Participants competing for the entire season will benefit from<br />
some enticing initiatives. They will receive the official Abarth<br />
driver’s racing overall, a clothing kit in the Squadra Abarth livery<br />
as also discounts on the various products emanating from<br />
the Trofeo Benelux partners and on the road-going Abarth.<br />
Registration on a race per race basis is obviously also possible.<br />
The cars can either be purchased or rented via <strong>Neri</strong> <strong>Automotive</strong><br />
sprl. Every Abarth <strong>500</strong> Assetto Corse manufactured by Abarth<br />
spa and conforming to the Trofeo Benelux technical regulations<br />
is allowed to compete.<br />
ForMAT oF The MeeTiNGs<br />
In 2013 the Trofeo Abarth <strong>500</strong> Benelux will enjoy the prospect<br />
of visiting some renowned and international circuits. Each<br />
meeting will be held over 2 days. Hereunder the format:<br />
>SAT Free Practice 1 X 30’<br />
>SAT Qualifying 1 1 X 20’<br />
>SAT Qualifying 2 1 X 20’<br />
>SUN Race 1 1 X 25’ + 1 lap<br />
>SUN Race 2 1 X 25’ + 1 lap<br />

Having already been successfully organised in Italy, in Europe<br />
and in Sweden, the Trofeo Abarth <strong>500</strong> Benelux is now joining<br />
the Trofeo Abarth club! One of the key success factors is<br />
the identical technical regulations, even though the sporting<br />
regulations may vary from one country to another. In fact the<br />
Trofeo Abarth Europe will be joining us for three of the meetings<br />
(Dijon, Nürburgring and Spa) and the Swedish “ <strong>500</strong> “ will<br />
be on hand at the Nürburgring. It goes without saying that the<br />
classifications will be distinct.<br />
scruTiNeeriNG<br />
Scrutineering will be strict and carried out to the letter. The<br />
<strong>500</strong> Assetto Corse cars will be delivered with the engine, gearbox,<br />
ECU and turbocharger all sealed. The Teams will not be<br />
permitted to work on these components. Solely sealed spare<br />
parts will be available from the organisers upon exchange of<br />
the old parts. Certain components such as the aileron or the<br />
shock absorbers will be marked and may not be replaced by<br />
another type. Random checks will also be carried out during<br />
the meeting.
