Inserting the batteries/
rechargeable batteries
For the insertion or
replacement of the
batteries/rechargeable
batteries (9-Volt-block) push
the battery chamber cover
(5) in the direction of the
arrow downwards.
Remove the used batteries/
rechargeable batteries from
the sets. Insert the new
battery package paying
attention to the (+/-) polarity
in the allocated troughs (see
housing stamping).
Now close the battery
compartment in reverse
order.
Help protect the
environment!
Batteries and storage cells
bearing one of the symbols
shown must not be disposed
of in normal domestic waste.
Instead take them to a
collecting point for old
batteries or special waste
products (ask your local
authority for details) or return
them to the dealer you
bought them from. He will
ensure they are disposed of
safely.
Safety instruction
• If the walkie talkie is not
working properly, check
the charge of the
batteries/rechargeable
batteries and check that
the batteries/
rechargeable batteries
are lying properly in the
battery beds.
• Do not hold the devices
by the antennas, as that
detrimentally affects the
transmission.
• In the case of damage
caused by failure to
follow these operating
instructions the warranty
is voided! We will take
no responsibility for
consequential damage!
• For certification reasons
(CE) unauthorised
conversion and/or
alteration of the walkie
talkie is not permitted!
• As voltage source only
9-Volt-blocks may be
used!
• Do not expose the set to
high temperatures,
moisture or strong
vibrations as well as to
mechanical strain!
• After use turn the sets off.
• In the case of a long break
in use it is recommended
to take the batteries/
rechargeable batteries
out, as empty batteries
can solidify and cause
damage.
Care and warranty
Separate the device from
other components prior to
cleaning, if necessary, do
not use aggressive cleansing
agents.
The device has been
subjected to a careful final
inspection. In case of
complaints, however, please
return the device together
with the receipt. We grant
a guarantee period of 3 years
from the date of purchase.
No claims will be accepted
for damage due to wrong
handling, improper use or
wear. We reserve the right
for technical modifications.
