SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
After their trekking trip to Kyrgyzstan last winter, Team JACK WOLFSKIN
members Ryan and Olav met up again for an alpine mountaineering
trip to Colorado. They were joined by Ryan’s girlfriend Abrie and Olav’s
friend Anja from Vancouver.
For Olav the Colorado trip was the culmination of an eight week trip
through the northwest of the USA – some of it by bike. Ryan had home
advantage: he comes from Colorado and it was he who organised the
trip. With their VW bus packed to bursting, the four climbers, plus
Moritz the photographer, set off for the Uncompaghre Wilderness.
