The X-seriesamplifiers offer clean, dynamic sound quality and reliabilitythat pros depend on. The front panel shows two gain controlsfor easy access and the main switch. The LED display informsabout the condition of the amplifiers. The rear side shows twoXLR input connectors and two XLR output connectors (link).The input sensivity (gain) is 32 dB at all models. TwoSPEAKON© outputs and four binding posts (not at X6000)are mounted at the rear side. The SPEAKON© connector ofoutput 1 (left) is connected at all four poles. This connectoroffers the output signal of channel 2 (right) at the pins 2 (+/-).This enables a four-pole connection of two-way speakersystems with one speaker cable only. The bridged output isavailable at the binding posts. The X-series amplifiers can beswitched into three different operation modes: stereo, paralleland bridge mode. The limiters can be switched on or off. An derFrontseite befinden sich zwei versenkte Level-Potentiometermit Rasterung sowie der Netzschalter. Das leicht ablesbareLED Display informiert über den Betriebszustand derEndstufen. An der Rückseite befinden sich zweiEingangsbuchsen und 2 Ausgangsbuchsen (Link) in XLRBauweise. Die Eingangsempfindlichkeit aller Modelle der X-Serie beträgt 32 dB. Die Leistungsausgänge beider Kanäle sindin SPEAKON© Variante ausgeführt. Am Ausgang 1 liegt aufden Pins 2 (+/-) zusätzlich das Signal des Ausgangs 2 an. Diesermöglicht eine vierpolige Verkabelung von 2-WegeLautsprechersystemen. Die Leistungsausgänge beider Kanälesowie der Bridge Ausgang stehen ebenso über Binding Postszur Verfügung (nicht bei X6000). Die Betriebsmodi Stereo,Parallel und Bridge können über einen Schalter ausgewähltwerden. Der Limiter kann an einem Schalter ein- oderausgeschaltet werden. Alle Modelle der X-Serie verfügen übereine Einschaltverzögerung mittels Relais, welche dasAnsprechen von Netzsicherungen verhindern. All NOVA X-seriesamplifiers are equipped with following safety circuits:► Back EMF protectionSpeakers are a complex and reactive load for an amplifier. Because ofthe high damping factor of all NOVA amplifiers the EMF effectfigures not during normal operation. In case of a defective speakerthe energy could be sent back to an amplifier. This energy is very highand could destroy parts like transistors of an amplfier without backEMF (Electro-Motive-Force) protection. All NOVA amplifiers areequipped with a back EMF protection and protect from thosedamages.► Short circuit protectionA short cicuit in a speaker or cable could destroy the transistors of anamplfier. All NOVA amplifiers are equipped with a short circuitprotection. This protects the amplifier from those damages.► Overheating protectionAll NOVA ampifiers are equipped with sensors at the transistors andtransformers. Because of permanent monitoring of temperature thebuilt-in fans make sure of sufficient cooling.► HF protectionExtremely high frequencies could destroy the voice coils of theconnected loudspeakers.
