Seit April 2017 läuft unsere<br />
gesamte Produktion mit<br />
Strom aus erneuerbaren<br />
Energien. Die Produktion der<br />
Energie sowie die<br />
Überwachung der Zertifikate<br />
erfolgt entsprechend der EU-<br />
Richtl<strong>in</strong>ie für erneuerbare<br />
Energien (2009/28/EG).<br />
Auch beim Kunststoff setzen<br />
wir auf Nachhaltigkeit: Wir<br />
haben e<strong>in</strong>en<br />
Lippenpflegestift entwickelt,<br />
dessen Außenhülle zu 98%<br />
aus recyceltem Kunststoff<br />
hergestellt wird.<br />
Umverpackungen werden<br />
bevorzugt aus Recycl<strong>in</strong>g–<br />
oder FSC zertifiziertem Papier<br />
hergestellt.<br />
Aufgrund der<br />
Zusammenarbeit mit<br />
regionalen Partnern<br />
gewährleisten wir e<strong>in</strong>e<br />
nachhaltige Produktion. Mit<br />
<strong>Lipcare</strong> Native wird e<strong>in</strong>e<br />
Rezeptur angeboten, <strong>in</strong> der<br />
nur Rohstoffe aus deutschem<br />
Anbau verarbeitet werden<br />
und die somit CO2 sparend<br />
produziert werden kann.<br />
Mit Hilfe des Programms Eco-<br />
Cockpit der Effizienz-Agentur<br />
NRW konnten wir unsere<br />
produkt-, prozess- und<br />
standortbezogene CO2-Bilanz<br />
erstellen. Unsere aktuellen<br />
Prozess- und<br />
Produktemissionen wurden<br />
bewertet und wir arbeiten<br />
daran, unsere<br />
Ressourceneffizienz weiter<br />
zu steigern.<br />

ECO-COCKPIT<br />
S<strong>in</strong>ce April of 2017, our entire<br />
production has run on<br />
electricity sourced from<br />
renewable energies. The<br />
electricity is produced, and<br />
the certificates are<br />
monitored, accord<strong>in</strong>g to the<br />
EU directive on renewable<br />
energies (2009/28/EG).<br />
We place great importance<br />
on susta<strong>in</strong>ability – also<br />
regard<strong>in</strong>g plastics. For<br />
<strong>in</strong>stance, we offer a lip balm<br />
stick that comes <strong>with</strong> a<br />
cas<strong>in</strong>g made of 98% recycled<br />
plastic. Also, we try to use<br />
secondary packag<strong>in</strong>gs that<br />
are made of recycled or FSCcertified<br />
paper.<br />
We guarantee susta<strong>in</strong>able<br />
production by work<strong>in</strong>g<br />
together closely <strong>with</strong><br />
regional partners. With<br />
<strong>Lipcare</strong> Native we are now<br />
offer<strong>in</strong>g a formula made of<br />
raw materials exclusively<br />
sourced from <strong>Germany</strong>,<br />
reduc<strong>in</strong>g our carbon<br />
footpr<strong>in</strong>t.<br />
With the help of the Eco-<br />
Cockpit program of the<br />
Effizienz-Agentur NRW – an<br />
organization that helps<br />
manufactur<strong>in</strong>g companies<br />
improve their resource<br />
efficiency – we were able to<br />
get an even clearer picture of<br />
our product, process and<br />
site-specific carbon<br />
footpr<strong>in</strong>t. Our current process<br />
and product emissions were<br />
assessed and we are now<br />
work<strong>in</strong>g to further <strong>in</strong>crease<br />
our resource efficiency.<br />
