Motorische Verstellung
Neben der Untermatratze ohne Verstellbarkeit und der
mit manuell verstellbarer Kopfhochlagerung bietet BASIS
12, BASIS 18 und BASIS 25 eine Auswahl von vier- und
fünfteiligen, motorisch verstellbaren Untermatratzen, die
mit dem Bettrahmen eine konstruktive Einheit bilden.

Movability of BASIS 12, BASIS 18 and BASIS 25
motorised adjustment
In addition to the base mattress non-adjustable and the
one with manually adjustable head raising, BASIS 12,
BASIS 18 and BASIS 25 offer a selection of four- and fivepart
motor adjusted base mattresses that form a single
unit with the bed frame.

Das Besondere bei BASIS
Das Bett BASIS zeichnet sich durch 3 Dinge aus:
Zum Einen ist es die konstruktive Einheit von Untermatratze
und Bettrahmen, im angelsächsischen Raum
spricht man vom Boxspring-Bett. Die Unterfederung ist
durch die aufwändige Verarbeitung von den SCHRAMM-
Polsterern etwas vertieft eingebaut. So entsteht eine
Polsterschale, in der die Obermatratze sicher und optisch
korrekt liegt. Dieses Prinzip ist ausschlaggebend für die
Optik von BASIS, denn allein deshalb kann die Matratze
rundum frei und bündig auf der Untermatratze aufliegen.
Zum Anderen bewahrt das bündige Aufliegen der Matratze
auf der Untermatratze von BASIS 18 und BASIS 25 –
natürlich unter Beachtung entsprechender Bettzusammenstellungen
– die Möglichkeit, aus einem Doppelbett
zwei optisch und funktional vollwertige Einzelbetten zu
machen.
Zum Weiteren hat BASIS immer eine gepolsterte Blende
in 12 cm, 18 cm oder 25 cm Höhe, die natürlich auch von
einer Schabracke verdeckt werden kann.
Aufbauend auf einem soliden Holzgestell wird in Handwerks-Qualität
das mehrschichtige Polster aus hochwertigen
Polstermaterialien gearbeitet.
Finally BASIS always has a padded surround 12 cm, 18 cm
or 25 cm high, which may of course sometimes disappear
behind a valance. A multi-layered padding of high
quality upholstery material is carefully built up by craftsmen
onto a solid wood frame.

The BASIS difference
The BASIS bed has three distinguishing
characteristics:
At first BASIS is the typical box-spring construction.
SCHRAMM upholsterers fit the innerspring system at a
slightly lower level. This creates an upholstered ‘tray’ in
which the top mattress rests securely and visually correct.
This principle is vital for BASIS’ appearance because
for this reason the mattress can rest freely on the
base mattress and flush on all sides.
Additionally, since the top mattress lies flush to the base
mattress of BASIS 18 and BASIS 25 you retain the option
– naturally only by observing appropriate bed arrangements
– to turn a double bed into two visually and functionally
equivalent single beds.

Die Füße und Rollen für BASIS
1. Zylinderfüße für BASIS 18 und 25
Massives Buchenholz in den Höhen 10,15,20 cm.
Oberflächenausführungen: natur oder gebeizt,
alternativ farbig lackiert. In der Ausführung natur
und gebeizt steht neben der lackierten eine
gewachste Oberfläche zur Verfügung.
Serienfuß bei BASIS 18 und BASIS 25 ist der
Zylinderfuß, natur lackiert.
2. Rollen schwarz und weiß für BASIS 18 und 25
Arretierbare und in schwarz auch nicht arretierbare
Version. Aufgrund verschiedener schwarzer
Distanzstücke kann BASIS mit unterschiedlicher
Fußbodenfreiheit ausgestattet werden:
10, 15 oder 20 cm.
Die synchronisierte Leichtlauf-Doppelrolle mit
massivem Aluguß-Kern (2a) verfügt über abriebfreie,
gummierte Laufflächen, die auf glatten
Fußböden eine gute Haftung bieten.
3. Blockfuß für BASIS 18 und 25
Vollholzkörper, Höhe 10 cm, mit
zusätzlichem Abschluß aus Buchefurnier zugunsten
einer homogeneren Holzoberfläche.
Im Fußinnern wird wahlweise, mit geringfügigem
Überstand nach unten, ein Gleiter oder eine
Rolle fixiert.
Die Oberflächenausführungen sind identisch mit
denen der Zylinderfüße.

cylindrical foot, natural varnish.

Because of variable black spacers, BASIS can be
fitted with different floor height adjustments:

The synchronised, smooth running double castor
with solid cast aluminium core (2a) has a
non-abrasive rubberised tread that provides good
grip on smooth floors.

Teilbarkeit und Schwenkbarkeit
Die Teilbarkeit läßt in Verbindung mit
den dafür geeigneten Kopfteilen die
nachträgliche Teilung eines Doppelbettes
in zwei formal vollwertige Einzelbetten
zu. Der abnehmbare Blendenbezug
ist dann 3- bzw. 4-seitig für jede
Doppelbetthälfte auszuführen.
Die Schwenkbarkeit der Doppelbetthälften
vereinfacht das Bettenbeziehen
und die Reinigung unter dem Bett.
Beides, Teilbarkeit und Schwenkbarkeit,
ist mit bestimmten Kopfteilen auch miteinander
zu kombinieren.
Bei der Schwenkbarkeit empfehlen wir
synchronisierte Teppichrollen.
The plus with BASIS 18/25
divisibility and swivel action
The divisibility permits a separation of
a double bed into two formally equivalent
single beds, when using the appropriate
headboards. The removable surround
cover is then displayed on 3 and/
or 4 sides for each double bed section.
The swivel action of the double bed
halves simplifies putting sheets on the
bed and cleaning under the bed. Both
divisibility and swivel action, can also
be combined with each other with
certain headboards.

The BASIS Programme offers you the possibility
to fashion your own personal bed by
choosing a surround height of 12, 18 or 25 cm,
the headboard, the feet or castors, the cover
or the valance, as well as the woods, fabrics
and colours.
As an alternative to the standard, flat Unic
surround cover, you may choose, for the
BASIS 18 and 25 only, the Aura surround cover
with seams in the removable model. The pictured
valances, from the classically elegant to
the modern, complete the creative fabric possibilities.
The bold printed numbers 12,18 and 25 for
the pictured beds show the combination possibility
for each headboard - BASIS 12 and/or
BASIS 18 and/or BASIS 25.
