To qualify the course a student is required to secure a m<strong>in</strong>imum <strong>of</strong> 40% marks <strong>in</strong> aggregate<br />

<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the year-end exam<strong>in</strong>ation and teachers cont<strong>in</strong>uous evaluation (i.e. both <strong>in</strong>ternal and<br />

external). A candidate who secures less than 40% <strong>of</strong> marks <strong>in</strong> a course shall be deemed to have<br />

failed <strong>in</strong> that course. A candidate fail<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> more than two subjects will not be promoted to the next<br />

higher class. If a candidate fails <strong>in</strong> either theory or practical, he/ she shall have to reappear <strong>in</strong> both<br />

the exam<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />

A candidate who has been placed under re-appear category <strong>in</strong> any <strong>of</strong> the subject shall be allowed to<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>ue his/her studies <strong>in</strong> the next year but will have to pass the exam<strong>in</strong>ation <strong>of</strong> the concerned<br />

subject <strong>in</strong> the supplementary exam<strong>in</strong>ation to be conducted with<strong>in</strong> three months after declaration <strong>of</strong><br />

the result. Unless candidate passes the previous level exam<strong>in</strong>ation, he/she shall not be allowed to<br />

appear <strong>in</strong> the next higher level exam<strong>in</strong>ation. Failure <strong>in</strong> supplementary exam<strong>in</strong>ation will cause the<br />
