• optional: External PC for the operation of the measurement

and evaluation of the measured data

The PVPM1000C is equipped with the following input/output

interfaces (you find all interfaces besides the grid connection at

the front panel, they are all marked):

4.3 Power Supply

The PVPM1000C contains a accumulator which lets it become

independent from grid power supply. The accumulator can be

charged by the integrated charge unit. For this purpose you must

connect the PVPM1000C to the grid power. After switching on

the grid power on the back side of the case the accumulator is

loaded automatically. The loading state is displayed by a LED at

the front of the device.

4.4 Connecting a PC

The PVPM1000C can operate independent from a external PC.

For an extended evaluation of the measured data or just for

controlling the PVPM1000C from the PC you can connect the PC

to the PVPM1000C: Put the delivered cable (SUB-D 9B / SUB-D

9B) to a free serial port of your PC and to the “PC” connector at

the PVPM1000C.
