We are living in a digital age and are constantly
developing further in line with the demands our
customers place on us, our work and with that on
our products. At the LogiMAT that took place in March 2016,
Logata Digital Solutions presented the new “Business AppStore
for Logistics” – based on the experiences made with the
logistics mall during the first years, our specialists have taken
up the course of optimizing the product, extended it according
to the customers’ wishes and also adapted its design.
Now software components can be combined in an easy and
secure way in the form of apps. Also new to the logistics mall
is wps, the warehouse management system of Lanfer Systemhaus.
Micro-services now ensure even more user-friendliness
– read more about it on page 24. Lanfer Automation,
too, provides an exciting insight into their work in this issue.
The automation specialists are the “extended workbench”
of SN Maschinenbau: the global leader in the production
of rotary-type horizontal machines. LEBO shows its export
strength from Austria to Bucharest and provides an insight
into diverse projects. In the field of logistics, we will present
you our location in Birmingham, Britain, and will show you
how the returns of the textile company BONITA are managed
at the location in Duisburg. The future is our common path
and for that young and fresh minds are just as important as
the valuable experiences of our employees who have been
loyal to us for many years or decades. To them we have also
dedicated a few pages of this magazine – to say thank you.
