Bodelwyddan Castle
Come join us at this great adult only hotel which is set in 200 acres of parkland,
Park, which is less than an hour away, the Grade II listed Bodelwyddan Castle
with its ivy-clad turrets and commanding hilltop position offers a truly
unforgettable experience. Bodelwyddan Castle is also home to the National
woodland walks, historical sites and even a maze to negotiate.
ensure we arrive at our hotel with time to
unwind before our evening meal.
Day 2 Today we head to the stunning and
picturesque North Wales coast. We visit
Conwy, with its magnificent Edwardian Castle
and quaint medieval streets. Then enjoy some
time in Llandudno, a seaside resort which has
retained much of its Victorian charm.
Day 3 We spend the day at the hotel today
and make the most of all the hotel has
to offer. Alternatively join us on an optional
excursion (not included in the tour price).
After dinner, another great evening of Warner
entertainment follows.
Day 4 After breakfast we depart our hotel and
travel to Llangollen where we will enjoy a
journey on the Llangollen Railway. The
Railway runs for seven miles along the banks
of the River Dee from Llangollen to Carrog
through some of the most beautiful scenery in
the UK. See the spectacular views from the
Horseshoe Pass. After free time for lunch we
enjoy the ‘Canal in the Sky’ boat trip over
the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, over 1,000 feet long
and standing 126 feet above the river
Dee. Built 200 years ago, Thomas Telford and
William Jessop's awe-inspiring aqueduct is
the highest and longest aqueduct on the canal
system and is now a World Heritage Site.
Day 5 After breakfast we depart our hotel
and return home via a mystery stop where we
allow free time to explore and obtain lunch
