campaigns before the <strong>of</strong>ficial kick<strong>of</strong>f, to the organizations that<br />

shortfall, <strong>Winnipeg</strong>gers truly came through for our community<br />
throughout 2009<br />
As a result, more kids in <strong>Winnipeg</strong> are safe from the threat<br />
<strong>of</strong> crime, drugs and life on the streets; more families are<br />
achieving greater financial stability and hope for the future; and<br />
more neighbours are connecting with one another to address<br />
common issues like safety, violence and isolation.<br />
