Volunteers Needed for Poppy Drive
Post 483 will hold its annual Poppy Drive on May 26 and
27, 2012. Funds from this event benefit the Post 483
Relief Fund.
This can be a very profitable drive. The sites selected
for donations are busy with shoppers all day long . . .
and most people are quite generous.
Our problem is that the post does not have enough volunteers
to man the stations during the scheduled periods
of allotted time. If we could get more volunteers to
man our stations, the donations are there waiting for us.
PLEASE help your post! Call Commander Frank
“Skip” Sousa at 508-0458 if you could volunteer for a
few hours at one of our stations — usually one of the
supermarkets, post offices, or state liquor stores.
