The control unit provides the highest level of customer-oriented equipment in glasswashers and 

warewashers of the EcoStar-Lineeven in its basic version :

The modern wash-up area is integrated in all contemporary and future-oriented communication 

media – as is continuing to be increasingly the case. 

Functionalities already available with MIKE 3 include: 

� Master display connection 

� Integration in current building technologies 

� Comprehensive visualisation of all process parameters 

� Informative display of several machines and system components 

� Additional data storage on SD data storage card 

� Audit trail (modification log) 

� As well as all functionalities that can be offered under a modern “e-service”: 

� e.g. remote maintenance, support via Internet, e-mail, SMS, GSM, W-LAN etc. 

Of decisive importance is a comprehensive and extensive software package that provides 

integrated data manegement for the human-machine interface for the first time. 

There are two software packages for MIKE3 "CC-Log" and "CC-Insight", with which a new age 

of communication between humans and machines in the wash-up area has begun. The 

operating log and service parameters can be opened effortlessly without and cumbersome cable 

connections. 

“CC insight” makes it unnecessary to go to the warewashing machines. “CC Log” saves all data 

related to hygiene and the system by simply logging on. 














This unique control technology makes it possible to record the hygiene results precisely – above 

all in real time. 

This MEIKO MEIKO technology, technology, up until now the only one of its kind, not only records records machine data but 

also monitors concentrations of detergent and documents e.g. e.g. container changes by pressing 

buttons on the machine or by clicking clicking the the mouse on the PC. 

Thus all the the data of an operating log are recorded and archived, whereby not only the data 

ascertained by the machine but also factors ascertained ascertained externally such as "basic "basic cleaning, 

descaling, container change (detergent, rinse aid)” are stored in the MIKE 3 machine control unit 

and can be output in the form of a complete and automatically generated operating log.

MIKE3 - M-Commander InVision Expansion stage CC-Log 

A unique comfort-oriented expansion has been realised with this stage. 

The operating log and service parameters can be quickly and reliably 

called up by a PALM-PDA using wireless infrared technology, and 

they can then be transmitted to a PC for further processing.

All of the warewashing machines’ processes are shown in a clear manner directly on the screen, 

e.g. in the office of the kitchen manager. Every kitchen manager can follow the machines’ 

processes on the screens in their offices. Around the clock if necessary. 

All of the data vital for the system to function are administered and saved by a communication 

module (KMM) integrated into the machine - as an interface for all incoming and outgoing data 

streams. 

This hygiene management has led to communication paths that have made possible the 

representation of the wash ware cleaning process, from feeding to the drying zone. It shows all 

functional parameters such as water level, tank heating function, the wash systems, fans, the 

fresh water supply, the transport speed and – as long as the chemicals suppliers provide the 

corresponding signals – the detergent and rinse aid feed.

The complete documentation of the working processes of a MEIKO conveyor and the possibility 

of an immediate intervention upon any deviations makes hygiene more certain than ever. 

At the same time management receives assistance, quality is increased, and the effort involved 

is reduced. Data acquisition that goes beyond the mechanics, i.e. so-called "peripheral factors" 

such as chemical and water treatment, exhaust values and dispenser filling is also possible. 

Documentation continues even whenever the computer system in the office of the employees 

responsible for the kitchen is not switched on. All of the data are stored on a special storage 

component in the communication component (KMM) of the machine control unit. A connection is 

made to the internal data processing system. All of the data are saved twice and can be traced 

back to their first installation on the machine. 













MIKE3 - M-Commander InVision Service management 


The innovative control concept “M-Commander InVision”, apart from the hygiene management 

described, also includes a detailed analysis program "M-Commander“that provides for the 

functional analysis of the data supplied by the control unit on the service side and the basis for 

operating optimisations of warewashing machines on the users side.
