2013 ist die Gartenschau überall!
Hamburg ist weit mehr als eine aufregende Metropole. Hamburg ist
auch Teil einer attraktiven Metropolregion! Die Internationale Gartenschau
findet daher nicht nur an einem Ort statt. Alle fünf Kulturlandschaften
in Hamburg und um Hamburg herum sowie zwanzig
landschaftliche oder touristische Attraktionen in den umliegenden
Landkreisen machen die Gartenschau 2013 zu einem Event der Hamburger
Metropolregion.
Im südlichen Ausstellungsbereich „Lebendige Kulturlandschaften“
zeigt die Metroploregion ihre Vielfalt und Schönheit: die Formen- und
Farbenpracht ihrer Landschaften, ihr Obst, Gemüse und Handwerk,
ihre Kunst und Kultur. Und lockt mit zwanzig ausgewählten Ausflugszielen,
mit Wanderwegen, Freilichtmuseen, Rosarien, Kloster- und
Festungsanlagen zu vielen spannenden Orte.

In 2013 the garden show will be everywhere!
Hamburg is much more than an exciting metropolis. Hamburg is also
part of an attractive metropolitan region! The international garden
show will therefore not only be held in one location. All five cultural
heritage regions in and around Hamburg, as well as twenty scenic
and tourist attractions in the surrounding rural districts will make
the garden show 2013 an event that incorporates the whole Hamburg
metropolitan region.
The metropolitan regions will show their diversity and beauty in the
“cultural heritage regions” zone situated in the south of the site: they
will present the rich abundance of shapes and colours, the fruit, vegetables
and handicrafts of these regions, as well as their art and culture.
They will also entice visitors with twenty selected excursions to a
large number of fascinating locations, with trails, open-air museums,
rose gardens, monastery and fortress sites.
