Luminale – How the programme is developed
Luminale is a concerted effort, based on an initiative by Messe Frankfurt.
On the occasion of Light+Building Luminale involves various
spheres: the lighting industry, showing product innova tions in practice,
as well as citizens’ initiatives, all using light as a medium in the
competition for venues. At the same time all programme contributors
remain soloists. Each project is autonomously organis ed and financed.
The network between the projects is link ed by the Luminale Project
Office, which animates, moderates and sometimes even curates.
Luminale is prototype for events in a new format, organised
de-centrally and where great attractions can be achieved even on tight
budgets. The subject of light creates the communal umbrella Luminale.
Under this umbrella low-budget student projects meet professional,
expertly implemented productions.

This programme booklet will help to plan your Luminale evening.
It serves as a navigator through the extensive programme of events and
should help you to make the right choices. It is probably not humanly
possible to take in all the events.
Luminale on the Internet
The complete programme can be found as a download at:
www.luminale.de. On Facebook “Luminale” you can find
up-to-date tips and changes in the programme.
The free Luminale Frankfurt Bus
interconnects the venues within the Frankfurt city zone.
From March 13th to 18th the buses run every 15 minutes
from 18.00 to 01.00 h. Please embark and disembark as you wish
along the way.
Den kostenlosen Offen bach-Luminale-Express
vom 13. bis 18. März gibt es von Frankfurt (Haltestelle Paulsplatz) nach
Offenbach und dort auf einem Rundkurs.
Die Busse fahren im 60-Minuten-Takt ab 18.00 h.
Letzte Rückfahrt nach Frankfurt/Main 23.00 h.
Eine Luminale-Stadt r und fahrt
„Highlights der Luminale“ bietet die Kulturo thek an.
Start: vom 13.3. bis 18.3. täglich um 20.00 h ab Paulsplatz/Paulskirche.

befindet sich der Luminale Info-Counter im Foyer der Halle 4.1
Übergang zwischen Light+Building und Luminale
ist der Eingang City. Dort ist die Haltestelle der Luminale-Buslinie.
