
Every event the size of the National Rally requires
a program designed to provide all the important
information that participants need to be made aware
of, particularly in regard to the events that have been
included in the Rally activities.
The cover was designed to give a feeling of expectation of a
