fluorescent lamp with a specific light-spectrum of

NARVA Special „Oceanic Colour" ist eine 

Leuchtstofflampe mit verstärkten Rot- und 

Blauanteil im sichtbaren Spektrum. Dadurch 

werden • die Chlorophyllsynthese und die damit 

verbundenen photobiologischen Prozesse der 

Pflanzen stimuliert. Die roten, orangen und blauen 

Farbtöne der Fische werden hervorgehoben. Als 

alleinige Beleuchtung für Süßwasseraquarien ist

lamp with enhanced red and blue bands in the 

visible spectrum. This lamp stimulates the 

chlorophyll-synthesis and the photo-biological 

processes of the plants in freshwater aquariums. 

The red, oranges and blue tones of the fish are 

accentuated. As the sole lighting for freshwater 

aquariums, this lamp is however not suitable, 

since thereby the danger of an excessive 

promotion of the growth of algae exists.

NARVA Special "Oceanic Light" is a fullspectrum-lamp, 

whose light is similar to sunlight. 

The colour-temperature of the lamp (4000 Kelvin) 

leaves the light more reddish, appears therefore 

more warm. The balanced red and blue share of 

this lamp causes that the plants grow in 

freshwater aquariums optimally and the algagrowth 

is hindered simultaneously with it. The 

colours of the fish and plants are returned in their 

full beauty.
