Infrastructure. Our office is fully staffed to handle the challenges of property<br />

A Brief History of San Carlos Agency, Inc.<br />

San Carlos Agency, Inc. was officially founded by Jack and Ione Miller as San<br />

Carlos-Fifth Avenue Realty in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea in 1954. While raising his<br />

family on the Central Coast, Jack Miller began building residential and commercial<br />

buildings, then coupled that with real estate sales and insurance services. His wife,<br />

Ione, well established not only in the Carmel and Pebble Beach area but also in<br />

Sacramento’s business elite, began helping friends and family who wanted to escape<br />

the Central Valley’s summer heat to find short-term stay rentals. Soon enough, they<br />

began referring their friends and family to her, and she became an expert in<br />

From Highway 1 South, turn left at the light onto Carmel Valley Road, go one block<br />

right. Our entrance is off the breezeway on the west side of the building and is easily<br />
