Message about this guide
A strong and coherent visual identity is crucial to
Calvary Chapel Christian Schoolʼs public image
and reputation. The purpose of this guide is to
provide standards that help you support a
consistent and cohesive visual identity. The
persistent use and thoughtful application
reinforces awareness of CCCS, increases the
schoolʼs visibility, promotes its academic
reputation and strengthens core strategic
messaging.
CCCS produces a wide range of newsletters,
promotional materials, emails, websites,
advertisements and the like. Within this diverse
scope of communications, the school as a whole
benefits when we all use consistent design and
editorial standards. Individuals and departments
also benefit from a strong assosiation with the
schoolʼs identity.
As stewards of branding identity, ProSource
Promos can answer any questions you may have
and help you with the application of these
standards.
Thank you for sharing and supporting this vision.

Visual Elements
These elements are the tools that are used to
communicate the CCCS brand. They work
together to create a look and feel that is
uniquely Calvary.

4
The logo
The logo has two components - the stylized lion
symbol and the logotype which is based on the
Futura typeface.
The lion alone can be used alone on certian
applications obvioius or unique to the school. By
default, you should use the complete logo.
The logotype may not be used without the
symbol. In some applications, a circular logo
may be needed. In this case, see page 5 for
circular applications.
5
Circular Applications
Some applications require a square or small
space as opposed to a rectangle shape. In these
cases, use the circular version of the logo.
Use this version sparingly. Do not use this
version without permission.

6
Let the Logo Breathe
We respect the logo by giving it some space.
The perfered clearspace around the logo is
equivalent to to the width of the ʻELʼ in the
logotype.
Minimum Size
In print, the logo should never appear smaller
than 1”. On-screen, it must appear atleast 200
pixels wide.
Creation of New Logos
Prosource Promos discourages the creation of logos to individualize
a CCSV entity from its parent brand. New logos are considered
and created on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by
Prosource Promos. School logos are standardized to protect and
reinforce the visual standards of the school. Therefore, a graphic
element or unique design is often sufficient to represent programs
and services. For questions regarding these logos, contact
Prosource Promos at dlee@prosourcepromos.com
