1883:
Lewis Edson Waterman erfi ndet den ersten funktionstüchtigen Füllfederhalter.
Lewis Edson Waterman revolutionized writing by inventing the fi rst practical fountain pen, The Regular. Over the following years the bold
designs of WATERMAN pens were regarded as objets d’art.
1907:
Entwicklung des Le Safety, einem Füller, der eine einziehbare Feder besitzt, absolut auslaufsicher ist und sich dadurch besonders gut zum
Mitführen in der Handtasche eignet.
WATERMAN stretched its creative wings with launch of Le Safety. The retractable nib, designed to prevent leakage, also created a unique
design element that was quite bold for its time.
1953:
Die Serie CF (=Cartridge Filled) wird eingeführt und wird für 27 Jahre zur erfolgreichsten Waterman Exklusiv-Serie. Für den CF wurde der
typische offen gestaltete Clip entworfen, der heute Merkmal aller Waterman Schreibgeräte ist.
WATERMAN drew creative inspiration from modernism with Le CF which bears the futuristic lines of a rocket ship. Le CF also pioneered the
WATERMAN clip still seen today.
1983:
Zum 100 Jährigen Jubiläum bringt Waterman den MAN 100 heraus.
WATERMAN marked 100 years of creativity by launching a masterpiece. The popular shape of Le Man 100 was later produced in various
colours and materials including plastic, wood, lacquer and metallic fi nishes. The elliptical and futuristic shape of Edson, inspired by the
aeronautic fl uidity of Le CF, revealed an iconic reference in WATERMAN’s history of creativity.
1992:
Mit dem Edson Füllfederhalter schreibt Waterman im 110. Jahr seines Bestehens ein neues Kapitel in der Geschichte der Schreibgeräte.

1999:
Der völlig neuartige Sérénité rundet das Sortiment ab. Er erinnert an eine geschwungene Feder und sorgt damit für Aufsehen.
Rolling back the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship, WATERMAN unveiled the strikingly original design of Sérénité, a pen that
stands vertically tall as no pen has dared before.
2005:
Mit dem Exception erschafft Waterman ein edel lackiertes Schreib-Accessoire im Viereckformat.
WATERMAN’s Exception continued to break new boundaries with its remarkable quadrangular shape.
2012:
