Vrij baan voor fietsers<br />
Langs compleet bewegwijzerde fietswegen vindt u afwisselende landschappen<br />
met fietsvriendelijke verblijven, deze wegen zijn geschikt<br />
voor een gezellig familieuitstapje of als sportieve uitdaging.<br />
Eifel-hoogten-route<br />
Een veeleisende rondtour van 230 km met afwisselende stijgingen en<br />
dalingen, langs dit traject liggen de plaatsen Blankenheim, Nettersheim<br />
en Dahlem.<br />
Kyll-fietspad<br />
Begeleidt de rivier de Kyll op 142 km vanaf de bron aan de Duits-Belgische<br />
grens tot aan de monding in de Moezel bij Trier. Veel aansluitingen<br />
aan andere fietswegen.<br />

Trek de wandelschoenen aan<br />
Een wijdverbreid en goed aangelegd wegennet combineert intensieve<br />
natuurbelevenissen, bijzonderheden van dit gebied, cultuur, rust en<br />
ontspanning met elkaar. Verkenning op eigen houtje of met opgeleide<br />
gidsen die graag gekontakteerd worden.<br />
Vulkaanpad<br />
Voor Geofans loopt dit pad aan het ‚jongste’ Maar van de Eifel en de<br />
Vulkaantuin Steffeln voorbij of op ca. 27 km krijgt men een goed beeld<br />
van de inheemse kruiden- en plantenwereld.<br />
Eifeler-Bronnenpad<br />
Op een 3-daagse ca. 73 km lange rondtour wandelt u van bron naar bron<br />
door Blankenheim, Kronenburg en het Natuurbelevenisdorp Nettersheim.<br />

Musea<br />
In het Ijzermuseum in Jünkerath kunnen kinderen in de vakantie dinsdags<br />
aan de vertoning ‚Gieten en vormen van metaal’ deelnemen en veel<br />
over de Eifeler Ijzerindustriegeschiedenis te weten komen.<br />
Magische natuur- of waterbelevenissen bieden u het jeneverbesnatuurgebied<br />
in Dahlen en Steffeln.<br />
Het Kronenburger meer die u op de verschillendste water-activiteiten<br />
uitnodigen.<br />
Tropische zeeën en gloeiend hete vulkanen hebben in dit gebied kalk-,<br />
alsook lavagesteente en de beroemde maren achtergelaten.<br />
Kasteelcomplexen, middeleeuwse stadmuren en poorten, alsook stenen<br />
overblijfselen uit de Romeinse en Keltische Tijd, getuigen van een sprookjesachtig<br />
verleden, die, vermengd met de beweeglijke dag van vandaag<br />
op straten en markten de bezoeker van de Obere <strong>Kylltal</strong> aantrekt.<br />
Open space for bicycle riders<br />
Whether for a nice family trip or for a sport challenge, the good signposted<br />
bicycle paths offer changing landscapes with possibilities of<br />
accomodations, bicycle riders welcome.<br />
Eifel heights route<br />
On the 230 km long round trip, with its challenging ups and downs, you<br />
will ride through the cities of Blankenheim, Nettersheim and Dahlem.<br />
Bicycle path in the Kyll valley<br />
This path runs along the Kyll River on about 142 km, it starts at the spring<br />
near the Belguim border up to the estuary running into the Mosel River,<br />
not far from Trier. It also has many connections to other riding paths.<br />

Tie up your shoes!<br />
An arborescent, largely developed and well-thought path network<br />
offering altogether nature sensations, regional specialities, culture,<br />
peacefulness and recreation. To discover on your own or with experienced<br />
hiking guides willing to accompany you on a tour.<br />
On the way to discovery of volcanos<br />
All “Geo” fans must not fail to take a look at the most recent “Maar” in<br />
the Eifel as well as the volcano garden in Steffeln. Or else to explore the<br />
secret world of the local flora and herbs.<br />
Eifel spring trail<br />
Go hiking on a 3-day round trip of about 73 km which will take you from<br />
one spring to another through Blankenheim, Kronenburg and very close<br />
to Nettersheim.<br />

Museums<br />
Every Tuesday during school vacation, children can participate in the<br />
performance of “casting and forming metal” in the Museum of Iron in<br />
Jünkerath and learn more about the Eifel iron industrial history.<br />
Whether the Moorpfad Dahlem juniper protection area, the Steffeln<br />
volcanic garden or the Kronenburg lake, all those offer you either magical<br />
nature or water sensations which invite you to various water activities.<br />
Tropical seas and glowing volcanoes have left behind lime and lava<br />
rocks as well as the famous tuff cones in the region.<br />
Castles, ring forts and gates of the Middle Age as well as stony relicts of<br />
the Roman and Celtic times are evidence of a fabulous past, which together<br />
mixed with the lively presence on the streets and on the markets,<br />
attract all visitors on this triangle combination.<br />
