Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
auch im Jahr 2018 findet in Dortmund wieder
das absolute Highlight der Eventbranche statt:
Die „BOE International“ öffnet am 10. und 11.
Januar in der Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund
ihre Tore. Darüber freue ich mich sehr
und heiße Sie ganz herzlich in unserer Stadt
willkommen.
Dortmund ist eine Stadt mit einem prall gefüllten
Veranstaltungskalender. Das Spektrum reicht von großen Sportveranstaltungen
über Konzerte weltbekannter Künstlerinnen und Künstler
bis hin zu viel beachteten Ausstellungen und Messen. Da passt es hervorragend,
dass auf der BOE in Dortmund das „who is who“ der Eventbranche
zusammenkommt. Die Messe ist eine ausgezeichnete Gelegenheit, sich
über neueste Trends in der Event-Branche zu informieren und neue Geschäftskontakte
zu knüpfen. Bester Beleg für die Beliebtheit der BOE sind
die Jahr für Jahr steigenden Aussteller- und Besucherzahlen.
Die Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund als führender Messestandort Westfalens
bildet den passenden Rahmen für die „BOE International“. Denn hier
herrschen beste Bedingungen für eine gelungene Messe. Seit 2016 ist die
BOE eine Eigenveranstaltung der Dortmunder Messegesellschaft. Dies ist
ein eindeutiges Zeichen für eine zukunftsorientierte Gestaltung des Messeprogramms
am Standort Dortmund. Das gleiche gilt für das Messegelände.
Mit dem Bau eines neuen Eingangsportals macht sich unser Messe standort
gerade fit für die Zukunft. Das begrüße ich außerordentlich. Bereits vollständig
modernisiert worden ist das Kongresszentrum Westfalenhallen, in
dem auch der diesjährige Street-Food-Kongress stattfindet. Überzeugen Sie
sich selbst von der deutlich gesteigerten Aufenthaltsqualität.
Sowohl den Ausstellerinnen und Ausstellern als auch den Gästen wünsche
ich, dass Sie Ihre Ziele auf der BOE erreichen – und auch wenn beim
Besuch der Messe bestimmt keine Langeweile aufkommt, sind Sie herzlich
eingeladen, unsere Stadt näher kennenzulernen. Es lohnt sich.

Dortmund will again be the venue of THE absolute
highlight of the event sector in 2018:
“BOE International" will open its doors at the
Westfalenhallen Exhibition Centre on 10 and
11 January. I am very pleased about that and
warmly welcome you to our city.
Dortmund is a city with a calendar filled to the
brim with events ranging from large sports
events and concerts of world-famous artists to
highly regarded exhibitions and trade fairs. It therefore fits perfectly that
the who’s who of the event sector will meet at BOE in Dortmund. The
trade fair is an excellent opportunity for keeping up to date with the latest
trends in the event sector and for making new business contacts. The best
proof for the popularity of BOE is the annu-ally increasing number of exhibitors
and visitors.
The Westfalenhallen Exhibition Centre as Westphalia’s leading trade fair
location provides the right setting for “BOE International" because the site
offers optimum conditions for a successful trade fair. BOE has been a
self-organised event of the Dortmund-based trade fair organiser since
2016. That is an obvious sign of a future-oriented concept of the trade
fair programme at the Dortmund location. The same applies to the exhibition
grounds. With the construction of a new entrance portal, our Dortmund
Exhibition Centre is getting ready for the future. I am very pleased
to see that. The Westfalenhallen Convention Centre, where the Street-
Food-Congress takes place, has already been completely modernised. Convince
yourself of the significantly improved quality of stay.
I wish all exhibitors and guests that you will reach your goals at BOE –
and although there will be no room for boredom during your visit to the
trade fair, you are also warmly invited to get to know our city. It will definitely
be worthwhile.
