Konklusion
Die familiäre hypertrophe Kardiomyopathie ist
eine genotypisch und phänotypisch heterogene
Erkrankung. Die sorgfältige Evaluation des Phänotypes
und genetische Analysen sind wichtig
für das optimale Patientenmanagement. Eine
gefürchtete Komplikation ist der «sudden cardiac
death». ESC/ACC-Guidelines helfen zur
Abschätzung des SCD-Risikos. Die Genanalyse
ist ein zusätzlicher Test zur Risikostratifizierung.
Weiterführende Genotyp-Phänotyp-Korrelationsstudien
und die Analyse klinischer Daten in
informativen FHC-Familien sind wichtig und
werden in Zukunft erlauben, FHC-Patienten mit
hohem Risiko besser zu identifizieren.
