S-Bahn Hamburg
IMS mit VECOM Datenübertragung
Wilfried Kutz.
4 getrennte Kommunikationsschleifen
angesteuert. Diese
vier Schleifen werden einzeln abgefragt
, ohne daß die Schleifen
sich beeinflussen .
Das System besteht aus einer
Fahrzeugausrüstung und einer
Streckenausrüstung.
Die zu erfassenden S-Bahn Fahrzeuge
mussten mit einer Antenne
( Transponder ) und einer Ansteuerungseinheit
(VCU-Combo)
in der die Fahrzeugdaten hinterlegt
sind, ausgerüstet werden.
Die Versorgungsspannung der
Fahrzeugausrüstung wurde je
nach Fahrzeugserie aus dem
Bordnetz generiert.
Die 62 Fahrzeuge der Baureihe
472 wurden vor Ort in Hamburg,
die 103 Neufahrzeuge der Baureihe
474 im Herstellerwerk ausgerüstet.
Eine Streckenausrüstung besteht
aus zwischen den Gleisen verlegten
Induktionsschleifen, einer Verstärkerbaugruppe
(Loop-Buffer)
und der Auswerteeinheit (VE-
COM-4- Waystation).
In den VECOM-4 Baugruppen
werden die Fahrzeugdaten und
die Schleifenbelegung ausgewertet
und an das übergeordnete
Informations- und Meldesystem
weitergeleitet.
Im Rahmen des Projektes wurden
268 Schleifensysteme mit 74 VE-
COM-4 Auswerteeinheiten installiert.
Die Datenübertragung vom
Fahrzeug zur Strecke beginnt
wenn sich ein Fahrzeug mit den
Transponder über der Schleife
befindet. Das System erkennt das
Transpondersignal und sendet
seine Fahrzeugkennung. Mit dem
ersten erfolgreichen Empfang
der Fahrzeug- ID- Nachricht stellt
die VECOM Auswerteeinheit
dem übergeordneten IMS diese
Daten standortgebunden zur
Verfügung.
Das VECOM-System ist komplett
eigenständig , d.h. es hat keine
Verbindung zu anderen und insbesondere
nicht zu sicherheitsrelevanten
Fahrzeugeinrichtungen.
Optional ist geplant , das System
über eine IBIS-Schittstelle mit
dem Fahrzeugbus zu verbinden,
um beispielsweise Diagnoseinformationen
von anderen Fahrzeugkomponenten
an die Strecke
zu übertragen.
Da das System grundsätzlich eine
bidirektionale Datenübertragung
ermöglicht, d.h. auch Daten von
der Strecke an das Fahrzeug
übertragen kann ,können z.B.
Fahrgastinformationen an die
Züge übertragen werden.
The VECOM-4 system controls 4
separate communication loops
which are interrogated individually
and do not influence each
other.
The system consists of carborne
and wayside equipment.
Before S-Bahn vehicles can be
detected, they must first be
equipped with an aerial
(transponder) and a controlling
unit (VCU-Combo) which has the
vehicle identification data stored.
Power supply for the vehicle
equipment is generated by the
vehicle power supply depending
on the vehicle series.
The 62 vehicles of the 472 series
were equipped on site in
Hamburg, the 103 new vehicles of
the 474 series were equipped on
the manufacturer's premises.
S-Bahn Hamburg
Information and communication system
with VECOM data transmission
Wilfried Kutz. When we received an order from the repas AEG
Berlin in 1999 to supply a vehicle identification system for the
Hamburg S-Bahn, we accepted the challenge and supplied the
equipment in 2000 and 2001. Vehicle positioning and tracking
functions were installed in the Hamburg S-Bahn stations with the
VECOM-4 system. The system in turn supplies the incoming data
as output information to a higher-ranking communication
system.
Wayside equipment consists of
induction loops placed between
the tracks, an amplifier
component (Loop-Buffer) and the
evaluation unit (VECOM-4 Way
station).
Vehicle data and loop occupancy
are evaluated in the VECOM-4
components and passed on to the
higher-ranking information and
communication system.
Altogether a total of 268 loop
systems were installed with 74
VECOM-4 evaluation units.
Data transmission from the vehicle
to the wayside begins when a
vehicle equipped with a
transponder is located above the
loop. The system recognises the
transponder signal and transmits
its vehicle identification code.
When the VECOM evaluation
unit receives the vehicle ID code,
it passes on this information
together with data on the position
of the vehicle to the higherranking
IMS.
The VECOM system is completely
independent, i.e. it is not
connected to any other
equipment in the vehicle and in
particular not to any safetyrelevant
devices.
As an option, the system can also
be connected to the vehicle bus
via an IBIS interface, to enable
diagnosis information from other
vehicle components to be
transmitted to the wayside for
example.
As the system allows data
transmission in two directions, i.e.
data can also be transmitted from
the wayside to the vehicle, it is
possible to send passenger
information to the trains.
