Idea Catalogue 2
The purpose of this Idea Catalogue to give the Bang & Olufsen retailer, an
idea of what is possible with Bang & Olufsen products, and show the potential
integration between Bang & Olufsen and 3rd party products.
This Idea Catalogue is made primarily to show the possibilities.
The set-ups in this Idea Catalogue are primarily shown together with a product
that contains our A1 chassis (BeoSystem 3/BeoVision 7 MKIII or higher, video
engine). This does not mean that it is not compatible with other Bang &
Olufsen video products, however, further advice should be taken if you are
not sure. All the set-ups have been tested and as such are Bang & Olufsen
recommendations.

Apple Airport Express
Allows you to listen to your favourite content in another room.
Description
Airport Express adds extra zones or rooms to your Bang &
Olufsen controlled Apple library. Use either Beo4 or Beo6 or your
iOS device to control the sound. You can push to the Airport
Express directly from your iOS device or you can use iTunes from
your MAC/PC. You can control your MAC/PC directly from any of
your Bang & Olufsen TVs

Stream music from your portable Apple device and connect to the wireless home network.
Description
The Apple AirPort Express converts the music stream to an
analogue signal in high quality. If a wireless home network exists,
the Apple AirPort Express should be connected to this. If no
wireless network exists, the Apple AirPort Express must be
configured as an access point.

DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance)
Is a standard used by a large number of manufacturers of
consumer electronics to allow entertainment devices within
the home to share their content with each other across a

These devices store content and make it available to networked

You need a home network. We prefer wired networks to co-exist
with the Network Link infrastructure which is recommended by
Bang & Olufsen. Wireless links or Powerline are optional. DLNA
certified devices today connect, discover and communicate with
each other over a network such as Network Link

Western Digital HD TV
Wester Digital HD TV allows you to watch and listen to content
from your NAS drive directly at your Bang & Olufsen TV.
Description
Western Digital HD TV is a DMP (Digital Media Player). It uses the
DLNA system to allow quick and easy connection to your existing
network.
Wester Digital HD TV is also a DMR (Digital Media Renderer). You
can ‘push’ content from a Digital Media Server using a Digital
Media Controller.
