Norwegian Nature Centre – Hardanger
New-opening 1st April 2018. New designed experience centre for Norwegian
nature, climate and environment, and visitor centre for the Hardangervidda
National Park. Dramatic Ivo Caprino, wide-screen film ”Fjord Mountain
Waterfall”. Interactive, fact-filled exhibitions, appealing to all ages and to all
nationalities, texts in 13 languages. Hardangervidda hall restaurant and café,
seating up to 200 guests in a building with history, serving traditional and
modern cuisine. Gift Shop and Tourist information.

Vøringsfossen waterfall
One of the best-known waterfalls in Norway. Vast quantities of
water falling 182 meters from the Hardangervidda plateau into the
Måbødalen valley. Excellent and safe, upgraded viewing points from
Fossli Hotel, on route 7. Complete upgrading of the area to be finished
in 2023.

Offers RIB boat tours on the Hardangerfjord, starting from the harbour in

jacket and goggles included. Suitable for everyone with height over 100 cm,
children under 14 together with adults only.

Mountain farm in unique surroundings, 530 m above the Simafjorden.
