Bandagen | Drums 

BOMAG bietet vier verschiedene Bandagenformen an: 

Glatt-/Stampffuß-/Polygon- und Felsbrecherbandagen 

Die Glattbandagen (1) bieten eine Vielzahl von Vorteilen: 

Sie sind hinsichtlich Materialqualität, Mantelstärke zur besten 

Verdichtung, und hoher Laufzeit optimal abgestimmt. 

Die großen Freiräume zwischen Bandage und Rahmen in 

Verbindung mit der Anordnung der Abstreifer lassen das 

abgestreifte Material optimal abfließen und verhindern 

Blockaden an der Bandage durch Materialaufbau. 

Durch Umrüstung der Glattbandage mit einem Stampffußsegment 

(2), kann die Maschine an sich ändernde Einsatzbedingungen 

angepasst werden. 

Das einzigartige Design der BOMAG Polygonbandage (3) 

steht für extreme Tiefenwirkung. Zusätzlich wird eine 

bessere Traktion durch den Polygonkörper erreicht. 

Durch den Selbstreinigungseffekt sind keine Abstreifer 

erforderlich. 

Die BOMAG Felsbrecherbandage (4) ist speziell zur 

Zertrümmerung von Gestein ausgelegt. Die Form der Zähne 

mit den hoch verschleißfesten Platten und den Messern 

zwischen den Zähnen sorgen für eine optimale Zerkleinerung 

des Gesteins. 

BOMAG provides four different kinds of drums: 

smooth drum, pad foot drum, polygonal drum and rock 

crushing drum. 

The smooth drum (1) is full of smart features: 

They are optimally matched to shell –quality and –thickness 

for best compaction and long run time of the machine. 

The elevated front section on the BOMAG front frame 

creates extra room between drum and frame which enables 

the scraped off material to run off. This avoids blockades on 

the drums. 

Smooth drums can be easily converted into pad foot drums 

(2) with a segmented shell. This greatly expands the scope 

of use. 

The polygonal drum (3) has revolutionised soil compaction. 

The geometry allows optimum introduction of energy into 

the soil and achieves previously unattainable compaction 

depths. Fill layers can be doubled using the polygonal drum! 

Due to the self-cleaning effect, scrapers are not necessary. 

The BOMAG rock drum (4) is used for crushing and 

compacting hard consolidated rock. The shape of the teeth 

as well as high wear-resistant plates and the knives 

between the teeth ensures optimum rock crushing effects.

Die BOMAG Original Gummipuffer an der Bandage wurden 

speziell für die einzelnen Bandagentypen entwickelt und gewährleisten 

optimalen Fahrkomfort ohne störende Vibrationen. 

Sie zeichnen sich durch hohe Standzeiten aus, die aufgrund 

der Geometrieoptimierung und damit erzielte homogenere 

Spannungsverteilung erreicht werden. BOMAG Original 

Gummipuffer bestehen aus hochwertigem Naturkautschuk 

und reduzieren die Körperschallübertragung. 

BOMAG genuine rubber buffer were specially developed for 

each type of drums. They guarantee optimal driving comfort 

without disturbing vibrations. They are characterised by 

a long service life, which was achieved by geometry optimisation 

which lead to a more homogeneous distribution 

of stresses. BOMAG genuine rubber buffer are made from 

high-quality natural rubber and reduce the transmission of 

structure-borne sound.

Abstreifer Stampffußbandagen | Scraper Pad Foot Drums 

Patentiert und einzigartig: Die BOMAG Original Abstreiferzähne 

der Stampffußbandage sind an Balken zusammengefasst 

und lassen sich in kürzester Zeit zentral verstellen. 

Durch das spezielle Profil der Zähne werden Reibungsverluste 

minimiert. Die Zahnkappen werden aus hochverschleißfestem, 

gehärteten Mangan-Stahl hergestellt. Im Falle eines 

Falles sind sie mittels des Ein- und Austreibedorns einfach 

und schnell austauschbar. 

Patented and unique: The BOMAG genuine scraper teeth 

are attached to a beam and can be centrally adjusted. The 

special tooth profile minimises friction losses. The tooth caps 

are made from high wear-resistant, tempered manganese 

steel and can be individually replaced.

BCM net – Lückenlose Transparenz für mehr Wirtschaftlichkeit. 

Die Vernetzung mehrerer Walzen auf einer Baustelle schafft 

erstmals die Möglichkeit, das komplette Verdichtungsbild 

einer gesamten Baustelle zu erhalten. Mit BCM net werden 

nicht nur die Daten einer Maschine, sondern die Daten 

aller am Verdichtungsprozess beteiligten Maschinen erfasst 

und auf einem Bildschirm dargestellt. 

Hierzu werden die Walzen mit GPS-Empfängern ausgerüstet 

und über ein drahtloses Netzwerk miteinander verbunden. 

Sie senden permanent ihre Position, die Verdichtungswerte 

und andere notwendige Parameter wie 

beispielsweise die Asphalttemperatur oder die Geschwindigkeit 

an den Server. 

Die Daten werden alle 5 Sekunden aktualisiert und der 

Server verteilt das neue „Bild“ an alle Nutzer im Netz. 

So kann jeder Walzenfahrer den eigenen Verdichtungsfortschritt 

und den der anderen Maschinen verfolgen.

Networking several rollers on site provides an opportunity 

to create an overall picture of compaction over the entire 

site. With BCM net, not only the data from one machine, 

but data from all machines involved in the compaction 

work can be recorded and displayed on one screen. 

For this, the rollers are equipped with GPS receivers and 

connected up via a wireless network. They permanently 

transmit their positions, the compaction results and other 

necessary parameters, such as the asphalt temperature or 

speed to the server. 

The data is updated every 5 seconds and the server 

distributes the new „picture“ to all network users. 

This enables every roller operator to follow their own 

compaction progress and that of the other machines.
