EXTERIOR PROTECTION
Patented Diamondbrite products are carefully applied to your vehicle leaving a hard, high gloss protective
‘shield’ which prevents caustic atmospheric pollutants from contacting your car’s paintwork. For a
professional finish Guaranteed, Diamondbrite can only be applied at authorised Diamondbrite centres and by
fully-trained technicians.
Once treated with the Diamondbrite process you will never have to polish your car again. Simply wash down
using Diamondbrite Shampoo or Diamondbrite Waterless Wash and Wax, as often as necessary. To enhance
the protection you can use the Diamondbrite Conserver as a rinse additive, but with the new improved
Diamondbrite formula paint protection you do NOT HAVE to use this to keep to the terms of the guarantee.
Shampoo and Conserver are supplied with your initial Diamondbrite pack but more can be purchased from
your local dealer or direct from Jewelultra Ltd.
Isn’t your bodywork already guaranteed?
Your new car’s bodywork is usually only guaranteed against rust penetration and separation of paint
from metal. The majority of motor manufacturers now use environmentally friendly water based paints.
Unfortunately these are much softer than traditional synthetic paints and are therefore more vulnerable to
climatic conditions.
The actual finish of the paint is your responsibility as it is your aftercare which determines its ongoing
condition and here is the problem; even if you regularly and thoroughly clean and polish your car it will not
prevent attack from our corrosive atmosphere. Even under normal driving conditions your new car will be
exposed to pollutants which will progressively erode your paintwork, leaving marks and stains or worse
making the colour appear dull and faded. More serious damage is happening on a microscopic level, with
the smooth surface of the factory applied finish being attacked leaving it pitted and even more receptive to
holding corrosive dirt. This vicious cycle leads to a rapid degeneration – in months rather than years – and
explains why your car becomes harder to wash and keep clean over time.

LEADING COMPETITORS
Independant tests carried out by Intertek Testing & Certification Ltd have placed Jewelultra’s Diamondbrite
paint protection the best performer in 2 separate tests. The tests included water bead height and specular
gloss tests on black and red (the colour quickest to deteriorate) paint finishes.
THE TESTS
Diamondbrite vs Untreated vs
Autoglym Lifeshine vs Glasscoat
Diamondbrite was tested against untreated metal panels and
panels treated with Autoglym Lifeshine and Glasscoat. Two
parameters were monitored, specular gloss and the height of the
water bead on the surface. Each sealant was applied to six test
panels, three painted black and three painted red. The panels
were sheet steel approximately 300mm x 300mm x 1.5mm which
had been painted by a car body paint specialist. The specular
gloss of a paint film can be measured using a glossmeter which
consists of a light source which directs a parallel beam of light on
to a surface under test at an angle of 60 degrees.

The height of a water bead applied to the paint surface is a guide to
the effectiveness of the paint protection.
In the water bead height test Diamondbrite held up much better than
the other products, all of which had fallen back to levels similar to
the untreated panels.

In the specular gloss test, at the end of the test period (12 months),
Diamondbrite produced the best results for both the black and the red
panels. They were much better than both Glasscoat and Lifeshine.
Interestingly the levels for Gloss on the red panels were lower for
Glasscoat than on untreated panels at the end of the test.
So these results prove once and for all that Diamondbrite IS worth
having and performs better than Lifeshine and Glasscoat.

INTERIOR PROTECTION
Fabric Protection
During the Diamondbrite Fabric Protection process each fibre is coated with an invisible resin based material.
After treatment your fabric will be guaranteed against normal everyday spills and stains. Diamondbrite
has been successfully tested with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, alcohol, milk, fruit juices, cola, fizzy drinks,
chocolate, confectionery and grease from foodstuffs. All of these were repelled by the treated fabric and
either passed straight through the weave or beaded up allowing an easy wipe away.
Carpet Protection
Carpets take so much abuse that often simple vacuuming isn’t enough. Fabric protection seals the base and
surface fibres to enable dirt and grime including dog hairs to be more easily removed.
Leather
Leather treatment is not part of the guaranteed Diamondbrite process, however Diamondbrite do supply a
high quality Leather Feed and Cleaner that maintains the leather, keeping it supple, flexible and helping to
preserve the new leather smell. Provided as an optional extra in all After Care Packs it should be applied at
regular intervals to prevent leather from drying and cracking.
FABRIC PROTECTION How it works

ANY QUESTIONS?
Q Will I have to reapply Diamondbrite Paint and Fabric Protection?
A
In the UK this product is guaranteed for the life that you own the vehicle, so unless you have an accident, you will not need
to wax, reapply or renew it within that timeframe. In other countries with extreme climatic conditions the length of the
guarantee may vary.
Q How often should I clean or polish the vehicle?
A
A regular wash with Diamondbrite Car Shampoo and water or Diamondbrite Waterless Wash & Wax (or similar, but not
dishwashing detergent) will be all your vehicle requires. The new formula of Diamondbrite does not necessarily need the
Conserver but you will notice enhanced protection if it is used as a wash additive.
Q How quickly should I remove bird droppings?
A
Diamondbrite paint protection is guaranteed to resist the effects of birdlime, as long as it is washed of within 7 days.
Q If the vehicle sustains damage, will I need to have it recoated?
A
After an accident, as part of the insurance claim, the paintwork needs to be recoated but the cost of this can be claimed
from the insurance company with proof of purchase. Please check with the insurance company first before making a claim.
Q What happens if a spillage soaks into my fabric after Diamondbrite has been applied?
A
Some vehicle upholstery is made up of loosely woven fibres, which will allow liquids to pass between the fibres. The
important thing is that liquids will not impregnate or stain the individual fibres and can be mopped up easily with a damp
cloth or cleaned using Diamondbrite Upholstery Cleaner.
Q Who registers my guarantee?
A
We recommend that your supplying dealer will register your guarantee with us on line. Otherwise there will be a guarantee
in the aftercare pack you receive which you can use to register either by post or on line.

A
Unlike other paint and fabric protection companies Jewelltra Ltd manufacture Diamondbrite in the UK. We are not just a
marketing company and the product is not imported. The Diamondbrite Paint Protection process is sold worldwide.

The contents of this may vary so always check with your dealer to make sure that you are receiving
the correct pack.
Diamondbrite Waterless Wash & Wax means you will never
have to use water to clean your car. The product can be
bought separately or in a kit with a terry towel.
