Institut Chemnitzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.
Der Institut Chemnitzer Maschinenbau e.V. wurde 1992 gegründet und hat 74 Mitglieder. Seit 2006 ist
der ICM e.V. als private Forschungseinrichtung anerkannt. Die Forschungsaufgaben werden seit 1998
in zwei Fachabteilungen durchgeführt:
1. Produktinnovation
Prozesssteuerung im Anlagenbau, Spezialtechnologien zur Komplettbearbeitung,
Recyclingtechnologien, Ergonomie.
2. Prozessinnovation
Netzwerkentwicklung, Innovationsprozesse, Objektorientierte Kooperationsentwicklung,
Innovative Zulieferstrukturen.
Seit 1993 bearbeitet der ICM e.V. BMBF-, BMWI- und EU-Forschungsprojekte. In Netzwerken von KMU
werden neue technische Produkte und Prozesse für den Anlagen- und Sondermaschinenbau initiiert,
entwickelt und und umgesetzt. Seit 2008 / 2009 etablieren sich die Netzwerke RailTecNet und Easyload
in den Spezialgebieten Entwicklung von Komponenten für die Sonderbahntechnik sowie für Transport
und Logistik. Ziel ist es, Bahntechnik, Transport und Logistik und Maschinenbau durch innovative Lösungen
zu verbinden, um neue Produkte bzw. neue Verfahren und Technologien zur Produktherstellung
zu entwickeln.
RailTecNet und Easyload sind Projekte von ZIM – zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand des
Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie. Seit 2006 ist das ICM e.V. Mitglied der Initiative
Kompetenznetze Deutschland.
The Institut Chemnitzer Maschinenbau e.V. (ICM e.V.; Incorporated Association) was founded in 1992; it
has 74 members. Since 2006, ICM e.V. has been recognized as a private research institution. Since 1998,
the research tasks have been carried out in two specialist departments:
1. Product innovation
Process control in plant construction, Special technologies for complete
processing, Recycling technologies, Ergonomics.
2. Process innovation
Network development, Innovation processes, Object-oriented cooperation
development, Innovative supply structures.
Since 1993, ICM e.V. has been processing research projects assigned by the BMBF, BMWI and the EU.
New technical products and processes for plant construction and special mechanical engineering are
initiated, developed and implementedand implemented. Since 2008/2009, the networks RailTecNet
and Easyload have established in the special fields of developing components for special rail technology
and for transport and logistics. The objective is to link rail technology, transport and logistics, and
mechanical engineering through innovative solutions for the purpose of designing new products and
developing new methods and technologies for the manufacture of products.
RailTecNet and Easyload are projects of ZIM – Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand [central
innovation program for small and medium-sized companies] of the Federal Ministry of Economics
and Technology. Since 2006, ICM e.V. has been a member of the Initiative Networks of Competence in
Germany.
