Workshop leader
Dinka H. Spirovska, MA, MBA is a visual design educator with over 20 years of experience in
the professional world and academia. Before turning to designing Visual Literacy programs,
Spirovska was a full-time faculty member at the American University in Bulgaria. Prior to
moving to Bulgaria, she taught courses and labs at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and
Performing Arts and at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. With expertise in
visual communication, photography, graphic design, and writing, Spirovska promotes holistic,
multi-disciplinary approaches to education, lifelong learning and empowerment of individuals
and organizations.
