für Aluminium-Verkleidung von Kunststoff- Fenster und -Türen
Das Kunststoff-Alu-System DECCO bietet mit einem
vielfältigen Profilsortiment maßgeschneiderte Lösungen
passend für Kunststofffenster des Systemhäuses
GEALAN für jede Anforderung vom Wohngebäude bis
zum Objektbau.
Das vielfältige Profilsortiment lässt keine
Gestaltungswünsche offen: Alle gängigen
Fensterkonstruktionen und Öffnungsarten können
ausgeführt werden. Auch Schrägfenster und
Rundbögen sind machbar.
Das Kunststoff-Alu-Systen Decco ist ein
halbflächenversetztes System.
Die Glasaufnahme erfolgt komplett im
Kunststofffenster. Die Isolierglaskante ist somit
ausgezeichnet gegen Wärmeverlust gedämmt.
Der Glasaustausch wird von innen durch Lösung
der Glasleiste ausgeführt.
Die Alu-Schale ist Wetterschutz und farblich frei
gestaltbares Architekturelement. Alle Beschläge,
die im Kunststofffensterbau eingesetzt werden,
können verwendet werden.
Die Alu-Rahmen sind großzügig hinterlüftet und
werden mit Klipsleisten spannungsfrei auf dem
Kunststoffprofil befestigt. So kann sich ohne
Behinderung der Alurahmen bei
Temperaturschwankungen dehnen.
Als Dichtung für die äußere Andichtung des
Glases an den Rahmen und zur Abdichtung
zwischen Flügel und Rahmen kann je nach
Profilsystem entweder die Standard-Dichtung
oder die vom Systemgeber empfohlene Dichtung
für Kunstoff-Aluminium
Die Alu-Rahmenverbindungen können geschweißt
oder als gestanzte Eckverbindungen geliefert
werden.
Die Wärmedämmwerte bleiben in etwa gleich wie
die vom Kunststofffenster Systemhaus
angegebenen Werte.
Die Falzentwässerung kann unsichtbar über den
Kunststoffblendrahmen oder sichtbar mit
Entwässerungskappen über den
Aluminiumblendrahmen geschehen.

For aluminium cladding of PVC windows and doors
The versatile DECCO PVC-aluminium-system offers
custom solutions for the large plastic windows system
house GEALAN, be it residential buildings or commercial
construction.
The wide range of profiles caters to all design
requirements: All standard window constructions
and opening variations are available. Even slanted
windows and round-arched windows are possible.
The DECCO PVC-aluminium-system is a half
offset system.
The glass is taken up completely in the PVC
window. This provides excellent protection from
heat loss for the edge of the sound-control glass.
Glass may be exchanged by releasing the glass
beads on the inside.
The aluminium shell provides weather protection
and offers many colour options for architectural
components. All fittings used in PVC window
construction may be applied here as well.
The aluminium frames feature ample
rear-ventilation and are mounted on the PVC
profile tension-free with clip-on bars. This allows
the aluminium frame to expand without constraints
during temperature fluctuations.
Depending on the particular profile system used,
the gasket for the outer seal between glass and
frame and between sash and frame, either the
standard gasket or the gasket recommended by
the systems supplier for PVC-aluminium
structures may be used.
The aluminium frame connections are available as
welded or punched corner joints.
The thermal insulation values are approximately
the same as the ones indicated by the plastic
window systems supplier.
Rebate drainage may be implemented invisibly in
the PVC frame or visibly with drainage caps in the
aluminium frame.

Mechanische Eckverbindung gestanzt
Sämtliche Flügel- und Blendrahmenprofile werden mit dem Eckwinkel EW 3000-4N verstanzt.
Zunächst werden die Profile zugeschnitten und mit Fettlöser entfettet. Es ist ein Fettlöser zu verwenden,
der lackierte Sichtflächen nicht angreift. Danach werden in die Aufnahmenut der Profile die Eckwinkel
geschoben, die Ecken zusammengesteckt, ausgerichtet und mit einer Hydraulikstanze von oben verstanzt.
Mechanische Eckverbindung geschraubt
Alternativ besteht die Möglichkeit 90° Gehrungen mit dem Eckwinkel EW 3000-4S zu verschrauben.
Die Schrauben werden mit einem Torx-Schraubenzieher T30 in Richtung der Gehrung gleichmäßig angezogen
bis die Verzahnung spürbar rastet. Bei Ecken für Schrägelemente wird der verstellbare Eckwinkel EW 3000-4V N verwendet.
Der verstellbare Eckwinkel wird in die Aufnahmenut des Aluminiumprofils eingeschoben und die Ecken ausgerichtet.
ACHTUNG !
Werden Aluminiumrahmen mit dem Kunststoff-Klipsprofil K 1 bzw. K 2 oder Kunststoff-Halter SK, SK1, SK2 und
dem Kunststoff-Fensterrahmen verschweißt bzw. aufgeklipst, ist es erforderlich im Bereich der Schraubenköpfe am Eckwinkel
die Kunststoffprofile ca. 2 mm tief freizustellen.
Geschweißte Eckverbindung
Auf Anfrage können alle Flügel- und Blendrahmenprofile als geschweißte Rahmen auf Gehrung geschnitten, fertig pulverbeschichtet
geliefert werden. Setzpfosten, Kämpfer, Flügelsprossen und Stulpprofile werden lose und fertig
beschichtet geliefert. Eine Eloxalbeschichtung ist bei geschweißten Rahmen nicht möglich.
Stumpfe Eckverbindung (DECCO ART)
Eckverbindung mit Holzfenster-Optik.
Alle Flügel- und Blendrahmenprofile werden als fertige, beschichtete Rahmen geliefert . Setzpfosten, Kämpfer,
Flügelsprossen und Stulpprofile werden lose und fertig beschichtet geliefert.
Profilzuschnitt
Es wird empfohlen, die Profile mit Hartmetall bestückten Sägeblättern unter Einsatz von Kühlschmierstoff auf
Gehrungssägen mit mechanischem Vorschub und einer Spannvorrichtung zu schneiden.
Verglasungsdichtung am Kunststoff-Fenster
Bei der Montage des Aluminium-Profilsystems DECCO, ist am Flügel außen eine Verglasungsdichtung
einzusetzten, die ca. 3 mm über den Flügelüberschlag steht, es kann auch zusätzlich zur Standard Kunststofffenster-Systemdichtung
die GUTMANN Dichtung VD 8 eingesetzt werden wenn der abstand zwischen Aluminiumprofil und Glas 4 mm beträgt.
(siehe Zeichnung Verarbeitungshinweis).
Am Blendrahmenüberschlag ist ebenfalls eine Dichtung einzusetzen, die einen Spalt von ca. 2.5 mm abdeckt.

Mechanical corner joint punched
All sash and frame profiles are punched using the angle bracket EW 3000-4N.
First, the profiles are cut and degreased using a grease solvent. It is important to use a grease solvent which does
not damage the varnished face side. Then the angle brackets are pushed into the reception groove of the profiles,
the corners are pushed together, aligned and punched from above with a hydraulic punch.

Alternatively, a 90° mitre may be created using EW 3000-4S.The screws are then evenly tightened with a Torx T 30
screwdriver, in the direction of the mitre, until the thread of the screw catches perceptibly.
The adjustable angle bracket EW 3000-4V N is used with corners for diagonal elements .
The adjustable angle bracket is pushed into the reception groove of the aluminium profile and the corners are aligned.
ATTENTION!
If aluminium frames are welded or clipped onto plastic clip-on profile K1 or K2 or plastic
holder SK, SK1 or SK2 and the plastic window frame, the plastic profiles must be notched approx.
2 mm deep around the screw heads at the corner joint.
Welded corner joint
Upon request, all sash and frame profiles may be delivered as welded frames and in powder coated condition.
Mullions, transoms, sash crossbars and double rebated profiles are delivered in bulk and in coated condition.
Anodising is not possible for welded frames.

Profile cutting
It is recommended to cut profiles with carbide-tipped saw blades while using a cooling lubricant
on mitre saws with mechanical feed and a tightener.
Glazing gaskets in PVC windows
When the DECCO aluminium profile system is installed, a glazing gasket must be placed on the outside of the
sash with a sash projection of approx. 3 mm or use gasket VD 8 from GUTMANN if you use the standard gasket
of the respective PVC window system suppliers and you have 4 mm between aluminium and glass.
(see the processing note drawing).
A gasket must also be placed at the frame rebate projection to cover a gap of approx. 2.5 mm.

Die Montage der Aluminiumrahmen, bzw. einzelner Aluminiumprofile, erfolgt über die Verschweißung der PVC-Klipsprofile
K1 bzw. K2 mit den PVC-Fensterprofilen. Die PVC-Klipsprofile werden in die T-Nuten der Aluminiumprofile
eingeklipst (Profile mit 1 Nut: 3 Stück pro Meter, Profile mit 2 oder 3 Nuten: 6 Stück pro Meter).
Der Abstand zwischen den Klipsprofilen darf maximal 350 mm betragen.
Die Klipsprofile sollten soweit wie möglich im Bereich der Gehrungen eingeklipst werden.
Rahmen und Clipsprofile müssen nach Vorgaben der Kaltschweißmittelhersteller vorbehandelt werden, danach wird PVC-Kaltschweißmittel
auf die PVC-Klipsprofile aufgetragen. Anschließend wird der Aluminiumrahmen auf das Kunststoff-Fenster
positioniert und kurzfristig (je nach Kaltschweißmittel) parallel auf das Fensterprofil gepresst.
Für die Verklebung der Halter K1 und K2 ist ein UV-stabilisierter Diffusionsklebstoff (Kaltschweißmittel) mit mindestens 75%
Lösungsmittelanteil Tetrahydrofuran (Datenblatt Hersteller) geeignet, diese Empfehlung muss vom Kunststofffenstersystemgeber
auf dessen Profiloberflächen freigegeben werden. Wir empfehlen das PVC-Kaltschweißmittel des Kunststofffenstersystemgebers
Das Element muss nach Montage der Aluminium-Vorsatzschale mindestens 1 Tag im geschlossenen Zustand verweilen.

Die Montage von Anbauteilen wie z.B. von Bauanschlussprofilen, Kantteilen oder Rollladenführungsprofilen darf nicht
ausschließlich über die Aluminiumschale erfolgen. Die Lastabtragung von Anbauteilen muss direkt in die Profilkammern bzw.
die Armierung des Kunststofffensetersystems erfolgen. Eine ausreichende Entlastung der Aluminiumprofile erfolgt durch
Vorbohren und einsetzen von Distanzhülsen, die auf die jeweilige Schraubengröße abgestimmt sind.
Montage der fertigen Aluminiumrahmen durch Klipshalter SK, SK1, SK2, SK3, und SK4
Die Montage der Aluminiumrahmen kann auch durch Aufklipsen auf vormontierte Klipshalter erfolgen. Die Klipshalter werden je
nach Systemschnitt auf den PVC-Fensterprofilen positioniert und mit Senkkopf-Edelstahl-Schrauben 3 x 16 mm verschraubt. Bei
gestanzten Aluminiumrahmen ist der Klipshalter im Abstand von ca. 80 mm von der PVC-Rahmen-Innenecke zu montieren.
Weitere Klipshalter werden im Abstand maximal 300 mm montiert.
Nach dem Aufklipsen der Aluminiumrahmen müssen die Rahmen auf korrekten Sitz kontrolliert werden.
Empfohlene Zusatzmaßnahmen zur weiterene Optimierung der Bedienkräfte
-Einfetten der Schliesstücke und der Schliesszapfen durch die vom Beschlagshersteller definierten Schmiermittel.
-Zur besseren Anlage der Flügelschale am Flügelprofil kann der maximale Abstand der Klipsprofile auf 100 mm reduziert werden.
-Einsatz der vom Systemhaus vorgeschriebenen Schliesstücke für folienkaschierte Profile (mit geringerem Anpressdruck).
-Weitere systemspezifische Maßnahmen sind den Systemunterlagen zu entnehmen.

Assembly of the finish aluminium frame by welding K1 or K2 PVC clip-on profiles to the PVC window profile
To assemble the aluminium frames or individual aluminium profiles, the K1 or K2 PVC clip-on profiles are welded to the
PVC window profiles. The PVC clip-on profiles are clipped into the T-grooves of the aluminium profiles (profiles with 1
groove: 3 pieces per metre, profiles with 2 or 3 grooves: 6 pieces per metre).
The distance between the clip-on profiles must be no larger than 350 mm.
If at all possible, the clip-on profiles should be clipped into the mitre areas.
Frames and clip-on profiles must be pretreated according to the cold weld supplier specifications, then the PVC cold weld
material is applied to the PVC clip-on profiles. After that, the aluminium frame is positioned on the plastic window and briefly
(duration depending on the cold weld substance) pressed onto the window profile (parallel).
A UV-stabilised diffusion adhesive (cold weld substance) with a content of at least 75% of the solvent Tetrahydrofuran
(see manufacturer datasheet) is suitable for gluing the K1 and K2 holders. This recommendation must be approved for use
on the relevant profile surfaces by the PVC window systems supplier. We recommend the PVC window systems supplier's
PVC cold weld material. After installing the aluminium attachment shell, the material must rest in closed state for at least 1 day.

Attachments, such as connection profiles, edgings, and rolling shutter guide profiles, must not be installed exclusively via the
aluminium shell. The loads of attachments must be transferred directly into the profile chambers or the reinforcement of the
PVC window system. To relieve the aluminium profiles sufficiently, they are predrilled and spacers, which are adjusted to the
relevant screw size, are inserted.
Assembly of the finish aluminium frames by means of SK, SK1, SK2, SK3, and SK4 clip-on holders
The aluminium frames may also be assembled by clipping on pre-mounted clip-on holders. Depending on the system
cross-section, the clip-on holders are positioned on the PVC window profiles and screwed in with 3 x 16 mm stainless
steel countersunk screws. For punched aluminium frames, the clip-on holders must be mounted with a distance of 80 mm
from the inner corner of the PVC frame.
Other clip-on holders are mounted with a maximum of 300 mm between them.
Once the aluminium frame has been clipped on, the frame must be checked for proper fit.
Maximum frame dimensions
Frame profiles must not exceed lengths of 3.5 m due to temperature-related linear extension of the aluminium frames.
Due to processing conditions, the length of one side must be a maximum of 1.85 m for anodised frames and a maximum of
2 m for powder coated frames.
Recommended additional measures to optimise operating forces
- Grease the closure blocks and closing taps with lubricants approved by the fitting manufacturer.
- Reduce the maximum distance between the clip-on profiles to 100 mm to better attach the sash shell to the sash profile.
- Use the closure blocks indicated by the systems supplier for film-laminated profiles (with a low contact pressure).

degreased crossbar according to manufacturer instructions

stressed until the silicone has set.

Allgemein
Aluminium-Strangpressprofile
Nachdem es 1886 gelungen war, Aluminium mit Hilfe der
Schmelzflusselektrolyse in großtechnischem Maßstab
herzustellen, hat sich dieser Werkstoff rasch zu einem der
wichtigsten Gebrauchsmetalle entwickelt. Aufgrund des
geringen Gewichtes, der dekorativen Oberflächenbehandlung,
der leichten Bearbeitbarkeit und der enormen
Witterungsbeständigkeit hat Aluminium gerade im Baubereich
eine große Bedeutung erlangt.
Das Strangpressen von Aluminium-Werkstoffen ermöglicht -
wie keine andere Halbzeugfertigung - die Herstellung
vielfältigster Formen, vom einfachen Vollprofil bis zum
komplizierten Hohlprofil.
Beim Strangpressen ist das Werkzeug (Matrize) fest
eingespannt. Der Pressstempel mit vorgesetzter Pressscheibe
drückt den angewärmten Pressbolzen gegen den
Werkzeugsatz, der den Rezipienten an der Austrittseite
verschließt und staucht den Pressbolzen gegen die
Rezipienten-Innenwand. Dann beginnt das Austreten des
Pressstranges in gleicher Richtung wie die
Stempelvorwärtsbewegung.
Legierung der Aluminiumprofile:
EN AW 6060 T 66 (AlMgSi 0,5 F22)
GUTMANN System Profile entsprechen der DIN EN 12020
bzw. DIN EN 755.

General
Extruded aluminium profiles
After aluminium could finally be produced on a large scale by
means of fusion electrolysis in 1886, the material quickly
became one of the most important utility metals. The low
weight, decorative surface, easy workability and outstanding
weather resistance have made aluminium very significant for
the building industry.
Like no other semi-product manufacturing, aluminium extrusion
has facilitated the production of an enormous variety of shapes,
from simple solid profiles to complicated hollow profiles.
During extrusion the tool (mold) is clamped tightly. The
extrusion die with a projected disk pushes the heated ram
against the tooling, which closes off the recipient at the exit and
forces the ram against the inner recipient wall. The extruded
profile then exits in the same forward direction as the extrusion
die.
Aluminium profiles - Alloy:
EN AW 6060 T 66 (AlMgSi 0,5 F22)
GUTMANN system profiles follow DIN EN 12020 as well as
DIN EN 755.

costs and damage caused during possible disassembly and

Systemgeber erfolgen. Folgende Eigenschaften sollen durch das angebotene System nachgewiesen werden:
Konstruktionsaufbau
Fensterkonstruktion
Die Fensterkonstruktion ist entsprechend den
Systemangaben des Kunststoff-Fenstersystems und an
anderer Stelle beschriebenen Vorgaben auszuführen.
Die statischen Anforderungen sind alleine von den
unverkleideten Kunststoffprofilen zu gewährleisten.
Aluminium-Rahmen
Es ist ein flächenversetztes System anzubieten. Der
Versatz zwischen Blendrahmen und Flügel beträgt ca.
20 mm. Der Versatz zwischen Alu-Flügel-Profil und
Glas beträgt 25 mm. Am Stoß zwischen Rahmenprofil
und Sprosse / Pfosten / Riegel, muss ein Versatz von
ca. 1 mm hergestellt werden. Die Aluminiumprofile
müssen eine Rundung der Profilkante mit Radius 2 mm
aufweisen. Die Entwässerung des Falzbereiches erfolgt
unsichtbar durch verdeckte Entwässerungsöffnungen
oder sichtbar mit Entwässerungskappen.
Die Aluminiumprofile müssen vor Montage auf den
Kunststoffrahmen an den Ecken als komplette Rahmen
vorgefertigt werden, um plane und geschlossene
Eckverbindungen sicherzustellen. Das Aufbringen der
Alumiumrahmen in Einzelstücken ist grundsätzlich nicht
zugelassen, weil die Qualität der Gehrungstöße
dadurch beeinträchtigt wird. Die Ausführung der
Aluminium-Rahmen muss wahlweise mit mechanischer
oder verschweißter Verbindung möglich sein.
Folgende Ausführung ist vorgesehen:

Die Oberfläche der Aluminiumprofile sind wahlweise
eloxiert nach DIN 17611 oder pulverbeschichtet nach
GSB-Standard oder gleichwertig anzubieten.

Befestigung des Aluminium-Rahmens
Die Befestigung des Aluminium-Rahmens auf dem
Kunststoffrahmen erfolgt über PVC-Klipsprofile, die in
die Aluprofile eingeklipst und mit Kaltschweißkleber auf
dem Kunststoffrahmen verklebt werden. Als Kleber sind
nur die jeweilig durch das Kunststoff-Systemhaus
vorgesehenen Kleber zu verwenden. Das angebotene
System muss bei Bedarf auch zusätzlich die
Befestigung der Alurahmen mittels geschraubter
Klipshalter ermöglichen. Die spannungsfreie Dehnung
der Aluminiumschale zum Kunststoffrahmen wird durch
den Einsatz elastischer Klipsprofile sichergestellt, um
das Öffnen von Gehrungsstößen bei
temperaturbedingter Längenänderung zu vermeiden.
Dichtungen
Als Dichtung für die äußere Andichtung des Glases an
den Rahmen und zur Abdichtung zwischen Flügel und
Rahmen wird der Einsatz von
Kunststoff-Fenstersystemdichtungen empfohlen, die ca.
3 mm über den Überschlag hervorstehen und mit der
Aluschale bündig abschließen.

For aluminium cladding of PVC windows and doors
General requirements
The aluminium profiles are to be offered in anodised EN AW-6060 T 66 and in accordance with DIN EN 12020. Building
must follow all relevant standards and guidelines, common laws of engineering as well as the system
developer's specifications. The offered system is to feature the following properties verifiably:
Construction
Window construction
The window construction must be performed in accordance
with the system information provided
by the PVC window systems suppliers and all
other specifications. The structural requirements
must be met by the unclad PVC profiles alone.
Aluminium frame
Provide an offset system. Frame and sash are offset
approx. 20 mm. Aluminium sash profile and glass are
offset 25 mm. Frame profile and crossbar / mullion /
transom must each be offset approx. 1 mm at the joint. The
aluminium profiles must be rounded with a radius of 2 mm.
The rebate area is drained invisibly via concealed drainage
openings or visibly with drainage caps.
Before being mounted on the PVC frame, the aluminium
profile corners must be preassembled into complete frames
in order to ensure plane and closed corner joints. The
aluminium frame must never be mounted in its individual
pieces as this impacts the quality of the mitre joints. The
aluminium frame must be able to be joined either
mechanically or welded.

Attaching the aluminium frame
The aluminium frame is fastened on the plastic frame via
PVC clip-on profiles that are clipped into the aluminium
profiles and glued to the PVC frame with cold weld
adhesive. Only adhesives approved by the respective PVC
systems suppliers must be used. In addition, the system
offered must also allow the aluminium frames to be
fastened via screwed clip-on holders if necessary. The
tension-free expansion of the aluminium shell towards the
PVC frame is ensured by using elastic clip-on profiles to
prevent the opening of mitre joints during linear extension
caused by temperature changes.
Gaskets
As a gasket for the outer seal between glass and frame
and between sash and frame, we recommend using PVC
window system gaskets that project approx. 3 mm from the
overhang and thus lie flush with the aluminium shell.
The aluminium profiles are to be offered either with
anodised surfaces in accordance with DIN 17611 or
powder coated according to GSB or equivalent.

zur Oberflächenveredelung
Pulverbeschichten von Aluminium
Durch das Pulverbeschichten von Aluminiumprofilen kann
jedem Farbwunsch nach der RAL-Karte Rechnung getragen
werden. Gerade für die dekorative Verwendung in der Außenarchitektur
bietet sich die breite Farbpalette an.
Die elektrostatische Pulverbeschichtung ist ein relativ junges,
aber bewährtes Lackierverfahren, welches dekorative und
wertbeständige sowie dauerhafte Oberflächen erzeugt.
Die Pulverbeschichtung unserer Aluminiumprofile
wird von Partnerfirmen Durchgeführt die
der "Internationalen Gütergemeinschaft für
die Stückbeschichtung von Bauteilen - GSB"
angeschlossen sind.
Kontaktstellen bei Eloxalbeschichtung
An den Enden von eloxierten Aluminiumprofilen kommt es im
Bereich von ca. 50 mm zu Kontaktstellen, die nicht für
Sichtflächen geeignet sind.
Filiformkorrosion und Voranodisation
Im küstennahen Bereich bis zu einer Entfernung von 30 km
zum Meer können bei pulverbeschichteten Bauteilen
Schädigungen durch Filiformkorrosion auftreten. Zur
Vermeidung der Filiformkorrosion wird empfohlen, statt der
herkömmlichen Vorbehandlung (Chromatieren) eine
Voranodisation durchzuführen, die dann ausdrücklich in der
Anfrage und der Bestellung gefordert werden muss.
Verbindlichkeit hinsichtlich Farbton und Glanz können aus dem
Gutmann-Farbfächer nicht abgeleitet werden, da Farbunterschiede
zu den Originalfarben aufgrund unterschiedlicher
Herstellungsverfahren und Pigmentirung nicht ausgeschlossen
sind.
Der Gutmann-Farbfächer dient deshalb nur zur orientierenden
Übersicht und ist nicht als Produktionsvorlage geeignet.
Zur besonderen Beachtung
Pulverlacke in ihrem Farbton, wie alle anderen Lacke und
Farben sind fertiggunstechnischen Toleranzen und Schwankungen
unterworfen.
Ebenso kann davon ausgegangen werden, dass
RAL-Farbtöne, die von unterschiedlichen Beschichtern
stammen, in der Regel nicht optisch übereinstimmen, da meist
Pulverlacke unterschiedlicher Hersteller verwendet werden.
Das bedeutet, dass seitens des Kunden unbedingt darauf
geachtet werden muss, dass sämtliche Bauteile, die nebeneinander
am Gebäude ingebaut werden, gleichzeitig in einer
Charge zu beauftragen sind. Ist dies nicht möglich, sind
unbedingt besondere Absprachen mit unseren Mitarbeitern zu
treffen.
In puncto Nachfolgewerke bedarf es diesbezüglich generell
einer separaten Abstimmung.
Zudem kann es insbesondere bei Metallicfarben - wie z.B.
RAL 9006, RAL 9007 sowie den DB-Oberflächen 701, 702, 703
etc., bedingt durch die verschiedenen physikalischen Gegebenheiten
bei der elektrostatischen Applikation dieser Pulverlacke
vorkommen, dass Unterschiede im Erscheinungsbild dieser
Oberfläche auftreten.

for surface finishing
Powder Coating Aluminium
Aluminium profiles may be powder coated in any color on the
RAL chart. This board selection of colors is especially useful
for decorative purpses in outdoor architecture.
Electrostatic powder coating is a rather young yet proven
lacquering method, which produces decorative, consistent, and
long-lasting surfaces.
Our aluminium profiles are powder coated by
partner companies, which all folow the
"Guidelines for the Piecwork of Coating
Building Componenst by GSB-International" .
Contact points dor anodizing
The ends of anodized aluminium profiles from contact points
within 50 mm, which are not suitable for face sides.
Filiform corrosion and pre-anodization
Structural components may suffer damage from filliform
corrosion in coastal areas up to 30 km from the ocean. In order
to avoid filliform corrosion, it is recommended to pre-anodize
instead of the typical pretreating (chromating) This must be
indicated separately in inquiries and orders.
The exact shade and luster from GUTMANN color chat may not
be guaranteed as different color outcome.
Therefore the GUTMANN color chart chould not be used as a
model for production but rather as an overview.
Important Notice
Powder paints, like all other lacquers and paints, are subject to
profuct tolerances and variations.
In the same way, RAL colors from different coating plants do
generally not look exactly alike since the plants procure powder
paints from different manufacturers.
This means that customers must order all compnents to be
placed next to one another on the building in one charge. If this
is not possible, be sure to make special arrangements with one
of our employees.
Subsequent works must be arranged separately as well.
Different physical conditions in electrostatic application of
powder paints may make the surfaces appear different,
esqecially those of metal paints such as RAL 9006, RAL 9007
and DB surface 701, 702, 703, and so on.

Montageanweisungen für Aluminium und Systemzubehör
Assembly instructions for aluminium and system accessories
Aluminium Cst eines der edelsten und dekorativsten Metalle,
die in der Baubranche Verwendung finden. Entsprechend
sorgfältig ist bei der Montage von Aluminiumteilen auf die
folgenden Hinweise zu achten.
Die Montage und Bauandichtung der Aluminium-Systemprofile
von Gutmann sollte nach den „Richtlinien der RAL-Gütesicherung
Montage" erfolgen.
Operflächenschutz
Aluminiumbauteile dürfen Kratz- und Stoßbeanspruchungen
nicht ausgesetzt werden. Ihr Einbau sollte erst nach
Beendigung der Mauer-, Stuck- und Putz- sowie Werksteinund
Plattenarbeiten erfolgen, um eine Einwirkung von z.B.
Kalk- und Zementspritzern auf die Oberfläche zu vermeiden.
Verunreinigungen durch alkalische Substanzen müssen sofort
entfernt werden, da Schäden an der Baustelle meistens nicht
mehr behoben werden können.
Werden Mauer- und Putzarbeiten erst nach dem Einbau der
anodisch oxidierten oder beschichteten Aluminium-Bauteile
durchgeführt, sind diese zum Schutz vor Beschädigung und
Verschmutzung durch Baumaterialien mit dazu geeigneten
selbsthaftenden, UV-beständigen Kunststoff-Folien
abzudecken.
Die Schutzfolie ist vor der Auslieferung anzubringen, da diese
zusätzlich vor Transportschäden schützt.
Materialverträglichkeit
GUTMANN Systemprofile werden wetterbeständig und
dauerhaft beschichtet. Das Systemzubehör wird aus
hochwertigen Materialien hergestellt. GUTMANN Systeme
können daher problemlos mit vielen Materialien verbaut
werden, die bei der Montage am Bau zur Anwendung
kommen. Bei Einsatz von Substanzen, die üblicherweise
keinen Kontakt zu GUTMANN Systemprofilen oder -zubehör
haben, ist die Verträglichkeit vorab zu prüfen.
Metalle wie Blei, Kupfer oder kupferhaltige Legierungen (z. B.
Messing) dürfen nicht zusammen mit Aluminium eingebaut
werden (auch nicht im Flüssigkeitsbereich). Bauteile aus
Edelstahl können mit Aluminium problemlos verarbeitet
werden.
Aluminium is one of the most precious and decorative metals
used in construction. Therefore the following guidelines must
be observed when installing aluminium components:
Installation and sealing of GUTMANN aluminium system
profiles should follow the "RAL Quality Assurance Guidelines
for Installation".
Surface Protection
Aluminium components must not be exposed to scratching or
impact stresses. The components should only be installed
after all bricklaying, stucco decoration, plastering, natural
stone work, and stone flooring is completed so that the
surface remains free of lime or cement splatter.
Contamination by alkaline substances must be removed
immediately as this type of damage can often not be repaired
on site.
If brickwork and plastering are completed after installing
anodized or color coated aluminium components, the
components must be protected from damage and soiling with
construction material by applying appropriate self-adhesive
UV-resistant plastic foils.
The protective foil must be applied before delivery of the item
as it serves as additional protection from transport damage.
Compatibility of Material
GUTMANN system profiles are weatherproof and permanently
coated. System accessories are made from high-quality
materials. GUTMANN systems therefore work well with many
materials commonly used in construction. When introducing
substances not normally related to GUTMANN system profiles
or accessories, compatibility must be tested beforehand.
Metals such as lead, copper, or cupreous alloys (e.g. brass)
must not be installed together with aluminium (not in liquid
state either). Stainless-steel elements may be processed
together with aluminium without a problem.
Fastening
Aluminium profiles (such as rolling shutter profiles, metal
window sills, and weather bars) must always be fastened with
V2A stainless-steel screws.
Befestigung
Die Befestigung von Aluminiumprofilen (z. B. Rolladenprofile,
Metallfensterbänke, Regenschutzschienen) muss
grundsätzlich mit Schrauben aus Edelstahl V2A vorgenommen
werden.
Längenausdehnung
Da Aluminium ein anderes Ausdehnungsverhalten hat, sollte
keine feste Einbindung in Putz oder Baukörper vorgenommen
werden. Die Befestigung zwischen Aluminium und Baukörper
sollte grundsätzlich gleitend ausgebildet sein. Die
Längenänderung beträgt ca. 1,2 mm/m bei 50 °
Temperaturunterschied.
Linear Extension
Due to differing linear extension, aluminium should not be
directly incorporated into the plaster or structure. Connections
of aluminium and building structure should always be gliding.
At a temperature difference of 50 °C, linear extension amounts
to 1.2 mm/m.
Lengths of over 3000 mm should not be installed without
expansion joints.

Reinigung von Aluminium im Bauwesen
Aluminium cleaning in construction
Aluminium findet im Fenster- und Fassadenbau aufgrund seines
niedrigen Gewichtes, seiner Beständigkeit und vor allem wegen
seiner dekorativen Oberfläche vielfältige Anwendung.
Um das dekorative Aussehen der Aluminium-Bauteile zu
erhalten, ist eine Reinigung abhängig vom Verschmutzungsgrad
durch Umwelteinflüsse und dem Empfinden des Bauherren in
bestimmten Intervallen erforderlich.
Nach Montage der Bauteile und vor der Bauabnahme muss
eine Grundreinigung erfolgen, um vorhandenen Schmutz zu
entfernen. Hierzu sind saubere Tücher oder Schwämme zu
verwenden.
Reinigen von eloxierten Oberflächen
Eloxierte Oberflächen werden mit warmem Wasser, dem ein
chlorfreies Reinigungsmittel (z. B. Spülmittel) zugegeben wird,
gereinigt. Es sollte nur mit einem Tuch oder Schwamm und
Wasser gearbeitet werden.
Bei stark verschmutzten Oberflächen empfehlen wir den Einsatz
von speziellen Eloxalreinigern, deren Reinigungswirkung durch
Abrasivstoffe erreicht wird.
Reinigen von pulverbeschichteten Oberflächen
Bei pulverbeschichteten Bauteilen werden leichte
Verschmutzungen, in der gleichen Art wie bei eloxierten
Bauteilen beschrieben, beseitigt. Nach der Reinigung sollte mit
klarem Wasser gut nachgespült werden.
Für stark verschmutzte Bauteile sind spezielle Reinigungsmittel
wie Lackreiniger und Polituren zu verwenden, z. B. GUTMANN:
→ Abrasivreiniger für beschichtete Profile
→ Vorreiniger für beschichtete Profile
→ Außenpflege für beschichtete Profile
Oberflächenschäden
Für beschädigte Oberflächen werden Farbsprays von
GUTMANN angeboten:
→ Eloxalspray in den Farben EV 1, G 214 und G 216
→ Farbspray in weiß RAL 9016

Due to its low weight, its durability, and especially its decorative
surface, aluminium has many uses in window and curtain wall
construction.
In order to maintain the decorative appearance of aluminium
components, it is necessary to clean them on a regular basis.
The frequency depends on the degree of pollution and the
constructor's preferences.
The components must be thoroughly cleaned and freed of all
dirt before installation and final inspection. Clean rags or
sponges should be used for this.
Cleaning Anodized Surfaces
Anodized surfaces should be cleaned using warm water with a
chlorine free cleaning agent (such as dishwashing detergent).
Only rags or sponges should be used for cleaning.
For badly soiled surfaces, we recommend using a special
abrasive-based cleanser for anodized surfaces.
Cleaning Powder Coated Surfaces
Mildly soiled powder coated components are cleaned just like
anodized surfaces (see description above). After cleaning the
items should be rinsed with clean water.
For severely soiled components, special cleaning agents, such
as lacquer cleaners and polishing agents should be used, e.g.

→ exterior cleanser for coated profiles
