Gruma Hunter is a brand of Gruma Automobile GmbH –
a Mercedes-Benz car dealership chain from northern Saxony –
and specialises in the construction of hunting vehicles based on
G- and X-class models as well as Mercedes Vito.
The X-class offers the best prerequisite for conversion to a hunting
vehicle. It enables Gruma Hunter to meet the individual needs of
each hunter and to offer him the perfect hunting car.
In January, the prototype of the Hunter X-class was completed
with a large number of equipment options, but the development of
new parts is being consistently continued.
Thanks to a chassis height adjustment for more ground clearance
and high-quality off-road tyres, even deep mud or snow are no
longer an obstacle. And should you be stuck after all, you can rely
on the front winch with a pulling force of over four tons. The
Hunter X-class is protected against stones, branches and other
adversities from below with an underride guard. An extra thick
foil in Gruma Hunter green protects the paint from scratches. The
matt finish of the foil also reduces light reflections. The loading
area is also protected from scratches thanks to a two-component
coating.
While the lockable, waterproof gun compartment in the tailgate is
well camouflaged, the platform body is an eye-catcher whose versatility
leaves nothing to be desired. Below the combination of dog
and storage box there is a rope winch for the comfortable recovery
of game. The gamepan can be pulled onto the loading area via a
ramp. The integrated running surface facilitates the dog its way to
the box. Furthermore, the ramp can be used as a ladder for the
special Gruma Hunter roof platform.
The roof platform has integrated lashing rails and can carry loads
of up to 200 kg. It is designed in such a way that no additional
wind noise is generated even at a driving speed of 180 km/h.
