Be it that, these spaces are created, as in the case of stone, by hollowing out and knocking away or, as in the wood and paper works, by adding more and more parts. These sculptures proliferate into the surrounding space and adopt it. While the living figure is always the starting point in stone and wood, it is quite the opposite with the works on paper.
