Holbaek Garden bar gennem 40 ar udviklet
sig til en musikalsk institution i byen.
Garden bar gennem arene beredvilligt
stillet sig til radighed ved en lang raekke
arrangementer, og udgjort et bade Hot og
festligt musikalsk indslag i bybilledet.
Udover at Holbaek Garden i dag er kendt
af enhver i lokalomradet, bar garden fungeret
som ambassador for byen pa turneer
bade her i landet og rundt om i Europa.
En omfattende turnevirksomhed,
som bar sat Holbaek pa landkortet.
Set i det lange perspektiv, sa bar Holbaek
Gardens betydeligste indsats vaeret indflydelsen
pa det lokale musikliv. De mange
born og unge, som bar faet deres
musikalske opdragelse i Holbaek Garden,
bar i h0j grad praeget det musikliv
som er blomstret frem gennem de sidste
40 ar.
Holbaek Gardens store fortjeneste er , at
den bar sat sig tydelige spor i de orkestre,
musikalske ensembler og grupper,
som bar gjort Holbaek til en musikby.
Tak til Holbaek Garden for musikalske
oplevelser og musikalsk opdragelse
gennem 40 ar.

The Holbaek Guardover
the past
40 yeas
Over the past 40 yeas the Holbaek Guard
has developed into a musical instution of
the town.Throughout the years the
Guard has always been willing to show
up at a long series of events, and it has
been a both attractive and festival musical
element in the look of the town.
Apart from the fact that today the Holbaek
Guard is known locally by everybody,
the Guard has functioned as the
town~s ambassador on tours both in Denmark
and in various other countries in
Europe. A comprehensive touring activity
which has helped place Holbaek on the
map.
In the lang perspective, the Holbaek
Guard's most important achievement
has been its influence on local musical
life. The many children and young
people who got their musical training
in the Holbaek Guard have greatly influenced
the musical life that has flourished
over the past 40 years.
The Holbaek Guard*s great achievement
is the clear mark it has left on the
orchestras, musical ensembles and
groups which have made Holbaek
a music town.
Best thanks to the Holbaek Guard for
the musical experience and the musical
appreciation it has given us througout
40 years.
