— President’s message —
Our Board members are working hard and are very excited about planning our Fair weekend
to open this August 10th, 11th and 12th. We have an exciting lineup of band entertainment,
shows, events and displays which will provide family fun and entertainment for all ages.
We are fortunate to have Crown Amusements providing our midway, and Ontario Dock
Dogs to showcase their dog trials in an 80 foot pool of water, Saturday and Sunday for
all to enjoy. With children’s shows, cattle and horse shows, agricultural and home craft
displays it will be the weekend highlight of the summer season. Next summer of 2013 will
mark the 175th anniversary edition of our fair . This will be an event which will require
an enormous effort for our board members. We are asking everyone to step forward and
volunteer to help in these effors. We need you; it is your fair. To contribute some time,
please call Joy at 613-269-2022, or refer to our website to sign up with your name and
number. Any type of volunteer help will be greatly appreciated.
See you at the Fair!~ Mary Ross
