COLLECTION 

The Artisan Stone Collection is a palette of 24 breathtaking natural 

granite colors in two lines: Classics and Exotics. 

NATURAL :: 

Crystallized under tremendous pressure deep 

underground, granite is a naturally formed 

stone composed mainly of quartz and feldspars 

that is mined from quarries around the world. 

Every piece has its own unique look that can 

never be duplicated and will always stand the 

test of time. 

COMPLEX :: 

Granite is a tangled labyrinth full of Mother 

Nature’s unique intricacies. The complex swirls 

and veining in our exotics series can add 

a great deal of character to any countertop. 

Synthetic materials lack the non-uniform flow 

of sophisticated patterns and highly detailed 

grain structures. 

STRONG :: 

Granite is hard and highly scratch resistant. Due 

to its composition of quartz and feldspars (7 

and 6 on the Hardness Scale, respectively), it is 

more durable than softer stones such as marble 

or travertine and man-made materials such as 

acrylics, polyesters or laminates. The glossy 

finish will endure years of use in even the busiest 

kitchens without being refinished. 

AFFORDABLE :: 

Granite may be more affordable than you think. 

Our stocked program not only keeps turnaround 

times shorter but allows us to charge for just the 

material actually used to produce your countertop.

SARATOGA SOAPSTONE 

Quarried naturally with absolutely no synthetics, Saratoga Soapstone 

offers a unique, soft color with light flowing veins. When oiled, 

soapstone exhibits an even more dramatic color variation. Soapstone 

is practically indestructible, requires almost no maintenance and 

adds elegance and enduring value to any project. 

NATURAL :: 

Soapstone is quarried naturally with no synthetics; 

composed primarily of talc, chlorite, dolomite and 

magnetite. 

STAIN RESISTANT :: 

Soapstone is inert, meaning acids and alkalis will 

not harm the surface and normal household items 

will not stain. 

HEAT RESISTANT :: 

No damage is caused when hot pans or dishes 

are placed on surface. 

VERSATILE :: 

Easier to cut and shape than marble or granite, so 

joints can be made inconspicuous.

Zodiaq® is three to four times stronger than most 

countertop materials and extremely resistant to 

scratches, cracks and chips. 

CAREFREE :: 

Unlike other materials, you never have to seal, 

polish or recondition the surface to maintain its 

luster. Easily cleans up with soap and water. 


A nonporous surface, it eliminates stains from 

wine, food colorings, fruit juices, paints and even 

nail polish. 


While a heat pad or trivet is recommended, Zodiaq®

Vetrazzo® ... The original recycled glass surface. Vetrazzo® has 

created dazzling surfaces in places where people live, work and 

play all across the country. 

EXQUISITELY REPURPOSED GLASS :: 

With Vetrazzo® surfaces you can express both 

your style and your respect for the earth without 

compromise. Vetrazzo is 85% glass, and all the 

glass used is recycled. 

STRENGTH & DURABILITY :: 

Vetrazzo® is incredibly strong and durable and 

will withstand many years of normal use. In the 

unlikely event of damage, it can be easily repaired 

by FLOFORM. 


Vetrazzo's® porosity is better than marble and 

concrete and equivalent to some granite. 85% of 

the surface is glass, which is impervious to stain. 

However, acids (like red wine, lemon juice, and 

vinegar) will etch the matrix of the surface (the 

concrete area between the glass) if not cleaned 

up right away. 


Composed of glass and concrete, Vetrazzo® is 

extremely heat resistant and can withstand exposure 

to normal cooking temperatures from pots, pans, 

and dishes without being damaged.

Backsplash heights are standard, but custom 

heights can be specified to adapt to your special

Post form laminate countertops are made to fit 

your budget and still maintain designer appeal. 

Undermounting sinks to laminate is no longer an 

impossibility. Stainless steel sinks can be applied 

with a Corian® sink ring or choose an integral 

look with Wilsonart® HD® Sink Collection.

sharp crisp look of a bevel in laminate, the warm
