UIM SKYDIVE DUBAI XCAT World Series
The UIM XCAT World Series set
out to revolutionize the sport of offshore
power boating with a new
approach. Under the leadership of
Dubai based World Professional Powerboat
Association (WPPA), sanctioned
by UIM the world governing
body of powerboat racing and with
full backing of the government of
Dubai the UIM XCAT World Series
is plotting the course to undoubtedly
the most professional and international
powerboat racing yet.
With affordable yet spectacular
race boats, attractive prize money,
strong fleets, smart logistics, a
spectator friendly format, high-tech
media coverage and international
TV distribution the UIM XCAT World
Series advances into a global circuit
in 2014. Fourteen venues across the
Middle East, Asia, Europe and the
Americas have signed up and 2015
will see the addition of venues in
Africa and Australia.
The UIM XCAT WORLD SERIES
is raced in up to 10 metres long
multi-hulls built with advanced carbon
fibre technology which are
powered by two outboard engines
providing massive horse power,
totaling 600 hp and up to 5,000cc
using eco friendly fuels. But innovation
does not stop here. 2016 will see
the introduction of the new state of
the art XCAT PRO class which will
revolutionize the sport. The existing
XCAT yachts will continue racing in
an amateur series alongside the new
XCAT PRO class.
